Replacement of Stainless Steel Plates including Strengthening to damaged portion of sill beam Girders of 04 No. radial gates [S/w-4, 6, 12, 17] installed at Ujh Barrage. Providing/placing 300 sand bags approx in the each segment of the gate to avoid the current of the water by using JCB/manual labour for making the space suitable wherever required for execution the job. Extraction of old/damaged S.S. plates of the radial gate along with old damaged portion of sill beam girders by way of cutting the concrete on the either side of sill beam along the entire span to the required depth by using concrete cutting device for baring the girder up to the bottom, scraping/chipping the cutting of damaged anchor bolts/studs by gas cutting arrangement. Strengthening to sill beam girder of the radial gate and its anchor bolts by way of straightening of sill beam girders, welding of anchor bolts on both sides of the web of girders, furnishing the sill beam groove with small concrete with the help of required tools and tackles. Positioning, levelling to align the sill beam girders in grooves at desired angle with the help of jigs and fixtures and then welding the anchor bolts with first stage embedded parts so as to make the gate leaf to rest in the centre of sill beam girders. Finishing/cleaning the top surface of girders by way of electrical grinders to make the top surface even for welding of S.S. plate. Providing/fitting and then welding the S.S. plate of size 100 mm x 10 mm over the entire length 16 meter of girders with standard quality of S.S electrodes with 6mm fillet weld. Grouting the complete groove with concrete of M30 grade composition. Grinding and polishing the top surface of S.S. plates with the help of electrical grinder so that the flat bottom rubber seals of radial gates rest on it properly. Finally extraction of sand bags from the river bed and removing/clearing the mud, filled sand bags with the help of JCB/manual labour. Complete job includes labour charges (skilled, semi-skilled), hire charges for the machinery used i.e. JCB, three phase welding machine, concrete breaker, concrete mixer and tools tackles required for the execution of job along with the cost of material i.e. SS electrodes, SS plates, cement, stone aggregate, sand and transportation charges, scaffolding, handling charges including of all kind of taxes as applicable.
