New road construction work from Bagula Nagla to Chaturi Nagla Ujhani

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required sloe and compecting to meet requirement of tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing bymix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specificatin Clause 401.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, crushable screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 4.7-405(2)

Brick Edging on both sides of the road of first class bricks 8cm (3") wide and 12 cm (4.5") deep laid with mud mortar including labour and supply of bricks finished to required template and proper alignment and also including dressing and ramming the excaveted earth as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen Emulsion(SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base incluiding cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70 to 1.00 kg /sqm using machenical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (VG-10) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.20 to 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type C (mechnical means) as per Technical Specification Clause 508. (used By paver finisher) VG-10

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type C, as per Technical Specification Clause 510. VG-10 Type C (mechnical means)

Laying brick soling layer on prepared sub-grade with brick on end edging according to lines, graded and cross-section shown on the drawing filling joints with sand and earth, spreading 25 mm thick layer of earth over brick soling, watering and rolliing the same with three wheel road roller 80-100 kN as per Technical Specification Clause 412
