Special Eligibility Criteria

   Regular and Bulk order will be placed on the manufacturer or its authorized agent having proven performance. The manufacturer firm must have satisfactorily executed at least of 20 percent of total tendered quantity upto date of tender opening against one single purchase order of Zonal Railways/PUs/CORE for the tendered item/similar item (Similar item means, item having same shape, size and specification of "Digital CBC Height Gauge , Accuracy of gauge - (+-) 0.2mm, Measuring range: 930 to 1130 mm, Model:BHG-3(CBC)-E Make- PIE or Similar." OR equivalent item to different shape, size and specification.) placed during three preceding completed financial year and current financial year upto date of tender opening.

   The onus of submission of requisite documents in support of supply [ (i) Receipt Notes/Proof of acceptance of material by consignee OR (ii) Inspection Certificate with self declaration by the bidder that supply has been accepted by consignee. Furnishing of false declaration shall render termination of contract and further action as per terms and conditions of contract] lies with the tenderer. In case the tenderers do not submit the requisite documents as detailed above along with their offer, the tender will be decided on the basis of their past supply performance of ECR, if any.

   In case tenderer participates as an authorized agent, then the performance as required above shall be that of Principal authorizing the agent. It may so happen that the agent has credentials of past supply for a different Principal but this will not be considered as performance for placing bulk order in case of change of Principal.

Commercial-Compliance

   Time is of the essence of the contract. Offers with delivery period much longer than the Railway's intended Delivery period may be ignored on the basis commercial unsuitability.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   Inspection By consignee at consignee end if P.O value upto Rs. 5.00 Lakhs otherwise by TPI.
