| 1.00 | Repair / servicing of transformer in situ of any make, any type, any capacity upto 1000 KVA (step up or down) 11KV/0.433 KV installed at various location in Tech area comprising with the following works :-
(a) Taking out transformer oil upto required level and keeping in empty container with safe custody for re-use after Dehydration.
(b) Opening of top cover of transformer and keeping aside and re-fixing the same after tightening of all LT and HT terminal joints (both inside and out side of transformer) including supply and fixing of all gasket of bushing (6 mm thick rubberized cork sheet) to make leak proof.
(c) Checking of tap changing switch connections and tightening and soldering properly for smooth functioning.
(d) Cleaning of LT and HT Bushing, Replacement of burnt out bushing stud made out of brass, washer, nut, porcelain bushing of existing size, terminals, oil indication glass of conservator, top gasket and drain valve etc as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
(e) Cleaning of oil tank of transformer, conservator, core, vent pipes, cooling pipe / fins by desludging, decarbonizing and finally washing with transformer oil and drying complete.
(f) Filling up the transformer with existing taken out transformer oil carefully.
(g) Dehydration and filteration of transformer oil from Transformer (s) to achieve di-electric strength not less than 40 KV on 2.5 mm over gap for a period of one minute and testing of acidity of oil and dielectric strength (before and after dehydration / filtration) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
(h) Top up new transformer oil upto desired level.
Note:-
(i) Replacement of unserviceable bushing (HT/LT) and terminals shall be measured and paid separately under respective item, under respective items.
(ii) New transformer oil shall be measured separately under respective items.
(iii) Any minor parts such as gasket, nuts, bolts, washers etc that are required to be replaced for satisfactory repair shall be provided by the contractor and rate for the same shall be deemed to be included with the unit rate.

| 2.00 | Taking down burnt out transformer of capacity 50 to 160 KVA by disconnecting all cable connection and carrying to work shop for repair and following jobs including all as mentioned in item no-1 and reassembling the transformer after necessary repairs complete all as directed:-
a) Dismantling of transformer complete (part by part) without damaging any parts / winding / core and setting aside for inspection of the Engineer-in-Charge including de-canning of transformer oil and keeping in empty barrel.
b) Repair / re-winding of HT/LT coils by replacing burnt / worn out part / coil as per the existing size of aluminium/copper wire / strip as required.
c) Carrying the transformer from workshop to site and setting in position including connecting all cables (HT/LT) and commissioning and testing with load complete.
Note:-
(i) Winding of HT/LT coils shall be measured and paid separately.
(ii) Transformer oil shall be measured and paid separately.
(iii) In case HT/LT bushing and stud required replacement, the same shall be measured and paid separately against respective items of Sch ‘A’
(iv) Complete gasket set shall be replaced by the contractor and rate for the same shall be deemed to be included with the unit rate.
