Repairs to Road and Road Furniture under AGE BR-II Area of GE Brichgunj, Port Blair

M & L for repair to Pot Holes not exceeding 30 mm depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m, putting in bituminous Premixed Asphaltic Semi Dense Concrete well rammed and sealed with premixed Sand Seal Coat with 0.06 Cu.m of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of binder and again well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for repair to Pot Holes exceeding 30 mm depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m, putting in premixed bitumen macadam, well rammed and sealed with Liquid Seal Coat with binder 9.8 KG per 10 Sq.m blinded with 0.09 Cu.m of stone chippings of 6.3 mm size and again well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing existing Black Top Surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen and laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor.

M & L for Premixed Bituminous Macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber [consolidate thickness 75mm or less] using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 4% by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient and including preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing only in repairs Poly Carbonate Convex Mirror outdoor type 1200mm / 1000mm dia with built-in Maintenance Free Battery, SMF Lead Acid 12V, 7 Ah, Reflective Pole mounted and fixed to 80mm bore Medium Grade MS Pipe of required length complete and embedded in PCC 1:3:6, Type C1, including necessary earth work required for post holes complete all as specified. Note: Poly Carbonate Convex Mirror including Reflective Post will be issued under Schedule "B" for free for Fixing Only.

Fixing only in repairs Solar Road Studs [Bi-Directional] made of Aluminium Die cast matt finish of size 125 X 125 X 25mm [Approximately], working on High Efficiency Mono-Crystalline Solar Panel, Self operated from Dusk to Dawn, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Solar Road Studs [Bi-Directional] will be issued under Schedule "B" for free for Fixing Only.

Fixing only in repairs Road Stud, Two way reflective type, ABS body with retro reflective panel of Amber, Red or White colour complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Road Stud, Two way reflective type will be issued under Schedule "B" for free for Fixing Only.

M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc. of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
