REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF EM EQUIPMENTS OF WATER FILTRATION PLANTS AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT LGJ MIL STN UNDER GE LALGARH JATTAN

Cleaning of Gravity feed filter bed chambers of capacity of 30000 Gallons per hour by taking out carefully complete sand and Gravel layers, including taking out mud & sludge and filter media from sludge channel and removing the same where as directed by Engineer-in-charge . After taking out the old Filter media such as gravel from filter bed and sludge channel, the complete filter plant shall be washed and cleaned throughly with clean water and bleaching powder and including cleaning and drilling the holes of existing CI pipe and painting of the same with black bituminious paint and necessory minor repairs of pipe and cleaning of clear water channel and two coat of white wash at inner surface of filter beds. After proper cleaninig, washing and painting, the filter beds shall be repacked with the new filter media in different layers and testing of entire filteration plant after repacking of new filter media complete all as specified and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) After taking out old filter media from filter bed shall be disposed of filteration plant vide schedule of credit as per direction of Engr-in-charge and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) New filter media shall be measured and paid under serial item No. 3.00 to 9.00 of BoQ under supply only. (iii) Cost of labour and T&P for repacking of filter bed with new filter media in different layers is deemed to be included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (iv) Cost of labour and material for cleaning of sludge channel, clear water channel, filter bed and filteration plant and painting of CI pipe and filter beds is deemed to be included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this acc

Supply only filter grade quartz white sand of size 0.5 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only natural stone grit of size 3 to 5 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only natural stone grit of size 5 to 10 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only natural stone grit of size 10 to 20 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only natural stone grit of size 20 to 30 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only natural stone grit of size 30 to 50 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only anthracite complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for repairing and overhauling to the reduction gear system at clarifloculator of bridge ratio 40/1 KA complete with replacement of slip ring, spare parts such as ‘V’ belt, bearing, rollers of etc and fillimg of oil etc including welding work and lathe work for rolling wheel as required and making canopies to the pump and motors of MS sheet not less than 2 mm thick to protect from rain/head etc including two coats of synthetic enamalled paintings (size & shape decided by Engineer-in-charge) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: The quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive all minor spares parts necessary to make the machine in satisfactory work order.
