Heavydressingof theexisting road including dressing high spots, filling low spots and making up loss of material /irregularities, removing of all vegetation, cambering, watering, rolling with 8to10 tonneroller to obtain a specified compaction etc. to obtain a uniformformation surface with crossfall from the road centre line to the outer shoulder edge with allowance, made for required quantity of shoulder materials to remain in place to contain the newgravel layer. Works to be carried out in accordance with Technical Specification and as directed by the Engineer

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. (ii) For Grading II Material

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and of serviceable material to be used or auctioned upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per technical specification Clause 201.
