Job Description: Step 1: Fabrication of Type IV Pressure Vessels: Manufacturing of Type IV pressure vessels designed specifically for the storage of compressed natural gas (CNG), ensuring adherence to the specification given below and as per design including material, winding pattern with ANSYS validation report submitted by L1 bidder and approved by OIC, GCETTS or PI of the NTTM project. Step 2: In-House Testing: Execution of all necessary in-house tests, such as tensile, flexural, hydrostatic bursting test, to verify structural integrity, pressure resistance, and material performance of the fabricated vessels under simulated operating conditions). Step 3: Third-Party Certification: Engagement of an authorised third-party testing agency or certified institute to carry out independent validation and certification of the pressure vessels. After manufacturing and inhouse testing the successful bidder will go for the testing of the developed type 4 CNG storing pressure vessel for profiling the pressure withstanding characteristics in consultation with the research team of GCETTS. Step 4: Exploration of Application Areas: Technical assessment and documentation of potential application areas for the pressure vessels, considering both industrial and transport sectors where Type IV vessels can be deployed effectively. Step 5: Supply: Supply of 2 numbers of tanks to the specific area, as directed by the Officer-in-Charge, GCETTS (one tank within Kolkata/Hooghly area and one tank within New Delhi area). Specification of the type-4 pressure vessel: Storage capacity: 30 L (water storage capacity); Minimum pressure to failure: 120 Bar Material: Inner Liner: High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Structural Part (Winding Part): Glass filament/Carbon filament, Matrix: Epoxy Resin, Inserter: Polymer Coated Aluminium Nozzle Dimension of the type-4 pressure vessel, Thickness of the structural part should be less than 9 mm. Tank dimensions are given in the Form II of the NIT.
