1 Preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces by air compressor to remove all loose dust/dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen grade Vg-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm and laying bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (Gde-II), 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content (bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 12 tonnes articulated tandem roller (Double drum vibratory roller) and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The mix shall be mixed in hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver only. (ii) The mix shall be prepared by designing through job mix formula all as specified from Govt. engg college / Govt approved lab/HBTI. (iii) No price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side. (iv) Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete will be comprising of 2% filler material (OPC 43 grade cement). 6 M&L for repair to pot holes depth not exc. 30 mm, area n.exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm (using mechanical sprayers only) and putting in bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content (bitumen grade VG-30) by weight of total mix in hot mix plant, rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8-12 tonnes articulated tandem roller (Double drum vibratory roller) and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. 25 X Sqm Excess(+) Full Conversion INR
