Construction of protection wall in Pazhayar river from L.S.32/800 Km to L.S.32/900Km for Flood mitigation in Suchindrum Village of Agasteeswaram Taluk in Kanniyakumari District .

Earth work excavating and depositing on bank with an initial lead of 10m and initial lift of 2m in hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton hard red earth , shales, murram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders and hard gravelly soil for foundation as directed by the departmental officers as per standard specification SS 20 B including 1/3 of refilling with excavited earth other than sand etc.,

Providing and placing in position of Plain Cement concrete of M-10 using broken hard granite coarse aggregate (well graded) of nominal maximum size of 40mm and down graded to IS specified using crushed stone sand(m-sand) ( to achieve the specified characteristic strength of 10 N / mm² in 28 days ) and mixing the incredients in approved mixer including dewatering of the placement site by baling/pumping and diverting wherever necessary placing in layers and watering, curing, finishing the surface with all leads and lifts etc., complete in all respects so as to attain the profile and strength as specified in the approved drawings and specification etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Engineer incharge of work.

Providing construction contraction and lift joints in concrete including placing mastic/ Tar Pad of 20mm thick. (1.04Kg of asphalt for mastic pad of 1m2) at vertical joints inside of wall in required size as specified in the drawings and specification etc., complete complying with standard spedification and aa directed by the departmental officers (For Protective wall).
