Unloading of 50 KG bag CP Cokes from rake, direct feeding, supervision, bundling of empty bags. The contractor has to arrange manually to unload 50 KG C.P. Coke bags from the wagons and said bags are to be fed to the hoppers manually after cutting the bags. After feeding, the empty bags are to be bundled and kept separately. The above job have to be carried with proper supervision by the contractor or by his/her supervisor / representative. Unloading of the bags need to be done within free time allowed by Nalco.
Unloadind & stacking of 50 KG CP Coke bags from wagons. The contractor has to arrange manually to unload 50 KG C.P. Coke bags from the wagon and said bags are to be stacked at platform. The above job have to be carried with proper supervision by the contractor or by his/her supervisor / representative. Unloading of the bags need to be done within free time allowed by Nalco.
Feeding the stacked 50 KG bags CP Coke into hoppers by head load (SL2) Contractor has to arrange shifting of 50 KG C.P. Coke bags by head load and feed the same to hoppers manually after cutting the same. This job has to be completed within 04 (four) days of receipt of the wagons. In case the contractor fails to feed the entire quantity of above C.P. Coke bags to the system within 04 (four) days’ time, a penalty of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand) per day will be levied on the contractor beyond 4th day. For imposition of penalty an activitychart has to be prepared as per the format given below which is to be signed by the representative of Raw Materials (RM) section, Carbon Area (CA) operation and the unloading contractor. After feeding, the empty bags are to be bundled and kept separately with proper passage and smooth movement. The above job has to be carried out with proper supervision by the contractor or by his/her supervisor / representative.
Unloading of 50 KG bag CP Coke from trucks directly into hoppers. The contractor has to arrange manually to unload of C.P. Coke bags received in trucks / trailers and said bags are to be fed to the hoppers manually after opening it. The bags are to be cut/opened in transverse direction (ref: (b) of special conditions of contract. So that the bags can be reused for our internal consumption/sale purpose. After feeding, the empty bags are to be bundled and kept separately. The above jobs have to be carried out with proper supervision by the contractor or by his/her supervisor/representative.
Unloading & stacking of 50 KG bags CP Coke on high level platforms from trucks . The contractor has to arrange manually to unload C.P. Coke bags from trucks/trailers and said bags are to be stacked at high level platform. Unloading of bags from trucks has to be completed within a minimum period of 03 (three) hours from arrival of the truck/trailers at platform. The above job has to be carried out with proper supervision by the contractor or by his/her supervisor/representative.
Feeding the stacked CP Coke on high level platform into hoppers by shifting thru trucks (Sl5) The contractor has to arrange shifting of stacked CP coke bags from high level platform by trucks and feed the same to hoppers manually after opening of the bags. The bags are to be opened from top side. So that the bags can be reused for our internal consumption/sale purpose. For shifting from platform to hopper(s), the contractor has to arrange trucks. The above job has to be carried with proper supervision by the contractor or by his/her supervisor/representative.
Weighment and Transportation of empty bags to S&S Cell Contractor has to arrange loading, weighment & transportation of empty bags by trucks and hand over the same to Scrap and Salvage department within 10 days after feeding into hopper and its generation. For these jobs the contractor has to arrange truck(s). The receipt of the challan has to be submitted to the RM and S&S department. The above jobs have to be carried with proper supervision by the contractor or by his/her supervisor/representative within office hours on any working day(s) in ‘G’ shift.
Cleaning-All eqpts and track and loading / recycling into belt conveyor. The contractor has to arrange to clean BC78, hoppers under BC78 clean the hoppers, tunnel, platform, pent house, JT-1, railway tracks Silo tops immediately after completion of unloading & feeding of CP Coke from rake / wagons including water removal from pent house. To minimize the man hour during water removal from pent house, contractor has to use portable suction motor and discharge hose pipe. The spilled materials from all these areas are to be bagged and again fed to the system before arrival of 2nd rake. If any material from JT-1 and silo top falls on the ground, same materials are to be rebagged and fed to the system at the earliest to avoid contamination.
Removings of covers from wagons immediately after placement of jumbo bag rake and cleaning the spilled CP Coke from wagons after unloading of Jumbo bags from the wagons and bagging the same in to small bags (Jumbo consignments). The contractor has to remove covers from the wagons immediately after placement of Jumbo bag rake and clean the spilled CP Coke from wagons after unloading of Jumbo bags and bagging the same into small bags for further feeding into hoppers.
Un-loading of jumbo bags from Box-N wagon and stacking of these bags on high level platform. The contractor has to unload JUMBO CP COKE BAGS from all BOXN wagons mechanically by help of Crane/ Hydra, etc. within the free time allowed by Nalco as at cl.no. 15.3(a) failing which any demurrage charged by the railways will be deducted from the bills/security deposit of the contractor. All jumbo bags of a rake have to be stacked in such a manner that complete quantity can be placed within the available free area. Jumbo CP coke bags are to be properly stacked (Pyramidal Manner) up to three (03) layers only, within the allotted area or as per the advice of Manager-in-Charge from time to time. For imposition of penalty an activity chart has to be prepared as per the format given below which is to be signed by the representative of RM section, CA (Operation) and the unloading contractor.
Covering of Jumbo bags at Platfrom and cleaning of spillage during stacking: The contractor has to cover stacked Jumbo bags with tarpaulins/plastic sheets after unloading of bags from each wagon in order to avoid rain water ingress inside the bags. For this purpose tarpaulins/plastic sheets will be provided by NALCO and to be collected by the contractor from stores. Immediately after completion of the job, those tarpaulins/plastic sheets are to be segregated, folded properly and to be returned back by the contractor to RM Section.
Shifting of Jumbo bags by Trucks, Hydrta or any other machinery/equipment, unloading of the same & Feeding of said bags in to the hoppers by Hydra/Crane. The contractor has to shift all the stacked Jumbo Bags of CP Coke and feed the same to hoppers (Two station Feeding), within 05 (Five) days’ time after unloading of the rake. For this purpose the contractor has to deploy adequate machinery, equipment, etc. Including required manpower to execute the above job within the above stipulated time. If the contractor fails to feed the entire quantity of C.P. Coke jumbo bags of a rake to the system within 05 (Five) days’ time, a penalty of Rs.1,000.00 (Rupees one thousand) per day will be levied on the contractor beyond 5th day.
Bundling of Jumbo Bags(At two stations): The contractor has to Bundle the empty Jumbo bags after feeding in to hoppers.
Loading, Shifting & unloading of empty bags at designated place(Jumbo Bag consignment): The contractor has to arrange Loading, Shifting & unloading of empty bags at designated place (Jumbo Bag consignment).
