REPAIR/MAINT OF HT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS AT FATEHGARH CANTT

Excavating in trenches n. exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundations, laying of pipes & cables etc and not exceeding 10 sqm on plan for manholes etc and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Digital photographs of the excavated trenches shall be provided by the Contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate, and no extra payment shall be admissible on this account.

Returning, filling in with approved excavated soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and directed. .

Removing excavated material in soft/ loose soil n. exc 50M and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed

Supply and laying of 90/76 mm dia DWC (Double Wall Corrugated) High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, with corrugated outer surface and smooth inner surface, conforming to IS 14930 (Part 1) & IS 16205 (Part 24), ISI marked, for protection of underground cables laid along poles, walls, in PCC, over roofs, etc., including all necessary fittings, accessories, jointing, fixing, complete, all as specified and directed. Note :- The Contractor shall submit digital photographs of the DWC pipe prior to cable laying and after the cable has been inserted into the trench, before backfilling, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The cost of taking and submitting these photographs shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate, and no extra payment shall be admissible on this account.

Supply and laying of 110/94 mm mm dia DWC (Double Wall Corrugated) High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, with corrugated outer surface and smooth inner surface, conforming to IS 14930 (Part 1) & IS 16205 (Part 24), ISI marked, for protection of underground cables laid along poles, walls, in PCC, over roofs, etc., including all necessary fittings, accessories, jointing, fixing, complete, all as specified and directed. Note :- The Contractor shall submit digital photographs of the DWC pipe prior to cable laying and after the cable has been inserted into the trench, before backfilling, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Dismantling and taking out unserviceable HT cables of any size from any position, including from underground, walls, poles, culverts, etc., together with the protection pipe, complete, all as specified and directed. Note :- Earthwork shall be measured and paid for separately under the relevant item of this Schedule.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning of HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts Earthed grade, cross sectional area of cable 95 sq mm, 3 core (ISI marked), laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or road, along poles, etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Excavation, earthwork, protection pipe & jointing kits shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant item of work. (ii) The Contractor shall provide digital photographs before and after laying the cable. Photographs of the trench shall also be provided by the Contractor. No extra payment shall be admissible on this account, and the cost of providing the photographs shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning of HT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts Earthed grade, cross sectional area of cable 120 sq mm, 3 core (ISI marked), laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or road, along poles, etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Excavation, earthwork, protection pipe & jointing kits shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant item of work. (ii) The Contractor shall provide digital photographs before and after laying the cable. Photographs of the trench shall also be provided by the Contractor. No extra payment shall be admissible on this account, and the cost of providing the photographs shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

S & F in replacement 100 mm bore GI Tubing light grade with all fittings laid across road, in trenches or across PCC drain, along electric pole or floor/wall for cable protection with suitable size of MS Clamps and nut and bolts/washer complete all as specified and directed. Note: The Contractor shall provide digital photographs of the pipe before and after inserting the cable into the trench. No extra cost shall be claimed by the Contractor for the provision of photographs, and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

S & F in replacement 80 mm bore GI Tubing light grade with all fittings laid across road, in trenches or across PCC drain, along electric pole or floor/wall for cable protection with suitable size of MS Clamps and nut and bolts/washer complete all as specified and directed. Note: The Contractor shall provide digital photographs of the pipe before and after inserting the cable into the trench. No extra cost shall be claimed by the Contractor for the provision of photographs, and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
