Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific size of 22.4-53mm to water bound macadam Grade-3 specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 KN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming stone screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density, as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

Providing and applying tack coat with VG-10 using bitumen distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer/Bituminous surface as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using VG-10 to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base by manual means, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades as per Technical Specification Clause 508 ( By Manual Means).

Providing and laying seal coat by manual means with VG-10 sealing the voids in a Bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type 'C' as per Technical Specification Clause 510

Renewing patries 1.5 metere wide including dressing surface filling upto 8cm (3") depth and making namunas, at every 15 metre apart on either side of the road true to patri template with side slopes of 1:2 etc. trenches for taking the earth to be so dug that they form a continuous side drain at road boundary.
