PROVISION OF WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINE FROM SANKURBAGH PUMP HOUSE TO LITTLE BINAGA PUMP HOUSE AT NAVAL BASE KARWAR UNDER GE(SB) KARWAR.

Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for laying/taking out DI pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of centrifugal pump sets, multi stage as per IS with electric motor of 35 HP, 1440-1500 RPM, 3 phase, 440 volts, 50 Hz heavy duty capacity and pumping water to a head 40 Mtr with discharge 3750 LPM with all necessary accessories and fittings including PVC insulated & PVC Sheathed 3 core 35 Sqmm copper cable from motor to starter necessary suitable size foundation in PCC 1:2:4 Type B-1 using 20mm gradeed stone aggregate suction and delivery suitable bore pipe and mounting arrangement all as directed by Eng-in-charge comprising of the fallowing:-(a) priming funnel with valve (b) pressure gauge at delivery side of pump set (c) Common base frame for pump set and prime mover complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and testing 150 mm dia ductile iron pipe class K-7 with all fittings in trenches complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- Excavation & earth work will be measured & paid seperately under respective item of sch'A'

Supply,laying and testing 100 mm dia GI pipe medium grade with all fittings in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Sluice Valve Class PN 1.6 of size 100 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix Cast Iron Air Release Valves with single air Outlets, conforming to IS 14845 of size 150 mm dia bore and fixing up in Cast Iron Water supply mains of size 150 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cast iron Non return valve of size 150 mm flanged PN-1.6 ISI conforming to IS : 5312 swing type with nitrile rubber flap flanged end to IS: 1538 complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Supply and fix water pressure gauge 0-12 Kg/sqcm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Laying including jointing, testing and commissioning of 3.5 core 50 Sqmm XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, LT UG electric cable with aluminum conductor 1100 volt grade including provision of lugs, glands etc laid on wall/ floor/ drain complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for valve pit chamber of size (900x900x900) mm foundation with 230mm thick brick wall in CM 1:4, 75mm thick coping in PCC 1:2:4 (Type B1), 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 for external wall surface and 10 mm thick plaster in CM 1:6 internal wall surface, 25x25x4mm thick MS Angle iron frame and 3.0mm thick MS chequd plate cover with hinges and necessary locking arrangements complete incl painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed.
