Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of street light steel tubular pole 9.00 mtr long and painting with one coat of aluminum paint including brackets and making alternative black and white strips on pole with two coats of luminous/glow Synthtic enamel paint (each strip 30 cm height) upto 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC foundation block and numbering of poles complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Checking / Testing including taking down of street light fitings , any type from poles / walls to find out defects on site and repairing etc and repairing by changing the defective parts including minor repairs to cable connection / loose connection / necessary cleaning the bowl / perpex cover where provided including refixing of street light fiting its original place / position after cleaning complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Note : (i) Spares of light fittings shall be measured & paid separately under serial item no. 4.00,5.00,6.00 & 7.00 of BoQ as a supply only items. The labour element of fixing of serial item no.4.00,5.00,6.00 & 7.00 of BoQ is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (ii) The T&P ,Vehicles and necessry ladders etc. shall be arranged by the contractor at his own arrangments . The rates of this aspect is included in this item and nothing shall be extra paid on this account . (iii) During currency period of contract , contractor shall depute Two Electrician for attending the complaints regularely.The rates of this aspect is included in this item and nothing shall be extra paid on this account . Please note one time payment shall be made to contractor for this item.if any fault / defects occured , contractor shall rectify / replace the same without any extra cost in terms of condition 46 of IAFW-2249 of General condtion of contracts.

Taking out old broken PCC pole embbeded with PCC block complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour Pre Stressed concrete Pole 9 Mtr long 102mm x 172 mm at top 102mm x 279 mm at bottom class 10 complying with requirements of IS-1678-1978 including painting of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer with black and white strips 30 cm each up to 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC foundation block and numbering of poles complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (PCC for foundations and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately)

Material and Labour for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of poles etc, filling and mass concrete including necessary form work complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing service wire PVC insulated stranded aluminium conductor, served with inner sheating of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed of Size 6 Sqmm twin core flat, 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in charge.

Taking out old unservicable under ground LT XLPE / PVC cable of any size from trenches / wall / roof / road / pipe / pole / DB including taking out of brick layer of cable protection complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Relaying of old serviceable under ground PVC / XLPE LT cable of any grade , any size reterived from serial item No.15.00 here-in- before, laid in trenches / fixed to wall / pole / roof / laid in floor including necessary connections and thimbling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Earth work, brick & sand cushioning shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item).

Supply and laying or fixing or laid in trenches/ ducts/ through pipes/ in floors / under roads/ hard standing /along poles and testing LT cable XLPE, PVC insulated screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armourd cable (heavy duty) 1100 volt grade with aluminium conductor having cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4.00 core conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I -1988) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.. (Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning & GI pipe shall be measured and paid for separately)

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for pipe line, cable trenches or for manholes etc not exceeding 10 sqm area on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

Material and Labour sand cushioning, with dry and clean fine river sand for underground cable 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying and punned to 18 cm after laying of cable complete all as specified. (Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

Supply and laying best quality , locally available well burnt clay brick old size class B laid dry flat for protection over the cable, width equal to the length of cable complete all as specified complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Re-laying old bricks retrieved from srl Item No 16 here-in-before, for cable protection , laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable , perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Opening / disconnecting the electrical connection of defective / burnt out underground LT cable of any size any core from main switch / DB / junction box / LT panel / L T O/H line etc. Taking out the required length of cable from existing loop, cutting the defective portion of cable ,providing required thimbles / connectors at cable end and reconnecting the cable in previous location with existing main switch / DB / Junction box / LT panel / OH line etc all as directed BY Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) the cost of required earth work ie excavation,returning filling,relaying of sand / bricks and cost of drawing the required length from protection pipe ,breaking of required brick work / plaster / concrete and redoing the required cement work to match the existing surface is deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra should be paid on this account.(ii) Additional cable/ protection pipe required at site shall be measured and paid seperatly.

Supply and fixing in replacement LT Cable junction box shall be insulated and made out of Polycarbonate with glass fiber reinforced and size should be not less then 260mm x 210mm x 116 mm. .The Polycarbonate Junction Box shall be environment friendly, recyclabe, halogen & silicon free, anti acid & anti corrosive. The Junction Box shall be rated for Degree of ingress Protection IP 66 in accordance with IEC 60529. The gasket material of junction box shall be Polyurethane and the gasket shall be internally embedded.The Junction Box shall be complies with requirements of the standards IEC 60998 - 1, IEC 60670 - 22 & IEC 60670 - 2 - 5. The Junction Box colour according to RAL 9011. 7.The manufacturer of Junction Box / Enclosure shall submit a copy of IEC Certificate . For beter safety the Polycarbonate enclosure and shall be fire retardant & self - extinguishing in accordance with IEC 60695 - 2 - 11, DIN VDE 0304 Part - 3, UL Subject 94 for Flammability V-2. It should be tested at Glove Wire test for 960 degree Centigrade. The impact strength of Polycarbonate enclosure / boards i.e. the Degree of protection against mechnical load shall be in accordance with EN 50298 - 98 for IK 08 including one No. 4 pole connector and one no. MCB SP 'C' curved 6 Amp 9/10KA and chromium plated clamps and nut bolts complete all as per manufacturers instructions. Make : Cat Part K 9350 of Hensel/Siemens/GE Power/Rittal. Manufacturer should submit routine test certificate of CJB/PJB . Note :- The rate of one No. 4 pole connector and one no. MCB SP 'C' curved 6 Amp 9/10KA and chromium plated clamps and nut bolts is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Supply and fixing in replacement MCB, 3 phase, 4 pole, 415 volt of capacity 63 Amp, 'C' curve complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of MCB , SP ,240Volt, 6 Amp 10KA ,'C' curve complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement AC coil for C1 series contactor suitable for operation of timer with operating voltage 240 volt

Cutting / trimming of tree branches upto 1.50 metre distance on each side and 3.00mtr distance on both sides of LT over head lines including collection and removal from road complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :-For measurement and payment purpose each span shall be considered as 40.00 mtr. Span.If the length of span is less than 40.00mtr measurment and payment shall be considered proportionally.

Material and labour for making the hole under road and hard standing for laying and incluidng inserting Galvanised steel light grade pipe of 80 mm dia including all fittings as required at site by mechanical drill system or Auger system and making the surface good as per existing surface completed all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note : The rate of Galvanised steel light grade pipe of 80 mm dia is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.

Supply and laying or fixing GI tubing light grade 40 mm dia for cable protection including fitting complete with flat iron clamps size of flat iron 25mm x 4mm, nuts, bolts & washers complete fixed to poles / along wall / floor / under road / across the drain or nallah / laid in trench all as specified and directed by Engineer-in charge . Note :- Earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item.
