AIR CONDITIONING WORKS SCh 'A' Part-I

CHILLER PLANT Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Water Cooled Screw Chiller (2 Working and 1 Standby) comprising of single/multi compressors, semihermatically sealed, variable speed type motor, flood evaporator, shell and tube condenser, suction and discharge valves, HP/LP cut out, oil pressure switch, crank case heater, gauge panel, automatic capacity control, microprocessor based control with annunciation panel integral sub cooler pressure relief valves, refrigerant flow metering, oil circuit, solenoid valve, water entering and leaving temperature sensors, first charge of gas R-134a/R- 407C/R-410 ( or any other Green Refrigerant acceptable by Montreal & Kyoto Protocols), Oil, vibration Isolators, mounting frame etc. complete as per specifications (All civil work related item is to be included in overall rate quoated by the contractor as per manufacturer instructions). 75 TR each Both Working nominal capacity. Note: (i) In case 75 TR compressor is not avaible contractor will provide next higher capacity of compressor within overall cost quoted and nothing extra shall be payable. (ii) The contractor is responsible to achieve the desired temperature, humidity and air flow/thro in the conditioned areas, for efficient and smooth running of the plant and machinery if any additional spares and specialized workmanship is required the same shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (iv) Cost for all the consumable like refrigerant, refrigerant oil, inert gases etc is deemed to be included in the quoted rates by the tenderer. (v) At least one chiller will be tested on AHRI certificate test bed at 100% load in presence of Rep of Accepting Officer. (vi) Provision of Micro processor controlled APFC panel of suitable rating to ensure power factor above 0.95, cost of which shall be inclusive in the rate quoted.

Chilled Water Pumps: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 180 USGPM x 20 M head (2W+1S), Motor not less than 5.0 HP horizrntal end suction back pull out centrifugal pumps for chilled water recirculation, complete with TEFC squirrel cage IE3 motors, base plate with CED quoting on cast iron parts, base plate, and all necessary accessories. Capacity of pump sets, net head is as given above. All the pumps mentioned shall also be complete with vibration isolators (spring mounted), mechanical seals, gland drain connections, and shall be suitable for operation on 415 ± 10% Volts. 50 Hz, 3 Phase AC power supply. Flow rate of each pump 180 USGPM. Note: The pumps should be provided with Anti Vibration Pads and RCC/Cement concrete Foundation. Rubber bellows shall be provided on suction and discharge sides for vibration isolation. 2 Nos 150 mm dia dial type pressure gauges for inlet/outlet shall also be provided. Pump shall be insulated to the same specification as the connected piping. The cost quoted by the contractor includes all above.

Condenser Water Pumps: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 300 USGPM x 20 M head (2W+1S), Motor not less than 10.0 HP horizrntal end suction back pull out centrifugal pumps for chilled water recirculation, complete with TEFC squirrel cage IE3 motors, base plate with CED quoting on cast iron parts, base plate, and all necessary accessories. Capacity of pump sets, net head is as given above. All the pumps mentioned shall also be complete with vibration isolators (spring mounted), mechanical seals, gland drain connections, and shall be suitable for operation on 415 ± 10% Volts. 50 Hz, 3 Phase AC power supply. Flow rate of each pump 300 USGPM. Note: The pumps should be provided with Anti Vibration Pads and RCC/Cement concrete Foundation. Rubber bellows shall be provided on suction and discharge sides for vibration isolation. 2 Nos 150 mm dia dial type pressure gauges for inlet/outlet shall also be provided. COOLING TOWER Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of FRP cooling tower of suitable heat rejection capacity complete with FRP water basin. The basin shall be complete with connections for drain, overflow, makeup water, quick fill and float valve, plus hot dipped galvanised suction straner FRP body, of sufficient strength to withstand Wind velocities upto 60 m/s, vibrations and earth quakes, 1 nos fan and motor assembly of adequate capacity as per manufacturer recommandation, conforming to IP-55, the motor shall be IE3 rated protection for outdoor operation fill media of honeycomb design arranged in the suitable pattern for ease of replacement, distribution pipes consisting of spray type arrangement on top of the main supply standby, overflow pipe, ladder, vibration isolation pads, cables, controls, steel supporting structure etc. complete as per manufacturer's design/specifications. (i) Capacity - 90 TR (ii) Condenser Water in - 97.5° F (iii) CondenserWater out - 90° F (iii) Heat dissipation rate 2,83,500 K cal/hr. Note: (i) In case 90 TR cooling tower is not available contractor will provide next higher capacity of cooling tower within overall cost quoted and nothing extra shall be payable. (ii) All civil work related item is to be included in overall rate quoted by the contractor as per manufacturer instruction.

SHEET METAL DUCT WORK Supply, fabrication, installation and testing of Galvanized steel sheet, factory fabricated rectangular/round ducting for supply/return air system complete with neoprene rubber gaskets, elbows, splitter damper vanes, hangars, supports as per approved drawings of following sheet thickness as under, complete all specified and directed.

(a) 0.63 mm thickness sheet (24 Gauge)

(b) 0.80 mm thickness sheet (22 Gauge)

(c) 1.00 mm thickness sheet (20 Gauge) Note for Srl item no 5.00 to 5.03: (i) Air distribution system shall be designed by the contractor and submit the shop drawings of ducting layout for the approval of Accepting Officer before execution of work without any extra cost to department. (ii) The duct work shall be as per IS-655 (iIi) The Galvanized steel sheet for duct work shall conform to class viii with zinc coating of 120 gm/sq mtr (both sides) as per IS-277(2003).

FCUs Supply , installation, testing and commissioning of Fan coil unit of 600 CFM (1 .5 Tr) capacity with 3 row deep cooling coil 25 mm SP constructed out of 20 G Pre - coated Gl, with 3 Rows Deep cooling coil 3/8" construction incl 12 mm thick pre - filter, DIDW Centrifugal forward curve blower with single phase direct driven motor and drain tray made cut of sandwich type in 22G Gl constructions with 12 mm PUF insulation and 22 G pre coated Gl sheet convening including drain pipe 25mm bore PVC duly insulated and connected to the nearest drain pipe/floor drain/floor trap maintaining a slope of 2%, complete all as specified and directed.

Inline Fans: Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 1000 CFM Circular duct fans (Inline Fans) of 1 phase 230volt, 50 Hz, various capacity, Sound pressure level at 3 m: 53db, Insulation class of motor. B class, Enclosure class of motor: IP44 etc, complete all as specified.

Flexible Connection: Supplying, fabricating, installing and testing of fire retardant nonporous double layer flexible connection constructed of fire resistant material for 2 Nos for AHU. This connection shall be provided with a standard heavy duty metallic zip, complete all specified.

Supply Air Grills/Diffuser: Supply fixing and balancing of 4 way Supply air Grid Diffusers of extruded aluminum of size 595x595 mm, powder coated as specified and complete with Flush, 20mm flanges with PVC gasket, removable core type, square/rectangular as required, complete all as specified.

Fresh / Exhaust Air Louvers: Supplying, installing, testing and balancing of fresh air aluminum inlet louvers bird screen, volume control damper in accordance with approved shop drawings, complete all as specified.

Supply of MS Damper Supply, fixing and balancing of fixed singe louvered MS Damper supply air grills and for Toilet Exhaust system, complete all as specified.

Return Air Collar Grill for Toilet Exhuast System Supply & fixing and balancing of fixed single louvered extruded aluminum return air grills for Toilet Return air of size 150 X 150 mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Fire Damper and Accuater Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of fire cum smoke motorised dampers as required, the blades and frame shall be minimum 1.6mm thick GI sheet and factory fitted in a sleeve made out of 1.6mm thick GS sheet of minimum 400mm long, as and where required, of required sizes including control wiring. The damper shall be motorized and spring return so as to close the damper in event of power failure automatically and open the same in case of power being restored. The spring return action shall be inbuilt mechanism and not externally mounted. For smoke extraction, necessary control arrangement shall be provided for passive smoke control system in event of fire signal. The dampers shall be CBRI tested and certified for 90 minute fire rating against flame penetration as per UL standard 555-1995. The assembly shall be completed in all respect as required.

Supply & fixing of Actuator for Fire damper with control panel complete in all respect, all as specified and directed.

CHILLED WATER PIPING Suppling, jointing, installing and testing of the following nominal sizes of chilled water plumbing pipes MS 'C' CLASS as per IS 1239 with necessary clamps, supports, vibration isolators and fitting like flanges, union etc. but excluding valves, strainers, gauges etc. cut to required lengths and welded at joints and inclusive of accessories like elbows, tees, reducers, sockets etc. including insulating with closed cell class O elastomeric nitrile rubber in the form of preformed pipe section complete with 24 gauge aluminium cladding, all as specified and including making good disturbed surfaces of buildings to match with the existing surfaces etc. and complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The Pipes of sizes 150mm & below shall be M.S. 'C' class as per IS : 1239 and pipes size above 150mm shall be welded black steel pipe heavy class as per IS: 3589, from minimum 6.35mm thick M.S. Sheet for pipes upto 350 mm dia. and from minimum 7mm thick MS sheet for pipes of 400 mm dia and above.

Pressure Gauges: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning in position 150 mm dial type pressure gauges with Isolating valves In both the scales (meters & British units), all as specified and directed.

Industrial Temp Gauges: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning in position the industrial stem type temperature gauge with isolating gate valves in both the scales (degree C & degree F), all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 20mm dia Automatic air vent in brass construction completed with nipples, union etc. as required at all high points in the pipe lines. The valve shall be such as to have non-return valve as integral part of the vent, all as specified and directed.

3 Way Motorized Valves for AHUs: Supplying, installing, testing & commissioning of 3 way motorised diverging valve of dia 80 mm PN 1.6 with motor, Digital LCD thermostat with cooling mode including necessary control wirring to maintain the inside design condition as required, all as specified and directed.

Expansion Tank Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of size 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm expansion tank fabricated out of 5mm M.S. Sheet with inlet/outlet valves, float Valve and full way Gate Valve of 32mm dia and drain valve of 40mm dia duly insulated with 19mm thick nitrile rubber foam insulation covered with 28 gauage aluminium sheet all as specified and directed. Note:- Necessary civil work viz. PCC foundation & staging for water tank shall be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.

HDPE MAKE UP TANK FOR COOLING TOWER Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of HDPE Makeup tank of capacity 1000 Liters with inlet/outlet valves, float Valve and full way Gate Valve of 32mm dia and drain valve of 40mm dia as required all as specified and directed. Note:- Necessary civil work viz. PCC foundation & staging for water tank shall be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.

Thermal Insulation Supply and fixing of thermal insulation of supply/return air duct with 19mm thick closed cell chemically cross linked fire retardant polyethylene foam insulation of density 30 Kg/cum. The thermal conductivity of the material should not exceed 0.035 W/Mk at an average temp of 40 deg C, covered with aluminium faced foil complete with application with rubber based adhesive Pidilite SR 998 and 50mm x 3 mm thick self adhesive tape on both longitudinal & transverse joints, complete all as specified and directed.

Duct Acoustic Insulation Supply & fixing of acoustic linning of ducts with glass wool insulation made up of fine fibres and there should not cause any irritation when exposed to human body. The formaldehyde content should not be more than 0.01mg/m3 and product should be GREENGUARD certified, density 48kg/cum resin bonded glass fibre insulation rigid board fixed in frame work as per specifications covered with reinforced black 25mm thick fibre glass tissue and finished with 0.50mm perforated aluminum sheet all as specified and directed.

Main HVAC Panel Board Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of powder coated cubical type totally enclosed free standing type dust & vermin proof followings panels made out of 2.0mm thick and partition made out of 1.6mm MS sheet steel suitable for 3 phase 4 wire 415V 50Hz AC supply complete with incomming ACB/MCCB & outgoing MCB/MCCB TPN electrolytic grade aluminium busbar of required capacity indication lamp etc complete all as specified (All civil related to item is included in overall quoated, as per manufacturer instructions). AIR CONDITIONING PANEL Incoming: 630 Amp, FP, 50 KA, MCCB, having Thermal Megnatic Release with adjustable overload & short circuit protection -1 no Metering: DIGITAL Energy meter of rating with 3ncs 500/5A class 1 CTS as per SCD, The Digital meter shall measure V n IF /PF /KW 1 KVA /KVAR 1 KWH / KVAH / KVARH / MD / THD parameters. For Air Handling Unit Auto star Delta starter of 12.69 KW/ 15.0 HP with 63 Amp four pole MCB TPN 415, single phasing prevention arrangement, O/L relays, ammeters with CTS, ON/OFF/trip indication lamps and push buttons, potential free contacts for remote operation in each feeder as required - 2 nos. multifunctional digital meter suitable to measure Amp & Volt for each unit and indicating lamps with fuse and toggle switch for ON and Trip status of motor. Supply, Laying, jointing and testing of following size PVC insulated aluminium conductor armoured cables of 1.1 KV grade heavy duty confirming to IS in ground/ in ducts/in pipes/on cable trays complete with clamps, saddles etc. including effecting proper connection to the equipment all as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Earth work, sand cushioning, brick protection, GI pipe for protection and cable tray shall be measured and paid separately (ii) All terminations shall be made with proper lugs in the approved manner.

Pan type Humidifier Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of PAN-type humidifier with Electrical Panel, Body of humidifier in SS 304, Electrical panel is made out of 16 gauge CRC sheet and is powder coated both from outside and inside, electrical panel consist of MCB, Contractor, low water level cut-out, heating thermostat fir individual bank, high temperature cut-off, humidistat, fault indicating lamp, heaters 12 KVA Capacity, complete all as specified and directed .

Demolition of cement concrete of any description in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 mtr in depth and n.exc 1.5mtr in width for laying of cables or pipes and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr from the strarting point and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr in height all as specified and directed.

M & L for sand cushioning with a layer of sand 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick after laying of cable in trenches (total punned depth of sand shall be 180 mm after punning down) complete all as specified and directed. Note: punned thickness of sand shall be measured.

M&L for sub class 'B' bricks old size, laid dry flat over the cable (Width wise) after sand cushioning, for cable protection all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 40mm grade stone aggregate as in copping of electric pole or making good of disturbed surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in-charge.

Supply and fixing of following size galvanised steel water tubing light grade (ISI marked) with and all fittings such as bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, connectors, backnuts, diminishing pieces, caps, plugs and unions, clamps etc concealed or fixed to wall, ceiling or laid in floors/trenches, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of commercial Air curtain unit for door opening size 1450X2100mm for prevention of dust and conditioned air losses, single phase, 220 V, 50 HZ, made out of MS/CRCA sheet of minimum thickness 18 gauge finished with two coats of red oxide primer and final coat of synthetic enamel paint (oven baked) with MS CRC 18 gauge square perforated suction grills, Aluminum alloy fans and single phase electric motor, nozzles etc, complete with fittings and accessories so as to produce 1 - 1.5 m/sec air velocity at floor level for door opening, all as specified and directed.

S&F Automatic hand drier single phase made of water resistant and rust proof ABS plastic touch free operation with 1800watt motor speed 2400 rpm, wind speed more than 15m/sec, blowing volume al least 162m3/hour, all as specified and directed.

M&L Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600mmx 600mm x 6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below normal ground level) surrounded from all directions with charcoal dust, salt and edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 32x6mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of glavanized iron and protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 40 mm bore and watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade with funnel and wire mesh as specified and connected all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I including necessary earth work and excavation in any type of soil and PCC 1:2:4 type B - 1 in chamber and 80 mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B - 1 using XPM weighing not less than 4Kg/Sqm for cover slab/coping complete all as specified. The GI earth strip & 40mm dia bore light grade GI pipe upto 7.5 mtr deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. Beyonnd 7.5 mtr GI earth strip and GI tubing light grade 40mm dia shall be measured and paid under the respective item of schedule all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note: The unit rate quoted by tendrer is deemed to be include for necessary excavation, removal of surplus soil, PCC foundation, RCC cover, XPM weighing not less than 4Kg/Sqm, earth lead protection up to 7.5m etc complete.

M&L for earth continuity condutor of size 4mm GI wire, fixed on wall/buried in ground with and including fixing arrangements on wall like dash fastener, nuts, bolts, screw, washer etc, complete all as directed. Note:- (i) All terminations shall be made with proper lugs in the approved manner.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of strip heaters metal enclosed with external mettalic fins 3 KW (make dasspan/striplex) 18 Nos (3 rows of 6Nos) installed at return air passage including thermostat controlled contractors system comprising contractors, copper wiring for controlls, one No MCCB 100 Amps to be installed at AHU Panel complete all as specified and directed.

SCHEDULE `A' PART-II MANNING & OPERATION (Phase-III)

1st year Operation of HVAC system 150 TR (2x75 TR running + 1x75 TR standby) installed as per Sch 'A' part-I of this work round the clock including sunday & holidays in 3 Shift per day of duration 8 hours each as per timing to be decided by GE/Engr-in-Charge by deploying one operator per shift of the relevant trade having ITI certificate. Note: This item shall be operative from the next date of satisfactory completion of Phase-I testing of work.

2nd year Operation of HVAC system 150 TR (2x75 TR running + 1x75 TR standby) installed as per Sch 'A' part-I of this work round the clock including sunday & holidays in 3 Shift per day of duration 8 hours each as per timing to be decided by GE/Engr-in-Charge by deploying one operator per shift of the relevant trade having ITI certificate. Note: This item shall be operative from the next date of satisfactory completion of Ist year operation as per Srl item No 50.10 here-in-before.

Note: This item shall be operative from the next date of satisfactory completion of 2nd year operation as per Srl item No 50.20 here-in-before.

Note for Srl item No 50.10 to 50.30 : i. Operator shall be ITI qualified or with minimum 02 years working experience in operation of HVAC system of similar nature. ii. AMC to be signed by the contractor with OEM for periodical checking of installed HVAC system minimum on quaterly basis, proof to this effect shall be submitted well in advance before commencement of Phase-III. iii. Records for daily & periodic checks as per OEM standards to be maintained by the contractor duly signed by the operator & concerned executive. The cost of required stationary & equipments etc. is deemed to be included in quoted rates. iv. During contract defect liability period no extra cost will be paid against any spare required to be replaced and consumable used and same shall be procured and replaced through OEM only. v. Life insurance and ESI medical facilities of govt for all the personnel shall be done by the contractor and copy of the policy to be submitted to the deptt. vi. Minimum T&P required for the operator to be provided by contractor.

Note for Srl item No 50.10 to 50.30(Condt) : vii. Any damages to the installed machinery/during operation due to miss handling of Equipment will be compensated by contractor. viii. Minimum wages to be paid by contractor through nationalised bank ESC mode as per Labour Commission Act. ix. Weekly ‘off’ as per Labour act to be given to the Operator & reliever to be Provided by the Contractor at no Extra cost to the deptt. x. Contractor has to provide 02 pair of protective clothing overall combination with leather shoes one pair (as approved by Department) to each operator. xi. In case of absenteeism of any Operator in a shift, double the amount of Shifts will be recovered from the contractor. xii. Contractor shall obtain a Affidavit from all deployed Operators that they are deployed temporary basis by the contractor for 11 months through outsourcing & they have no legal binding/ with department regarding/employment/permanency of job. Any court cases due to accident/ break of jobs/compensation occurring due to any labour conflict during the contract period is to be delt by contractor only. xv. No Operators shall be deployed more than 11 months during the currency of work. xvi. The age of all deployed operators/ tradesmen/ helpers should be 18 to 60 years old. xvii. Operator/ helpers will use their own convegance to reach duty place/ locations.

Supply only Refrigent R-134(a) in company sealed cylinder as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only compressure oil in company sealed barrel of make and grade as recommended by the OEM.
