WORK SERVICES OF RUNWAY REHABILITATION SCHEME (RSS) EXERCISE USING INDIGENOUS MIXER-CUM-DISPENSER MACHINE (IMDM) AT AF STN BKT

Excavating over areas not exceeding 1.50m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating over areas exceeding 1.50m deep and not exceeding 3.0 deep getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil excavated material exceeding 1500m but not exceeding 5Km and depositing where directed at a levelled not exc 1.5mtr above the starting point in soft /loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for filling of craters with broken stone boulders or quarried stone (boulders size 150 to 300 mm broken graded stone aggregate) interstices field, surface formed and rolled with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller/vibratory roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of granular sub base (GSB) proving 200 mm thick (compacted) in two layers of 100mm spread thickness layer by providing close graded granular sub base material of grading-II as per MORTH table 400-1, mixing in machanical mix plant OMC, speding uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller/ power roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 30mm thick layers of sand including spreading over GSB including watering and compacting complete all specified and directed.

M&L for 400 micron transparent High Density Polythene film over sand layer sheet Grade -I conforming IS-10889 over sand layer side lap 150mm and end lap of 300mm shall be provided complete all as specified and directed.Note:- (i) Side lap of 150 mm and end lap of 300mm shall be provided whereever required.

M & L for filling 300 mm thick (in two layers of 150mm thick) using 20mm graded stone aggregate Ist top layer 75 mm thick and balance IInd layer 40mm graded stone aggregate, laying watering , rolling,/ compacting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller /vibratory roller including filling of interstics for smooth riding , levelled and finished including supply of 12 labours of top Rapid-grouting by IMDM Machine as per direction by (AF) authority complete all as specified and directed.. Note: (i) Contractor shall procure complete quantity of material as directed by Engr-in-Charge and staked on the site within one week from the date of commencement of work. (ii) Adequate Tools and plats i.e JCB along with operator, Road roller with operator, water brozer alogwith operator, Crane with operator (2 tonne minimum load capacity) boom raising minimum upto 6-8 meters of height and labours shall be arranged within 24 hrs from the date of intimation by Engr-in-Charge. (iii) Safety goggles ( transparent) - 15 Nos, Helmet - 15 Nos, Long boots- 04 Nos and reflective Jackets (yellow colour) -15 Nos (iv). The work is of urgent nature and to be commenced within 24 hrs from the date of intimation by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for removal of rubber etc deposits from runway surface using water blasting cum vacuuming system machine with suitable operating pressure without any damage to the existing surface by mechanical process by Runway Rubber Removal Machine (RRM) of Ultra high pressure water-jet vehicles of cleaning capacity 800 to 1000 sqm per hour of runway area with and including collecting all waste water, rubber particles, paint flakes and oil spills etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) The work shall be carried out through authorized & qualified applicator in this field. (ii) Total rubber /paint deposit should be removed and the debris/ water vacuumed simultaneously leaving no FOD so that the runway is available for routine operation immediately. (iii) The Machine make to be deployed for Runway Rubber Removal should have E-in-C approval eg SH8000,SH5000,Sk3000. (iv) Rubber/paint deposit debris should be in solid form when finally disposed. (v) In any emergency condition the machine should exit from the runway in less than 2 minutes without leaving FOD. (vi) Friction Test should be carried out using portable friction testing machine before & after Rubber deposit removal operation. (vii) After carrying out rubber removal operation on the runway , the friction reading of the rubber/ paint removed segment should be 0.55 micron. (viii)The surface of both concrete/ bitumen (rigid/ flexible) shall not get any kind of damages during the process of rubber removal nor to any adjoining areas, joint filling etc. damages made if any, shall be making good by the contractor as per the specifications of the Engr -in- charge without any extra cost. (ix) Work will be carried out in phase manner as per availability of runways. (x) Proper agreement should be done with the owner of the machine.
