REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF HT OVERHEAD NET WORK, HT UNDER GROUND CABLES, VCBS, RMUS, GODS AND CONNECTED WORKS IN OLD CANTT_PATIALA UNDER GE (N) PATIALA

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation of electric pole, stays,laying of cable, pipe etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning,filling in soft/loose soil including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing the excavated surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, laying and spreading fine river sand in trenches,ducts etc, 8 cm before laying of cable and 15 cm after laying of cable for cushioning to under ground cable for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Only punned depth shall be measured for payment purpose

Material and labour for un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV, type 1, flat, size 300 mm X 180mm x 40mm laid in trenches over cable perpendicular to the direction of cable abutting each other for protection of cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate for in foundations, filling and mass concretet complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded broken stone aggregate as in coping around the poles, strut above ground level, foundation of stay etc. including necessary form work and finishing the concrete surface fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing HT XLPE cable, cross section area 185 Sqmm, 3 core, 11000 V. screened, PVC E grade insulated bedded, galvanised steel (heavy duty) strip or wire armoured with aluminium conductor, pressure earthed system. conforming to IS 7098 (Part-1) 1977 and Part-II of 1985, laid in trenches/ducts through pipes, under floor, roads or fixed to walls/along poles etc including taking out old unserviceable cableant type complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:-Excavation and earth work,sand for cushioning, cement concrete cable cover shall be measured and paid separetaly under respective items of this schedule
