Milling on Bituminous Surface Dismantling of existing damaged Bitumen surface by cold Milling Machine up to 50 mm depth and hauling the milled material up to 10 km and stacking at nearest recycling Plant site HSR-17.43.2

E/Work on berms including excavation of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305 and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG - 10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/ granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications HSR-17.26.2

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplasticcompound 2.5 mm thick including Reflectorisingglass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area,thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surfaceapplied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finishedsurface to be level, uniform and free fromstreaks and holes. Note:- 1. A sealing primer may be applied inadvance on cement concrete pavement toensure proper bonding. Any laitance and/orcuring compound to be removed where paintis required to be applied on concrete surface. 2.Cost of painter is already included in hire charges of road marking machine. HSR-34.26

Moulded Shank Road Stud Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shankreflective road studs made out of polycarbonate/ABS moulded body and reflectivepanels with micro prismatic lens capable ofproviding total internal reflection of the lightentering the lens face with retro reflectance andchromaticity values@ ASTM E 809 & ASTM D4280. The detailed specifications and theproduct shall conform to ASTM D4280 andASTM E 809. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTMD4280 like abrasion resistance and fixed to theroad surface using the epoxy adhesive. Two cylindrical polymer shanks of not less than 20mm diameter and not less than 30 mm lengthshall be moulded in the RPM body. The markershall support a load of 13635 Kg tested inaccordance with ASTM D4280. The markershall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf forcein accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lensesshall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methylMethacrylate conforming to ASTM D788. Thesupplier shall provide a 2 years warranty forsatisfactory field performance as per clause804.7.3 of MORT&H 5th revision specifications. HSR-34.34

Notes:- 1. The item for which no rate or price has been entered in will not be paid for by the Employer when executed and shall be deemed to be covered by the other rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities (Refer: ITB Clause 13.2). 2. Unit rates and prices shall be quoted by the bidder in Indian rupees [ITB Clause 14.1]. 3. For routine maintenance, the unit rate indicated by the authority shall apply. The bidder is required to accept these rates. Further, the payment shall be performance based. 4. It may kindly be noted that the contractor would be obligated to carry out 05 years paid maintenance of Rs. 7.27 lacs as per the fixed rates mentioned as Annexure-‘A’ in the DNIT. However, the item of 05 years maintenance shall not be part of BOQ to avoid any confusion.
