Repair/Replacement of unserviciable parts of PLC (Programmable Logic controller) based master monitoring / annunciating control panel installed at Tawi Jack well Pump House for automatic pump and valve control / protection suitable for 20 Nos pumps, 35 Nos motorized butterfly valves (incl 4 Nos spare), 20 Nos pressure switches, 06 Nos ultrasonic level sensors, 20 Nos motorised ball valves for priming of pump, 20 Nos solenoid valves for air release and 06 Nos underground sumps. The PLC / system shall comprise of inbuilt drivers for RS 485, (Public switched telephone network) PSTN modem and radio frequency based wireless modem communication. The control panel shall be able to perform the following functions :- (a) Water level sensing & Display (in all underground sumps) (b) Pump ON / OFF (c) Operation of motor actuated butterfily valves. (d) Automatic toggling of pumps. (e) Auto change over in case of pump failure. (f) Single Phasing / Phase reversal protection. (g) Manual mode operation of entire system.

The PLC / system shall comprise of inbuilt drivers for RS 485, (Public switched telephone network) PSTN modem and radio frequency based wireless modem communication. Repair/Replacement of unserviciable parts of wireless communication panel alongwith radio modem, uni-directional / omni-directional antenna, power supply, patch cord, PLC to modem communication cord and communication error annunciation. The system shall be compatible with existing PLC based control panel, walll mounted type. Complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Provision of new wired broad band connection along with static IP in the name of GE Utilities Udhampur along with call costs and 3 Nos of Sim cards including suitable internet charges, This IP address shall be used for GPRS communication between the SCADA based engineering control and PLC based panel. Make: As per OEM i.e. RECKTRONIC DEVICES AND SYSTEMS or equivalent compatible with existing system as approved by GE.

Reprogramming of automation slave panels installed at Pump house for SCADA system as per existing system for smooth controlling panel of SCADA system including resetting of system complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Downloading and uploading of the PLC programms carried out only in the presence of Engr-in-Charge.

Repair/Replacement of ultrasonic level transformer at the raw water sumps with following specifications:- Range 0- 5 metres, Accuracy : 05% minimum, Supply voltage : 24V dc, Output : 4-20m A (at WTP) including necessary connections and fixing arrangements with existing specifications and site requirment complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :- As per OEM or equivalent compatible with existing system of ABB/ Emerson / SBEM / Krohne Marshall as approved by GE.

Repair/Replacement of pressure switch along with all necessary installation accessories like GI barrel piece, double nipple etc, Range : 0-6 kg/sqcm, Enclosure : Weather proof IP 65 and as per existing specifiactions complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make: As per OEM or equivalent compatible with existing system of SWITZER / INDFOSS / DANFOSS as approved by GE.

Repair/Replacement of 10mm dia brass/ SS Direct acting/ Diaphragm type pilot operated solenoid valve for air release with manual by pass arrangement alognwith all necessaary installation accessories like gate valve, barrel piece, double nipple, elbows/bends etc suitable for line pressure of 10 kg/sqcm, and as per existing specifications complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make:- As per OEM or equivalent compatible with existing system of ROTEX / AVCON / ASCO as approved by GE.

Repair/ Replacement of motor activated ball valve for priming pumpsincluding all accessories as required at site such as valve size 25mm dia, designed line pressure ; 10-kg/sq cm, mounting : Splash proof as per existing specifications and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make:- As per OEM or equivalent compatible with existing system of Riteork / Emtork / Hasel Hofener as approved by GE.

Motor activated butterfly valve for priming pumps with the following specificaions including all accessories as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge:- (a) Valve size 300mm dia. (b) Designed line pressure: 7-kg/sq cm. (c) Operating angle : 90 degree. (d) Disc material : C.I. with nylon coating. (e) Limit switches : 02 Nos for open and close. (f) Mounting : Splash proof - Direct on valve. (g) Input supply : 230V, AC , 50 Hz. (h) In built wireless modem compatibililty for remote communicaiton. (j) Valve position indicator with an output of 4-20m A. (k) The actuator should be capable of accepting 4-20mA of input for regulating purposes. (l) Manual operation : Hand wheel. Repair/ Replacement of unserviciable parts of motor activated butterfly valve 300mm for priming pumps with existing specifications such as dsigned line pressure 7kg/sqcm, operating angle : 90 degree, disc material : C.I. with nylon coating, limit switches : 02 Nos for open and close, mounting : Splash proof - Direct on valve, input supply : 230V, AC , 50 Hz, in built wireless modem compatibililty for remote communicaiton, valve position indicator with an output of 4-20m A, actuator capablity 4-20mA of input for regulating purposes, manual operation and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per serial item No-12 here-in-before but size of butterfly valve 250mm dia.

Notes for serial item No. 1 to 13:- (i) The maintenance & repair work of SCADA system shall be carried through the authorized Service Engineer of OEM only and all the work shall be carried out under the supervision of experts provided by the OEM. In this regard, an MOU shall be signed by the contractor & Accepting Officer before commencement of the work. (ii) All components/ items required to be replaced shall be genuine & original of the same manufacturer's exists at site. These components/ items shall be approved by the GE before replacements. (iii) Cost of replacement of minor parts are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. However, the payment of replacement of major parts shall be made under respective item of the Sch 'A' (BOQ). (iv) If any dispute in respect of whether it is major or minor component/parts, the decision of Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final & binding. (v) The contractor shall intimate to concerned Engr-in-Charge in writing with regards to the change of major parts.

Dry sand cushioning to underground cable provided with layer of 8cms thick before laying the cable and 15cms thick after laying and stretching the cable and punned to 18 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Only punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose.

PCC cable cover class LV type 2 flat size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, levelling, spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing surplus soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
