Amount

Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soils including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Roads Clause- 1603.1 and 1603.2 of General conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials upto all leads and lifts in specified places. in specified manner including arrangement of dumping site trimming, filling of unevenness, blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions to the entire satisfaction as directed by the Engineer-in charge for riding. The recover of stones, whether useful or not, for 2189.61 cum ( Two thousand one hundred eighty nine point six one cubic meter) in all cases @ rupees 170/- only (Rupees one hundred sevety) only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro-rata basis . Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation for strucutre in all depths as per drawing and technical specifications for rural roads August 2004 (Two Thousand Four) and clause 305.1(Three zero Five point One) including setting out,construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious materilas and disposal in all lead and lift dreassing of sides and back filling in treanches with excavted suitable materials. If the foundation of the structure is in an area stagnant water or is mat with in the excavation dur to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of foundation or embankment shall be kept dry loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his on cost in all case. including carriage of materials with in all leads,lifts and other incidentals complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203.(Eight zero two ,Eight zero three, One two zero two and One two zero three) P.C.C. M-10 (Ten) grade 1:3:6 (one cement: three sands: six graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm( forty millimetre) nominal size including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain / reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawings and technical specification Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 (Eight zero two Eight zero three, One two zero two and One two zero three) P.C.C.
