Conservation and restoration of Southern part of the main structure of Faria Bagh Palace, Dist - Ahilyanagar (3rd Call)

Provision for removing debris of collapsed structures including lowering down and sorting out the stone boulders, artifacts and other useable material including documentation, stacking at suitable distance near work site etc. complete as directed. [M3] Removal of debris of southside collapsed structure of roof .

Provision for careful dismantling of bulged, out of plumb and badly damaged outer southern side wall portion, arches and columns above first floor and bringing down the dismantled material with the help of chain pulley and erection of scaffolding for workers climbing up and down and for safety of workers, sorting out of useful material, documentation if any, stacking properly in a convenient manner near the work site etc. complete as directed. Provision for restoration of outer veneering of wall, pillars & arches in rough dressed basalt CR stone masonry with stone size (0.30 x0.20x0.15 m as per original pattern in lime Surkhi mortar 1:1:1 for restoration of southern side wall portion above first floor including erection of scaffolding, transportation, lead, lift, mixing, curing etc complete as directed. Note: After dismantling existing structure usable materials will be sorted out and pre check measurement of usable materials will be done by the Engineer from the Circle office. [M3] (22.00 Cum CR stones available at site to be dressed as per original & required surkhi as available on site will be given by the dept.)

Provision for corner stones required for restoration of wall, pillars & arches sizes 0.30 x 0.20 x 0.20 m as per original pattern in lime mortar 1:1:1 for restoration of southern side wall portion above first floor including erection of scaffolding, transportation, lead, lift, mixing, curing etc. complete as directed. Note: After dismantling existing structure usable materials will be sorted out and pre check measurement of usable materials will be done by the Engineer from the Circle office. [M3] (Assumed 30% stones sorted out from the dismantled material)

Provision for restoration of core-filling the gap between the veneering courses of wall, arches, columns etc. with rubble, stone boulder in lime Surkhi mortar 1:1:1 for restoration of southern side portion above first floor including erection of scaffolding, transportation, lead, lift, mixing, curing etc. complete as directed. Note: After dismantling existing structure usable materials will be sorted out and pre check measurement of usable materials will be done by the Engineer from the Circle office. [M3] (Ruble stone & surkhi available at site)

Provision for providing and fixing missing and decayed teak wood lintels/ beams in side walls as per original existing size for supporting and distribution of superstructure load and stopping further cracking and damage of arches, walls for restoration of southern side portion above first floor including transportation, lead-lift, applying melamine polish, finishing and fixing at site etc. complete as directed. Note: After dismantling existing structure usable materials will be sorted out and pre check measurement of usable materials will be done by the Engineer from the Circle office. [M3]

Provision for constructing temporary brick masonry in mud mortar for setting of arches including striking the joints, curing from floor & removal the same after setting of arches and completion of work etc. complete as direction [M3]

Provision for providing SS 304 grade steel clamps for fixing stone members in arches and veneering as per actual found during execution of work [EACH] Provision for providing steel/copper clamps for fixing stone members in arches and veneering as per actual found during execution of work.

Providing and applying 15 mm thick lime plaster over stone surface to maintain the level surface in existing ancient stone and preparing as a base coat for plain plaster or semi ornamental design plaster as per site situation in lime surkhi mortar 1:2 (1 lime, 1 sand, 1 brick surkhi) with organic adhesive well grinded by lime grinder machine and surface to be prepared roughed to serve as a key to hold the next coat and allowed 15 days curing etc. complete as directed. [M2] (Surkhi as available on site will be given by the dept.)

Providing and applying 30 mm thick plain lime plaster over newly applied base coat as per existing pattern including making of groove, mouldings, offsets etc. as per matching with original in lime surkhi mortar 1:2 (1 lime, 1 sand, 1 brick surkhi) with organic adhesive well grinded by lime grinder machine and allowed 15 days curing etc. complete as directed. [M2] (Surkhi as available on site will be given by the dept.)
