OUTSOURCING OF SERVICES FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF 132/11KV MRS EXTRA HIGH VOLTAGE WITH 50KVA DG SET AND CONNECTED EQUIPMENTS AT MRS AND EARTHING SYSTEM UNDER GEI RND RCI HYDERABAD

Outsourcing of services for operation and maintenance of 132/11KV Main Step Down Station, 50KVA DG Set and Distribution of HT networking system for trouble free operation of entire installation including 132/11KV Switch Yard (Old & New) for daily checking as given in Appendix 'A' etc., complete by providing One Electrician and One Helper per shift of 8 hours for Three shifts in a day on all days including Sundays and all Holidays complete all as specified and directed.

Maximum Demand and Power Factor shall be monitored every 4hours.

Providing stationery, aprons, safety equipments, tools, testing equipment, maintaining all records, log sheets, cleanliness and up keeping yard and surroundings of MSDS shall be the responsibility of contractor and this provision shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

Local and remote operation shall always be operational and any defect shall be rectified immediately.

It shall be the responsibility of the contractor for maintenance during break down from MSDS to down below sub station like establishing outgoing cable faults by disconnecting and meggering to the cable for opening the panels for checking the faults, isolation of the fault and restoration of power supply etc., However jointing of cables and repairs of the panels are not included in the scope of work.

All as per item No 01 above by providing One Highly Skilled Electrician per shift of 8 hours for Three shifts in a day on all days including Sundays and Holidays.

Outsourcing of services for maintenance of Voltage Stabilizers, Isolation Transformers, Main Incoming Panels of individual buildings and Air Conditioning Installation incoming panels by attending and rectifying fault/ breakdown in the system, servicing and decarbonising of LT panels for avoidance of short circuits/faults of complete RCI area including ELSEC, CPDC by providing Two Electricians and One Helper per shift of 8 hours for One shift in a day on all days excluding Sundays and Holidays.

Notes for the serial item No 01 to 03: Diesel will be issued by the department free for running the DG set and the contractor shall maintain the daily log sheet duly signed by the users at each substation.

Contractor shall maintain daily log sheet duly signed at each Sub Station all as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

All T&P including Hydraulic ladder or aerial access platform mounted on vehicle required for operating, repair and maintenance are deemed to be included in the unit rates quoted.

All stationary for Duty Roster, Attendance register, Wages register, Log sheet book, maintenance record etc., shall be arranged, maintained and submitted by the contractor to Engineer in charge in the first week of every month.

Any loss due to negligence, faulty operation shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Wage period shall not exceed one month. Wages for all workers employed shall be paid before 7th day of every month through bank account without fail irrespective of whether RAR is claimed or not.

Minimum wages, EPF, ESI, Bonus etc., to the workers shall be paid by the contractor as per Regional Labour/PF Commissioner Gazette Notification including DA all as authorized.

Labour elements for fixing of spares/parts mentioned in this schedule as supply only shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted.

The workers employed by the contractor for outsourcing shall be entitled for one day weekly off and the contractor has to provide suitable substitute in the concerned shifts. The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for this provision.

Personal protective equipment and tools such as gloves, safety shoes, torch, earthing discharging rods and spanner set shall be provided by the contractor for the persons engaged in the work. Quoted rate shall be deemed to include cost of same. Market cost towards cost of the equipment shall be recovered from any amount due to contractor for non compliance of the above provision.

M&L in repairs, Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level connected to GI strip 32x6mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, washers and check nuts made out of galvanized iron or steel all as shown on Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

Note 1: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber, 50mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cover slab reinforced with 6 Nos of 8mm dia TMT bars both ways, funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade, GI protection pipe medium grade 40mm dia and wire mesh complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub-heading earthing, specified on Sl Page No. 422 of SSR Part-II.

2. GI earth Strip beyond 7.5m will be measured and paid separately.
