Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for cable trenches for laying of cable / pipes etc.and getting out in hard / dense soil including taking out old unserviceable bricks and taken as credit complete all as specified and as directed. Note:-(i) Existing sand cushioning for cable protection shall not be removed. (iii) Serviceable bricks shall be stacked for reuse.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs Double wall corrugated high density polymer ethyl pipe of size 63 mm outer dia with ISI marked (IS 14930- 2001 ), laid in trenches /floors & fixed on wall/ pole with & including necessary fittings such as bends, sockets & other connected accessories etc for laying of electric cables etc complete all as specified and as directed. Make - Duraline,Astral( Rex,) Tirupati, Tijaria,Ketron.

Taking out defective cable XLPE/PVC sheathed 1100 volt grade heavy duty armoured with aluminium conductor of any Cross sectional area from trenches, wall/poles/under floor etc, and removing the unserviceable cable from site and taken as credit complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items in this BOQ . (ii) The Unit rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of the removal of brick/tile as cable protection, GI pipe and cable joint etc. and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Supply and laying XLPE LT insulated, armoured, heavy duty, 1100 Volts grade aluminium conductor cableof Cross sectional area 10 Sqmm, 4 core in trenches or fixed to wall /passing through pipe / pole and testing complete all as specified and as directed. Supply and lay in repairs 80 mm bore GI tubing light grade including all accessories viz : bends / sockets / reducers / saddles etc for passing of cables for mechanical proctection, laid under Plinth / Floors/ Paths Culverts or fixed on wall or concealed in wall / floor or along poles or as street light poles or as street light mounting bracket including necessary threading / drilling works complete all as specified and as directed. Note :Make of GI pipe :TATA/JINDAL/PRAKASH SURYA.

Material and labour for Cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 4 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 16 sqmm including taking down old unserviceable cable joint complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Location of boring holes shall be decided by the Enginer- in- charge as per requirement , nothing extra shall be payable on account of variation in length of crossing of road /PTT/pavement /Hardstanding etc. (ii) During boring soil strata may be changed, hence nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor for boring of holes through different type of soil.
