Excavation over areas n.exc 1.5 metre deep and getting out in soft loose soil.

Excavation over areas exc 1.5 metre deep but n.exc 3 metre deept and getting out in soft loose soil.

Removing excavated material to a distance exc. 250m but n exc.500m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for obtaining approved earth (Stabilised soil) from out side defence land to a distance exc 1.5 Km but n.exc 5 Km and bring out to site and deposited for embankment/filling of crates complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Digging of earth pit for obtaining earth shall be included in quoted unit rate)

Forming embankment including raising or lowering earth, spreading in layers n exc. 30cm thick watering and ramming/rolling under optimum moisture conditions to the specified percentage of standard proctor density not less than 98% and finishing to required size, shapes, gradient or camber n. exc. 1.5 mtr high from the base. (Note :- (i) To arrive finsished quantity for payment purpose 5% deduction for bulkage shall be made).

All as per item No 05 above but exc. 1.5 mtr height above the first 1.5 mtr height and n.exc 3 mtr height.

M&L for construction of granular sub-base 200 mm thick (compacted) in single layer using crushed or broken stone aggregates, grading-I, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 200mm thick (compacted thickness ) WMM laid in single layer, grading as per MORTH, using crushed stone coarse aggregate, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber as required all as specified & directed. (Note:- WMM to be laid in single layer using tandem vibratory roller)

M&L for preparing WMM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a prime/tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 kg per 10 sqm with using paving bitumen over wet mix macadam (WMM) surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 150 mm thick (consolidated thickness) dense asphaltic concrete (DAC) to be laid in three layers (50mm each ) rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with binder content as per job mix formula for minimum stablilty 1200Kg (subject to minimum 6 % by weight of total mix) and coarse aggreagte (Grading-II) including 43 grade cement as filler using PMB (Polymer modified bitumen) (IS : 15462-2004) with 75% elastic recovery conforming to IRC-53-2010 and all as specified and directed.

Note :- Credit shown in credit schedule of tender document shall be considered by the tenderer while quoting the rates of various items. The same shall be recovered from various payment to contractor before handing over old material.
