Providing & Laying minimum 15 cm thick cement concrete slab over the existing sub base with a nominal mix of 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand:3 Graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) forfixing throwing circles for Discus/Hammer /Shot-put in required diameter/size including cost of cutting the base and sub-base wherever necessary cost of fixing the required throwing circle rings for Discus/Hammer/Shot-put with necessary fixing arrangements as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The finished surface of concrete base slab shall have required non skid / non slippery finish and gradient as per requirements / specifications laid down by IAAF and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge (the cost of throwing circle rings is not included in this item and shall be paid as part of competition equipment
Providing and fixing at or near ground level Precast cement concrete Kerb stones(300x300x100mm) of M-25grade of of specified size including setting in position in Kerbs edging etc. to the required line level and jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) making joints with or without grooves all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying World Athletics Approved Synthetic Athletics Track PUR TYPE SYSTEM which should comply with Environmental compatibility of VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content as per DIN-V-18035-6 and laid using paver machine including "WA" Standard markings on the surface all complete as per requirements/ specifications laid down by "WA" class -II certification and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. The synthetic Track should conform to the following specifications: Tensile strength 0.5N/mm2 0.3N/mm2 Elongation at break >40˚% Force reduction 35−50% Vertical deformation 0.6−2.5mm Standard deformation 0.6−1.8mm (at0−40˚C) Thickness >14mm Relative abrasion >1.0 Friction(sliding coefficient) >0.5 <1.1 Spike resistance Class1 Remaining indentation <1.0mm Environmental requirements Limit values for DOC, EOX, Heavy metals, smell. The Bidder should have supplied and installed at least 5 World Athletics (Earlier IAAF) Certified tracks in India in the last 5 years, out of which at least one should be Class - I certified facility in India as a Prime Contractor, WA Certificates Work Order and Completion Certificates to be submitted. Product to be only of European, American, Australian or Indian Origin.
(i) Normal Stress Areas of finished track surface
(ii) High Stress Areas with a minimum thickness of 20 mm of finished Track Surface.
Construction of Sand filling in jumping pits, including cost and conveyance of all materials and labour charges to the site to fill the sand in pits and complete finished item as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
