Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all height and depths,in all kind of soil including saturated soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil,ordinary rock and hard rock.All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion,damage to hill side,water pollition,etc.and to protect stability of hill side.Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited).All earth work in cutting/excavation,including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines,grade,side slopes,width,camber,super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge,in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road,August,2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for contract to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner,trimming,filling of unevenness,blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding.The recovery of useful stone that is 4487.92 cum.in all cases,failing which recovery @ Rupees 170/= only(Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis.Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in soil in Hilly Area by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.5 m and a lead upto 20 m as per Technical Specification Clause 1603.1

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1301 including hauling of materials in all leads,lifts as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer- in- charge.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 100-120TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crust aggregates of specifed grading premixed with bitumenous binder @5.4 to 5.6 pecent of mix and filler transporting the hot mix to work site laying with a Hydrostatic paver finisher with cnsored cntrol to the rquired grade level and allinment rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory and tandam roller to achieve the desired comactin as per MORTH specification clause no.501.6 and 501.7 complete in all respect
