REPAIR/REPLACEMET TRANSFORMER, HT CABLE AND OVERHEAD LINE AND E/M INSTALLATION AT ,SOUTH CAMP, NORTH AND MUTAGA CAMPAT ATS BELAGAVI

Dehydration & filtration of old/ existing transformer oil including topping up of transformer oil with portable filtration cum dehydration machine to improve the dielectric strength minimium 60 KV within 1 minute with 4 mm Gap at site of any installation in GE(AF) SAMBRA area of any capacity/make of transformer installed on pole mounted, indoor/outdoor type plinth mounted complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) All necessary T&P / testing equipment/dis connection /re-connection of electric supply and shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor. (ii) Contractor shall ensure that there shall be no wastage of transformer oil. (iii) Contractor shall ensure that conservator tank is full to its level before starting the dehydration. (iv) New Transformer Oil required for topping up shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of this Schedule. (v) Testing of dielectric strength of dehydrated transformer oil of each transformer shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and cost there of shall be borne by the contractor.

Supply and filling in replacement new mineral grade transformer oil EHV type conforming to IS-335 of 1993 test requirement for corrosive sulpher of BDV not less than 60 KVA for topping up of reduced level of distribution/ power transformer due to evaporation / leakage / losses due to dehydration in transformer oil duly filtered with filtration plant to obtain high dielectric strength not less than 60 KV (gap 4mm) complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrels with test certificate. Cost of barrel shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor and empty barrel will be the property of the Department and same shall be deposited to the AGE E/M Store Yard. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Inspecting, servicing, testing and calibration of 33 KV SF 6 / VCB Breaker with control relay Panel as recommended by OEM by deploying expert inspector cum engineer and helper of authorised associates of M/s Crompton Greaves Company for followings :- (a) Properly clean the VCB with a CRC-226 & ensure proper lubrication in VCB (Electrical contact cleaner). (b) Removal of old grease & regreasing the same eith recommened frease. (c) Check condition of SIC contacts, alignment jaw contacts, proper tightening of hardware, proper closing of all poles together. (d) Check & adjust gap between hyleum sheet and side plate. (e) Check pressure of all circlips. (f) (i) Check IR between Phase-Phase (VCB closed condition) (ii) Phase-Earth (VCB closed condition) (iii) Phase-Earth (VCB in open condition) (g) Any faulty spares / parts to be replaced with new one.

Supply & Fix cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilled holes for bolts, in any shape or size for 33 KV/ 11 KV over head structure with & including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer, fixed as in repairs, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Size, section and shape of steel sections shall be as directed. (ii) Weight of paint shall not be considered for payment purpose and quoted rate shall deemed to be included this aspect.

Inspecting, servicing, testing and calibration of 11 KV SF 6 / VCB Breaker with control relay Panel as recommended by OEM by deploying expert inspector cum engineer and helper of authorised associates of M/s Crompton Greaves Company for the followings :- (a) Properly clean the VCB with a CRC-226 & ensure proper lubrication in VCB (Electrical contact cleaner). (b) Removal of old grease & regreasing the same eith recommened frease. (e) Check pressure of all circlips. (f) (i) Check IR between Phase-Phase (VCB closed condition) (ii) Phase-Earth (VCB closed condition) (iii) Phase-Earth (VCB in open condition) (g) Any faulty spares/parts to be replaced with new one.

Supply & fix in repair porcelain vitreous HT 11 KV bushings with brass studs suitable for out door distribution transformers of capacity 63 KVA - 300 KVA after removing the old u/s studs/bushings and draining out the transformer oil from the top level up to conservator of the transformer and removing the top cover of the carefully and refixing and refilling the oil complete all as specified and as directed. Note - The transformer repair / servicing works shall be carried out only by engaging specialized and experienced technicians. The rate shall be included making necessary arrangements to remove the oil in the conservator in safe drums and refilling after the repair works.

The rate shall be included making necessary arrangements to remove the oil in the conservator in safe drums and refilling after the repair works.

Surface dressing in hard / dense soil /aggregate not exceeding 15cm deep and clearing all the grass weeds etc at E/M installations as directed after removing and spreading back the aggregate twice a month or as directed upto the completion of work in each sub station and E/M installation as directed.

Re-straining/ re-stringing/tightening of existing HT 11 KV over head Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) and GI earth wire of any size/ type upto permissible sag in between existing span carefully without damaging other components such as insulators etc of HT distribution system with & including repair to broken conductor where required and replacement of binding wire with new 2mm dia aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Unit for measurement and payment for this item “RM” is comprising of 3 Nos ACSR conductors and one GI earth wire in line.

Material and labour for fixing lightning arrester for out door use expulsion type with all fittings suitable for 11000 volts HT line transmission class of discharge capacity 65 KA including taking out the unserviceable lightening arrester, complete all as specified and as directed.
