PART - I - CIVIL WORKS

Repairing of loose / shaky vitrified tile flooring/ green marble/granite stone frames at all floors and levels using polymer modified cement based tile adhesive manufactured by Roffe Construction – NSA (Non Skid Adhesive) or M/s Bal Endura Chemicals– Gold Star or other approved equivalent. The repairing process will consists of following. (1) Complete checking by tapping of affected flooring area using solid wooden stick. Identifying the affected tiles for repair work. (2) Drilling holes through tiles and widenining of tile joints using cutter as per requirement. (3) Breaking of tiles and removing backing adhesive from original flooring, cleaning etc (If Required). Checking the original flooring by tapping using solid wooden stick and repairing of original flooring by breaking the original mosaic / cement tile flooring and filling with 1:3 cement sand mortar, curing etc complete. (4) Grouting the tile flooring using tile adhesive slurry through drilled holes, widened joints, opening made by tile breaking using trowel etc and by tapping of floor tiles etc. (5) Sealing of drilled holes, widened joints using white cement cleaning of flooring, removal of debris and disposal of debris inside colony. (6). Removing and refixing of Aluminium window/door shutter/MS grill for repairing work. After the repairing works (7) Complete checking by tapping of repaired flooring area using solid wooden stick after 7 days of repairing work in presence of departmental representative. The repaired work shall not make any hollow sound, loose/shaky motion of tiles. The entire repairing work shall be carried out as per direction and instrcutions of engineer-in-charge.'

(a) Area of flooring for which grouting of joints and backing mortar done using tile adhesive.

(b) Removing loose / shaky vitrified floor tiles and refixing the same using polymer modified cement based tile adhesive manufactured by Roffe Construction – NSA (Non Skid Adhesive) or M/s Bal Endura Chemicals– Gold star, including removal of loose/shaky tiles cleaning back side of tile and removal of tile adhesive from existing floor area, cleaning etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying at all floors and levels Vitrified tiles of first quality Marbonite of M/S H&R JHONSON (INDIA) Ltd or other equivalent approved make of approved colour, shade, pattern and of thickness as per manufacture's specifications, laid directly over tile, using polymer cum cement based adhesive (Type -II as per IS) manufactured by M/S Roffe construction or M/s Bal Endura chemicals or other approved equivalent in respect of flooring and fixed over 12 mm thick backing using ready mix cement mortar 1:3 in respect of skirting , close jointed and grouted white /colour cement slurry with pigments to match the colour of the tiles, finished to level, line, slope and plumb including cutting of tiles, making openings / cut out where necessary including wastage for odd shape of room and final cleaning of surfaces as required, curing etc. complete all as per specification,relevent IS code & as directed by the EIC.

a) In flooring with tiles of approx. size 600 mm x 600 mm similar to Salt & Pepper (White/Grey)/ Rigato/Athelon of M/s H& R Johnson (I) ltd. Or similar tile of other approved make, laid directly over existing tile using tile on tile polymer cum cement based adhesive.

b) In Dado / skirting with tiles of size 600 x 100 mm similar to Salt & Pepper (White/Grey)/ Rigato/Athelon of M/s H& R Johnson (I) ltd. Or similar laid over 12 mm thick ready mix cement mortar 1:3 backing, jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade & finishing the top of skirting etc. complete, including dismantling the existing dado/skirting tile and backing cement mortar disposal of debris etc. complete.

Providing & laying at all floors & levels first quality ceramic tiles of minimum thickness as specified by the manufacturer of M/S. H&R JOHNSON (INDIA) Ltd. or equivalent approved make of approved colors, shade and texture in flooring / dado / skirting as per approved pattern. incluidng cost of all materials, including cutting the tiles to required shape, wastage, pointing the joints with white cement mixed with matching pigments to match the colour of the tiles, finished to line, level, slope & plumb, final cleaning of surface as required, curing , making necessary opening cutouts etc.and including removing existing flooring / dado and disposing of debris inside Anushaktinagar colony at the identified locations complete all as per specifications, relevant IS code & as directed by the EIC.

a) In flooring with tiles of size 300 x 300 ( approx size ) Digital HD series of M/s H& R Johnson or equivalent approved make with 20 mm thick 1:4 Cement mortar bedding (Using factory made Ready Mix Mortar only)

b) In flooring with anti skid tiles of size 300 x 300 mm x 12 mm th ( approx size) Checkered Ivory of Endura tiles of M/s H& R Johnson or approved equivalent with 20 mm thick 1:4 Cement mortar bedding (Using factory made Ready Mix Mortar only)

c) In dado / Skirting with tiles of 300X450mm (Approx size) of Digital HD Series of M/s H&R johnson (India) Limited or approved equivalent fixed over 12 mm thick 1:4 cement mortar (Using factory made Ready Mix Mortar only) backing / fixed directly over existing tile with polymer cum cement based tile adhesive manufactured by M/s. Roffe construction (Non-Skid Ahhesive, NSA) or M/s Ardex Endura (Gold Star) or other approved equivalent, jointed with cement slurry & grouted with pigment of matching shade & finishing the top of skirting/dado etc. complete.

Providing & laying machine cut machine polished natural stones for repalcement of existing damaged stone in frames, kitchen platforms, cill, jams, Facia etc including necessary cement mortar for backing/ bedding, arladite adhesive, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, slope, level, plumb, curing etc, as required including cutting of stone slabs, wastages, making cut outs wherever required etc all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. (Cut size of stone will be measured)

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position at all floors factory made Aluminium sliding/top hung/fixed/ adjustable louvered windows & ventilators with rivit joint of specified size, made of integrated bronze anodised matt finished (15micron thick) aluminium section (extruded) of Deluxe domal series or equivalent or as directed by EIC , including for making exhaust fan frame work, handles of specified size etc, of approved manufacutres for following types with extruded sections of required series as per drawing of Jindal / Indal / Aluminax or other approved equivalent make of approved sections with size and weights as directed for frames and shutters(including wastages if any) confirming to relevant IS specifications with all approved Bronze anodised aluminium fittings and accessories, latching fixture, 2/3 rollers with ball bearing of superior quality all as shown in the drawing including providing and fixing aluminium channel beading/glazing clips fixed with necessary bronze anodised screws, grouting the gap with sealant and including dismantling of existing window frame and shutter, glass and depositing same to dept store etc all complete generally as per drawing, specifications etc, all as directed by EIC.

Providing & fixing ordinary plain / frosted / Bajara sheet glass/ for MS openable/louvers or aluminium sliding windows , glass doors, vision panels etc of approved make of following thickness in various sizes as required at site, using first class glass oil putty of approved quality and make including supplying & fixing glazing pins, teak wood or aluminium beading, EPDM gasket etc with necessary screws, nails etc (as required). at all floors & locations including cutting the glass to required size, removing the existing broken / damaged glass panes from windows / doors / partitions etc. along with its old oil putty/gasket /beading etc. carefully and disposing off the un-serviceable material with in colony including wastage in cutting, transportation etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fabricating and fixing in position structural steel grills at all level, using M.S. angles, flats, bars etc. with anchor fasteners of suitable dia in the marble jambs & cills including painting by dipping with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade & make and one coat of approved steel primer, including cutting,fabrication, welding etc complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Supplying & fixing 25 mm thick PVC integral free foam sheet in form of flush finish door shutter, manufactured by M/s. Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (Ex-cel sheet) / M/s. Rajashree plastiwood or other equivalent approved make of white colour, solid section, extruded rigid, light weight sheet with fine & homogeneous closed cell structure with smooth, glossy, hard surface finish on both sides including providing recessions for hinges and providing & fixing 3 nos 100 mm heavy duty S.S. hinges and 2 Nos. 100 mm heavy duty aluminium baby latches, 2 nos. of 100 mm Al. Bow handles with back plate of M/s Shalimar Hardware or equivalent and including providing a vision panel opening of size 300 mm X 200 mm including providing and fixing PVC moulded louvers on both faces in the opening of vision panel with ss screws, all edges to be smooth finish with mixture of PVC powder & solvent etc complete all as per specification and as directed by the EIC. Note:- 1) The entire door shall be jointless shutter. 2) The sizes shall be approximately 650 mm x 2000mm, however exact dimensions shall be measured at site before manufacturing.

Providing marine ply of 19 mm thick conforming to latest IS -710, for making / repairing of wooden cupboards/cabinet etc at all floors and levels, including cutting to required sizes and jointing and fixing the same with necessary screws, adhesives, providing and fixing teak wood lipping to all exposed faces of ply wood and including wastsge, transportation and including removing old damaged cupboards/cabinet and refixing the same after repair, including removing & refixing all fittings & fixtures and depositing unserviceable cupboards to departmental store etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Supplying and fixing following type of fittings, fixtures and fastenings of approved quality along with necessary CP brass screws, bolts, nuts, washers and other standard accessories etc. complete all as directed by the EIC.

Supplying & fixing night latches of Godrej make or other equivalent approved make with 7 lever and with triplicate keys to the existing main door at various flat/ locations including all charges, screws, removing and returning the old fittings to dept. stores, shifting the positioning of night latch sets, if required and plugging the unwanted holes/ cut outs in door frame/ shutter etc. complete all as directed by the E-I-C.

Supplying & fixing in position the following type solid core block board flush door shutters with commercial ply / teak veneer as specified below conforming to IS 2202-latest, with 20 mm thick teak wood lipping alround, fixing shutters in position to existing door frames at all floors by cutting/ planing if necessary including the labour for removing & refixing old fittings & fixtures and for fixing of the fittings & fixtures with wooden packing pieces if necessary with screws, including one coat of approved primer on commercial ply surface etc.including removing existing damaged shutter,fittings and depositing at dept. stores etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by EIC.

Maintenance of door shutter without removing from position including removing & re-fixing of fittings / fixtures complete all as per specification & as directed by EIC.

Loosening and providing temporary supports to existing electrical fittings/ fixtures/ board for carrying out tiling work etc. and refixing it after completion of renovation including supplying & fixing casing capping & electrical wire wherever required as per deptt. specification etc complete all as directed by the EIC.Note: Measurement shall be for each fittings/ fixtures/ board.

Removing & refixing existing geyser with fittings & fixtures for carrying out tiling work etc.and refixing it after completion including supplying & fixing casing capping & electrical wire wherever required as per deptt. specifications etc complete all as directed by the EIC

Half brick masonry in partition walls using well burnt locally available bricks of approved quality in cement mortar 1:4 (Using factory made Ready Mix Mortar only) at all floors and levels, scaffolding, raking out joints, curing, etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & fixing IInd class teak wood in frames of required sections for doors, windows, ventilators, shaft doors, partition etc. wrought framed and fixed in position including providing & fixing necessary SS Screws and fixing frame in position including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make and shade over a coat of approved wood primer for the exposed surfaces & two coats of bituminous paint to the surfaces of frames in contact with masonry / concrete etc. including removing the old damaged frames stacking serviceable material and disposing of debris inside Anushaktinagar colony at the location identified by EIC etc. complete all as directed by the EIC.

Supplying & fixing 10/18mm thick PVC integral free foam sheet in form of flush finish door shutter, manufactured by M/s. Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (Ex-cel sheet)/ M/s. Rajashree Plastiwood or other equivalent approved make of white colour, solid section, extruded rigid, light weight sheet with fine & homogeneous closed cell structure with smooth, glossy, hard surface finish on both sides, all edges to be smooth finish with mixture of PVC powder & solvent etc including dismantling the existing plywood/A.C sheet shutters, removing and refixing of architraves with necessary screws, stacking serviceable material and disposing off debris inside Anushaktinagar colony at the location identified by EIC etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC. Note: The entire shutter shall be jointless shutter.

Providing and fixing fly proof stainless steel 304 grade wire mesh of 28 gauge(made out of 28 gauge wire) in the aluminium sliding door / window and clear story window, using wire gauge with average width of aperture 1.4 mm in both directions including providing and fixing of stainless steel screws and washer at maximum distance of 300 mm complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size at all levels and locations including mixing, laying, consolidation, finishing, curing, formwork including removing the existing flooring, finish and disposing off debris inside Anushaktinagar colony at the location identified by EIC etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing 1.0 mm thick decorative laminated sheet of plain /wood grain in gloss / matt finish of approved make with high density protective surface layer and reverse side of adhesive bonding quality conforming to IS:2046 Type S, including cost of adhesive of approved quality,removing and refixing door shutter, cutting, including cutting the shutters at bottom portion as per site condition ,wastage including disposal of debris outside colony etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

Providing & Fixing in position 25 mm commercial block board shutters forcupboard, kitchen cabinet etc. bonded withphenolformaldihyde resin shutter ofapproved manufacture with second class teak wood lipping of size 25mm wide and20mm thick alround for cupboard fixing to(frames will be paid under relevant item)including providing second claass teak wood meeting styles of size 25 x25mm shape asshown in the drawing by cutting/planning ifnecessary including labour charges for fixingthe fittings and fixtures (cost of fittings &fixtures will be paid under relevant item)and if required painting all over with two coats ofsynthetic enamel paint over a coat ofapproved primer all complete as perspecifications, drawings and as directed byEngineer-in-Charge.

Repairs to the existing door frame by replacing part of the frame with 2nd class teak wood at site of work by :i) Cutting of the damaged / decayed portion of the door frame without disturbing / removing of the existing frame. ii) Providing wood with 2nd class teak wood as per the existing frame for repairing of the damaged / decayed portion of the frame including making lap joints for jointing the new wood with old wood work by fixing necessary screws and synthetic adhesive etc. complete. iii) Fixing the repaired door frame in position with embedding the frame upto 50 mm depth in the floor and fixing coach screws to the wall including breaking of the floor for making pocket, applying two coats of bituminous paint to the surfaces of frames in contact with masonry /concrete, repairing floor with P.C.C. 1:2:4 finishing, including one coat of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer on new work and one coat of synthetic enamel paint over entire surfaces of frame etc. & disposing of debris with in colony etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing C.P. teak wood moulded beading 40x20 mm(architrave) size mentioned below around door & window frames at all floors & locations with necessary screws including two coats of painting with one coat of approved primer including cost of screws, wastages in cutting, transportation etc. including removing the old damaged beading and disposing the same complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Labour charges for Removing, dismantling, fabrication & refixing existing Aluminium sliding/top hung/fixed/ adjustable louvered windows & ventilators/doors with rivet joint of specified size along with MS safety grills, window for repair & maintenance such as replacement of rollers, marble cills, jams, EPDM Gasket, sealent all complete generally as per specifications , all as directed by EIC. (Rollers, gasket, friction hinges, marble stone, floor springs etc shall be paid under relevant item.)

Labour Charges for cleaning, brooming, washing/mopping the vacant flats including disposing of waste materials including cost of cleaning materials like brooms, detergents/disinfectants etc complete all as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge.

Carrying out miscellaneous welding work at all levels & location for MS windows, ladders, fencing, gate etc including required peg stay, cleat, louver cleat, hinges, member, hook, bolt, nut other required materials, labour, welding machine, welding rod etc complete all as per specifications & as directed by the EIC.

Supplying & fixing of Nylon rope (Cloth Hanger purpose) 6 mm dia as directed by the EIC

Supplying & fixing of MS Safety chain for doors complete all as directed

Sand faced cement plaster 20 mm thick in CM 1:4, two coats using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces with base coat of 12 mm thick and finishing coat of 8 mm thick final rendering,including using richer mix for making corners if necessary, at all floors and level, including making grooves of existing size wherever required, including cleaning the surfaces, including membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s Anuvi Chemicals, Concure of M/s fosroc, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification etc. including removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris inside colony etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. NOTE:1.The contractor must take full precautions that original brick work is not damaged while dismantling of plaster. Incase of any damage the same shall be made good with 22g chickenwire mesh at his own cost . No separate payment for any additional thickness of plaster if any will be made. Contractor must visit site and acquiant himself with the condition of building.

Pressure grouting through RCC slab / brick masonry by drilling hole in RCC slab to required depth without causing any damaged to reinforcement, inserting ½” dia PVC pipe in hole securing the hole sides with mortar 1:2, pressure grouting with cement slurry mixed with approved water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement to required pressure, continuing the pressure grouting till the flow of cement slurry stops, removing the PVC pipe, sealing the hole with cement mortar 1:1, scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer – in – Charge.

White washing for ceiling & walls of rooms and staircases in two coats on old works with lime of approved quality by adding blue and glue in required quantity including scaffolding, scrapping, wherever required,cleaning the surface with sand paper and fibre broom and filling the cracks, holes, with approved putty and making even surfaces etc. complete as per specifications including cleaning of floors, doors, windows etc. as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying one coat of cement based grey putty of M/s Roofit mix or other approved euivalent make over entire surface including preparing old painted surfaces by thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper /acrylic emulsion / white wash etc, filling up the cracks, crevices, depression, holes, spray curing for three day etc, including sand papering and making surfaces even and smooth dusting /cleaning, scaffolding , covering the furniture etc with tarpaulins or eqivalent covering materials, cleaning of all surfaces etc.& disposing of debris inside colony at designated location etc.complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats synthetic oil bound distemper of approved shade and make over one coat of approved cement primer, including thoroughly scrapping, removal of old paint if any, sand papering & preparing the surfaces, applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices mild depression etc. scaffolding including cleaning of floors, doors & windows etc.& disposing of debris in side colony at designated location etc. all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats FLAT oil paint of approved shade and make over one coat of approved cement primer, including thoroughly scrapping, removal of old paint if any, sand papering & preparing the surfaces, applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to filling up crevices, mild depression etc. scaffolding including cleaning of floors, doors & windows etc.& disposing of debris inside colony at designated location etc. all as per specifications and as directed by the EIC.

Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of acrylic emulsion paint of approved make & shade over two coats ofapproved primer (alkali resistant) consist of thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper /acrylic emulsion / white wash surface, applying a coat of approved cement primer, filling up the cracks with approved crack filling compound , applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices, mild depression etc. thoroughly scrapping the surface, applying 2nd coat of approved cement primer carrying out full stucco puttywork , apply two coats of acrylic emulsion paint including necessary covering material and removal of splashing & droppings from floors, walls including scaffolding, ladder as required & disposing of debris in side colony at designated location etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Repainting of old painted wooden/steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint using first quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and shade over one coat of approved wood/steel primer including preparing surfaces, filling with putty scaffolding and cleaning etc. including removing old paint by scrapping, blowlamp etc.complete all as directed by the EIC.

Providing and applying three finished coats of exterior grade acrylic based emulsion (Over sand faced plastered surfaces / RCC Jalli / fins ) of Apex Ultima of M/s. Asian Paints / Excel of M/s. Nerolac / Heatshield of M/s. Dr.FIXIT / Weathershield Max of M/s. ICI Delux or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face / rough cast plaster/ RCC jalli / RCC fins at locations as required, including preparation in proportion of One litre of Apex Ultima or other makes with 400 ML. of potable water, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 4-6 hours for each successive coats and ensure consumption of 0.27 ltr/Sqm for 3 coats, including scaffoliding ,preparation of surface, cleaning and filling the cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. complete generally as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed by the EIC.

Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of Royal luxary acrylic emulsion paint of approved make & shade over two coats of approved primer (alkali resistant) consist of thoroughly scrapping oil bound distemper /acrylic emulsion / white wash surface, applying a coat of approved cement primer, filling up the cracks with approved crack filling compound , applying approved stucco putty to entire surface to fill up crevices, mild depression etc. thoroughly scrapping the surface, applying 2nd coat of approved cement primer carrying out full stucco puttywork , apply two coats of acrylic emulsion paint including necessary covering material and removal of splashing & droppings from floors, walls including scaffolding, ladder as required & disposing of debris in side colony at designated location etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Applying three coats of Touch wood of approved make & tint to obtain finish as required over a coat of wood filler including sand papering, cleaning, filling up holes, cracks & crevices with putty etc. complete to give an uniform shade etc., complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing Godrej or other equivalent multipurpose lock for doors of shelves/nitches/cupboards/cabinets with stainless steel duplicate keys including removing old non functioning existing lock and depositing to deptt. Stores, etc complete all as per specification and as directed by the E-I-Charge.

Supplying and fixing following type of miscellaneous fittings, fixtures and fastenings of approved quality Stainless steel fittings and fixtures of M/s Shalimar hardware or approved equivalent along with necessary CP brass screws,bolts, nuts, washers and other standard accessories as per approved sample etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

a) Heavy duty SS 304 butt hinges of size 125mm X 76mm X 2.8 mm

Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar, for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using acrylic based polymer and comprising the following operations: 1. Breaking cracked / spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site,simultaneous transportation and disposed at a location in Anushaktinagar as identified by EIC. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. 2. Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping / wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone /rust remover of Dr. Fixit / Anuvi chemicals / Fosroc or other eqivalent. 3. Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. 4. Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved Manufacturers Like M/s Astra , M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. Appearance: Milky white Ph- value : 9-10 Specific gravity : 1.055+/-0.005 Solid contents(%w/w)-: 44+/-1 Viscocity at 25 degree C temperature (in sec): 15-20 Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party Lab. is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply. 5. Bond coat should be applied @ 0.37 ltr./layer/sq.m. 6. Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10

a) Building up with polymer modified cementatious mortar for RCC structural members etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 Kg. : Silica sand 125 Kg. : polymer liquid 10 ltrs.) with necessary bond coat (polymer : Cement = 1:1 by volume) for tack coat and also for subsequent layers using polymer including curing, covering the flooring /window with tarpaulins or equivalent covering material to avoid deposition of polymer mortar and cleaning of floor / windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. b) Repairing with polymer bonded mortar up to 35mm thick in layers of not exceeding 20mm (with out chicken mesh) in a day (proportion- cement 50 Kg : silica sand 125 Kg) with applying protection coat / bond coat to reinforcement, bond coat to old concrete and bond coat for every successive layers of 20mm thick in proportion polymer : Cement-1:1 by volume as per specification including covering the floor/windows with tarpaulin or equivalent covering material etc., and cleaning after repair etc., complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. The rate is inclusive of supplying and applying protection coat /Bond coat of polymer.

Labour charges only for carefully removing / dismantling the existing G.I. Water supply pipe line in all sizes, along with its existing fittings at all floors and location including cleaning the pipes with thin rod, removing sand particles or miscellaneous other obstructions in pipes and fittings including labour charges for replacing the damaged / unserviceable G.I. Pipes & fittings wherever found necessary including refixing the same in its original position in proper line, level and plumb with necessary specials / fittings making threading's, jointing the pipes and fittings with hemp yarn, white zinc paste, clamping, testing the pipes & fittings for leakproofness and smooth working including returning the defective / unserviceable materials to stores of maintenance Units etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE: Necessary materials required for replacement shall be supplied by the deptt. free of cost.

Providing and fixing PVC flush pipe Everlas or equivalent of 32 mm dia up to a length of 2.25 M (approximate) and connecting to the flush tank with proper brass check nut and connecting to the W.C. pan and making leak proof joints of flush and W.C. ends and including removing the existing one etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing brick bat coba using 40 mm size graded brick aggregate in ready mix cement mortar 1: 4 for filling in sunken floor at all levels and locations, and finishing the surface even so as to be suitable to receive the water proof cement plaster etc. including curing, finishing and removing existing worn/ damaged plaster & disposing off debris etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing cement based waterproofing treatment to the sunken floor of water closets, bath rooms, nahanis, washing places etc. giving injections to the concrete surface as required with cement and approved waterproofing compound solution to fill all inherent holes, voids, honey-combs etc. in the concrete, applying waterproof plaster of about 25 mm thick for the floor areas of the depression and about 18mm on the side walls of the depression and continue the vertical treatment on the walls above the proposed floor finish upto a height of 600 mm with surface suitable and even to receive tiles, including applying one coat of zycosil coating with (1 zycoil : 20 Water) solution testing the treatment for water tightness by impounding water for 7days etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- i) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Appendix 'D' for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treatment in bone dry condition for 5 years. During the guarantgee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within a week's time from the date of intimation about suchleakages / defects. ii) The measurement for payment shall be actual area covered by the treatment. iii) The waterproof brick bat coba filling coming over the waterproof plaster shall be measured in Cum separately and the cost of the same is not incuded in this item.

Providing chemical based water proofing treatment of approved make ( Indofil/ Pidilite / Asian) over bath/ WC brick bat coba & other locations as per the following procedure: a) Cleaning completely the existing surafce to remove all dirt with wire metal brush. b) Applying a primer coat of water proofing compound (diluted with clean water as per recommendations of manufacturer) over the entire area to be treated including filling up of cracks, if any with CM-1:3 mixed with waterproofing compound. c) Applying a first coat with water proofing compound with cement in 1:1 ratio. d) Providing and spreading of polycon based fibrous water proofing net for entire area including lapping as per manufacturer's specifications immediately after applying first coat and curing. e) Applying second coat with water proofing compond with cement in 1:1 ratio over the polycon based fibrous net. f) Applying top coat with undiluated water proofing compound.
