(a) Providing cement based admixed with Sikacim, integral waterproofing liquid M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, , M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) @ 0.2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions over a coat of acrylic emulsion bonding agent such as per as Sika Latex in 1:1:3 ratio of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosroc chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) having specific gravity of 1.02 or as per manufacturer’s instructions with necessary surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like roughening the surface by scrabbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure upto 500 bar pressure to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles , wax, efforencene and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/ beams/ slabs/ facia/ any brick/ stone surfaces etc all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, , M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry.

(c) Providing and applying Hibond, Epoxy based Thixotropic bonding adhesive of Make of M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd ( as approved by GE) over the prepared concrete surface to get a good bonding between existing concrete surface and providing Sika Rep Microcrete 4 Fiber reinforced cementitious repair micro concrete of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd ( as approved by GE) over Epoxy based bonding agent applied area before 6 Hrs etc including providing necessary proportions , bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it including scaffolding leak proof shuttering with working platform as required and as per design and pattern complete including preparing the surface to match with the existing surface all as specified and directed.

(d) Note : The work under (Item No. 5 to 8 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the any following manufacturer only. M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited, M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited,M/s Thermax Limited

(i) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

(ii) The unit rate quoted for item No. 5 to 8 of BOQ is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

M&L Repair to ends of chajjas/ parapets by removing old concrete, loose material & cleaning of the reinforcement and finishing the surface with rich cement mortar 1:3 , finished fair & even and making good with existing finishes complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed to inclusive of double steel scaffolding.

M&L for providing and laying / fixing TPO membrane of non-flammable waterproofing of roof which shall be 1.5mm thick loose laid membrane using Fosroc Proofex ORG membrane, layers are overlaped to achieve a minimum weld of 110mm. Hot air welding can be either hand applied or by means of automatic machines and the roll's either end are overlapped with 110mm are in staggered position and the membrane shall be laid over the layers of non-woven geotextile fiber. The seperation layer provided to prevent the mechanical abrasion and cushioning between the fosroc proofex ORG membrane and the concrete substructure . The termination of fosroc proofex ORG by aluminium strip anchoring incl removal of existing treatment. Note: Work shall be executed directly by manufacturer or through their authorised and qualified applicators, of any following manufacturer only.M/s Fosroc chemicals, M/s Thermax Limited, M/s Tiki Tar Danosa India Ltd.

M&L Petty repair to existing roof treatment by means of torching to old APP membrane, sealing to joints, bitumen sealent,incl aluminium paint etc complete all as specified and direcetd

Petty repair to aluminium section/glass doors, windows, ventilators, partitions and making good the same size upto 2 Sqm (i.e. including change of Handles, hinges, star lock, rubber beadings, bottom bearing, clips etc) included taking down and refixing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down and refixing MS window shutters n. exc 1.5 sqm through cutting of existing any type of hinges, handle and tower bolt and fixing new box type hinges, MS handle and MS tower bolt to the same window by necessary welding. The quoted rates shall be included the following aspect:- (a) Cutting of existing piano hinges, handle and tower bolt from window frame and shutter. (b) Fixing of removed shutter in the same frame on MS box type hinges 100mm, MS handle 100mm and MS tower bolt 100mm by welding. (c) Easing and adjusting the shutter before re-fixing if required. M&L for cement plaster rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces with two coats i.e. (10mm thick backing coat in CM 1:6 and 5mm thick finishing coat in CM 1:4) and mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement (WPC to be measured and paid separately) and Taking down old cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete walls etc., hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises complete all as per specified and directed.

Where dampness/ seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately).

(d) All junctions points of side wall spout where CI/ GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty.

(e) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

(f) Material and labour for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufactures instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed.

(g) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound as per manufacturers specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately).

(h) Material and labour for PCC 1:5:10 type E2, n exc 150mm thick complete all as specified

(j) Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 12.5mm thick aggregate, 50mm thick complete all as specified

Note for item No 103 to 112 :- Test the water proof area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage, seepage to the entire satisfaction of GE.

Test shall be done in presence of Engineer-in-Charge.

The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator of chemicals. Cost of testing is included in the unit quoted rate above.

The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced to the Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work.

In case of major defects, entire job shall be completed within 15 days from the date of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @100/- per day shall be recovered.

In case of minor defects, entire job shall be completed with in 12 hrs from the time of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @ 50/- per job shall be recovered.

The entire job will be carried out in entire area of Air Force stn Jalahalli

All types of T&P, PVC insulation tape, minor nuts, bolts, washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by contractor without any cost to the department.

The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tightened to base with thermoplastic screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosure should be above 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. (ii) The Contractor shall submit the drawing for approval of GE before executing the work. (iii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate. (iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs. (v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be as mentioned in list of makes (PS).

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 08 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with the sample approval

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.
