REPAIR AND MAINT OF SEWAGE LINE, DRAIN, MANHOLES, SEPTIC TANK AND MISC WKS AT ZONE A AREA OF BAGRAKOTE MIL STN UNDER GE SEVOKE ROAD

De-sludging/cleaning completely of solid/liquid sludge etc manually from inside the soak pit, septic tank, manhole of field flush latrine and removal of sludge to a distance not exceeding 100 meters and depositing in a excavated pit of appropriate size as directed and filled up with earth in each layers of 30 cm thick including spreading bleaching powder and including taking out manhole cover slab for cleaning and resetting after cleaning complete as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Earth to be filled over the pit shall be filled after sufficient absorption of liquid and size of pit shall be made accordingly. (ii) To avoid any health hazard or spreading of any foul gas, bleaching powder shall be spread as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Cost of supply of bleaching powder, spreading bleaching powder and excavating the earth pit and filling of earth etc shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted under this item .

Cleaning of sewage drain pipe of stone ware pipe, RCC Hume pipe , cast iron pipe, PVC pipe of 75 mm bore by rodding with sectional sewer rod/flexible sewer rod/bucket etc thoroughly from inspection chamber to man hole or from one manhole to another manhole of any depth and size and well flushing with water after cleaning including removal of sludge and other materials obtained from cleaning the drain pipe and manhole garbage to a pit made for this purpose and filling up the earth complete as specified and as directed. Note :-(i) Cleaning of sewage line to be started from down stream side in this operation for which some pipe line gets cleaned automatically which needs to be cleaned by rodding only and hence the same shall not be measured (ii) The unit rate of the items shall be deemed to be included for the cost of removal of sludge/waste and water accumulated in manhole/inspection chamber due to cleaning of drain by rodding etc. (iii) The sludge obtained shall be deposited in an excavated pit and filled up with earth in layers of 30cm thick as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Cost of spreading bleaching powder and excavating the earth pit and filling of earth etc. shall be included in the rate quoted under this item . (iv) To avoid any health hazard or spreading of any foul gas bleaching powder shall be spread over each earth layers as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Materials and Labour for Cleaning of WC, Urinal, inspection chamber, gully trap/ floor trap by manually and rod including removal of sludge and other foreign materials as described in item no 1.00 here in before complete as specified and directed.

Cleaning of manhole of any size and any depth complete including flushing water or pumping air complete as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5m depth for pipes, manholes, etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plain and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and exc 1.5 m but n.exc 3.00m depth for pipes, manholes, etc not exceeding 10 sqm on plain and getting out in hard/dense soil complete as specified and as directed.

Excavation over areas not exc 1.5 m in deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas exc 1.5 m but not exc 3 m in deep and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.
