PROVISION OF EARTH FILLING BESIDES EXISTING SOLAR POWER PLANT AT VIKRAM ENCLAVE HALDIA UNDER GE(I) (CGN) KOLKATA

Supply of Locally available approved earth with fines content ( 75 micron passing through 20%), spreading, leveling in layers n exc. 30 cm thick; and watering, ramming/rolling with mechanical rollers not less than 8T. compaction shall be done at OMC to a specified percentage of standard proctor density n. less than 95%. NOTE: (a) Locally available approved earth required from the item shall be supplied by contractor from out side MOD land at his own arrangement. (b) All cost of procurement or earth including cost of transportation, royalties, taxes etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (c) The earth supplied shall be used for filling, Finished embankment/ traverse of filled earth consolidated/ compacted shall be considered for measurement purpose and volume shall be calculated based on these measurements. Also a 5% (five percent) deduction from calculated volume shall be made in terms of clause 3.6 of MES Sch Part-II to allow for increase in bulk.

Surface excavation not exceding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out soft/loose soil including cleaning/cutting of grass and shrubs complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing of excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.
