Excavation in trenches in soft/ loose soil n. exc. 1.50 mtr wide and n. exc. 1.50 mtr in depth for laying of cables and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick each layer complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus spoil to a distance n. exc. 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sand for cushioning with 8cm thick layer before laying of cable and 15cm thick layer after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & laying old size sub class 'B' bricks laid flat in trenches over the cable with the length of brick perpendicular to the direction of cable length, adjacent/ abutting each other complete all as specified and directed.

M&L repair to PCC earth pit by taking out existing cover with frame, providing PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate and re-fixing RCC cover with frame including necessary excavation & earthwork and brick work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L MS frame along the edges of cable ducts inside of sub stations grouted in PCC (1:3:6) duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer fixed in replacement complete all as specified and directed

M&L for mild steel chequered plate 8mm thick or over in thickness in available sizes of grade Fe-290 (Gde-E-165) cutting, finishing of edges and put up the same on cable ducts complete as per width of duct and painting with enamelled paint including taking out to all existing broken RCC duct cover all as specified and directed

M&L scraping and removing of old worn out transformer oil tank gasket and supply, fixing of new rubberized cork gasket sheet 6mm thick in the tank top cover duly pasted using gasket cement for the transformers of capacity 50 to 160 KVA including fixing the top cover with conservator complete all as specified and directed.

All as per description of item No. 9.00 here-in-before but for transformer of capacity 200 KVA to 350 KVA complete all as specified.

Taking down carefully transformer of capacity 50 KVA to 160 KVA from platform after disconnecting HT/ LT connections, transporting to workshop, de-canning of transformer oil and keeping the oil in safe custody for reuse after carrying out repair, opening the top cover, taking out burnt HT & LT coils in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge, taking out complete core assembly and inserting same in transformer body after carrying out necessary repairs, pasting the rubberized cork sheet with quick fix adhesive and setting the HT/ LT coils after rewinding of burnt HT/LT coils using proper size of conductor, varnishing including replacement of insulating material, applying one coat of zinc chromate paint to inner side of the transformer body and one coat of synthetic enamel grey paint to the external surfaces after cleaning oil and greasy spots from the body of transformer, reassembling, filling of dehydrated/ new transformer oil of approved quality for topping up, transporting back the transformer to site, installation in position, making all connection of HT & LT side and tap changer including testing and commissioning complete all as specified. Notes: (i) Re-winding of HT/ LT coils, replacement of defective/ unserviceable Parts to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Dehydration of existing oil shall be measured and paid for separately. (iii) The new transformer oil if required shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Dehydration and filtration of existing transformer oil using transformer oil filtration-cum-dehydration plant to eliminate foreign particles and to improve di-electric strength upto 45 KV (min) in 2.5mm electrode gap and to bring the acidity within the permissible limit below 0.5 mg KOH/ cm complete all as specified and directed. (Record of di-electric strength of insulating oil achieved after dehydration shall be given in writing by the contractor to the deptt).

Supply & filling transformer insulation oil for topping up the level of oil having di-electric strength 65 KV (minimum) at a electrode gap of 2.5mm upto the required level of transformer and testing of di-electric strength of oil in transformer before and after filling complete all as specified and directed. (Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed containers).

M&L painting of transformers of capacity 50KVA to 500 KVA of any type and make with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (smoke grey) after thoroughly cleaning of dust, scale grease, dirt and other foreign matrial and removing of existing paint and preparation of surfaces including writing of capacity and SM No./ MES No. on transformers complete all as specified and directed.

S&F transformer oil temperature gauge 0-100° C graduated, analogue dial type, suitable for transformer of capacity 50 KVA to 500 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

S&F silica gel breather assembly suitable for transformer of capacity 50 KVA to 500 KVA all as specified and directed.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the plate at a depth not less than 1.65 metre below normal ground level, connected with and including GI strip 32mm x 6mm in and including GI pipe 50mm bore medium grade as protection pipe (from top of earth plate up to the test point) by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI and thimbles, earth plate surrounded by packed layers of charcoal dust and common salt 15cm thick, all around including top and bottom and watering pipe 20mm bore of GI pipe light grade with funnel and wire mesh, PCC chamber of size 300 x 300 x 300mm (top of chamber minimum 15 cm above the normal ground level (1:3:6) using 20mm graded stone aggregate and 50mm thick RCC cover in (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate with 2 Nos MS handles of 12mm dia including necessary excavation/ earth work in any type of soil/rock and as shown in Electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note: If result is not achieved satisfactory, contractor will have to do re-earthing at his own cost. Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

S&F 32 mm x 6 mm galvanised iron strip as earth continuity conductor including fixing from test point to equipment and including jointing with overlapping and bolts and nuts at two places for one joint or by means of welding complete all as specified and directed

Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of 4 pole structure and painting with one coat of aluminium paint to all steel structure such as channel/ brackets, bracing, clamps, anti climbing device, cross arms and marking 30cm high alternate black & white strips with synthetic enameled paint upto 1.5 mtr height and writing pole Nos and applying one coat of cement base paint on PCC coping complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing MS cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates etc. fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers etc. including welding, bending, drilling holes for bolt of any size including provision of two coats of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed. Note: Un-exposed surface shall be given one coat of primer only.

S&F GI pipe light grade of size 100mm bore for cable protection under road/ floor along the pole including fittings complete all as specified.

Supply & replacement of danger notice plate of size 25cm x 20cm and 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet vitreous enameled white, with letters figures and conventional skull and bones and written as 'DANGER' IN SIGNAL RED COLOUR and fixed with MS clamps made out of 25 x 3mm MS flat bolts nuts of approved side for 11 KV 4 pole structure, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Letters shall be written in English, Hindi and Punjabi.

S&F in replacement pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150mm height, 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified and directed

M&L replacement of 11 KV lightening arrestor metal oxide type (Gap-less) heaving rated arrestor voltage 9 KV with normal discharge current of 10 KV all as per IEC 99.4 effectively earthed complete all as specified and directed. Make: Oblum/ Pactil/ Jaipuria.
