Clearing grass and removal of the rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. All kinds of soil.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achievethe desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG - 10, including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications : On W.M.M. @ 0.75 Kg / sqm

Excavating, supplying & Construction of sub-grade with approved material gravelly soil / Moorum (inclusive of royalty) obtained from borrow pits (outside airport premises) with all lifts &leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted in layers of 200 mm to meet requirement of table No. 300-2 of motrh specification, minimum CBR value of 15% as per IS 2720 (part 16) as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per particular specification.

Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earthwith lead upto 50 metres.

Providing and laying of Hot Mix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [ for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade (VG-30) content shall be taken as 120 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% stone dust by weight of aggregate as filler material.]

Providing and laying of Hot Mix Semi Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement as filler of quality as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [ for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade (VG-30) content shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% stone dust by weight of aggregate as filler material.]

Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and filler as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade (VG- 10/VG-20/VG-30) content shall be taken as 135 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% hydrated lime by weight of aggregates as filler material].

Extra for compaction of earth work in embankment under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (proctor density).

Banking excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with ½ tonne roller, or wooden or steel rammers, and rolling every 3rd and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes and dressing up, in embankments for roads, flood banks, marginal banks, and guide banks etc., lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m : All kinds of soil

Extra for carriage of excavated earth by mechanical means, including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by Engineer-in-charge, beyond 50 m initial lead. For lead up to 5 Km including all lifts involved.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro- reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Cutting the existing bituminous pavement of runway / taxiways upto required depth by milling machine and loading in tippers with conveyor belt attachment including disposal of materials (mechanically) upto a lead of 6 ( Six ) km including cleaning and dressing of surface etc as directed by the engineer-in-charge. ( Excluding cost of general cleaning which is taken in tack coat item )

Laying spreading and compacting the available dismantled bituminous concrete upto required depth in layers of not exceeding 20cm per each layer with 3 wheeled road / vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonnes capacity including breaking of clods / bituminous lumps etc if any in stages to proper grade and camber and levelling with existing surface of road before rolling of topmost layers all complete as per directions of engineer-in - charge.( Dismantled bituminous materials will be supplied at free of costs by the department).
