REINFORCEMENT OF EXTERNAL FACADE AND STRUCTURAL STRENGTH OF BUILDING NO P-83 AT SUBROTO PARK UNDER GE (AF) SUBROTO PARK

Chipping off existing loose, damaged concrete from RCC members of all affected RCC Columns, Beams, Slabs and Chajjas on external and internal facades, etc., beyond main reinforcement carefully with chisel and hammer.Providing and applying rust passivator APCOREP RUSTREM of Asian Paints or Sika Monotop-1010IN of Sika or Thermax Maxcure 10 of Thermax or Shalirustop of STP or Nitoprime Zinrich of Fosroc to existing reinforcement bars including wire brushing of reinforcement, cleaning and washing of concrete etc., complete as directed. Providing and applying two coats of rust preventor slurry made out of Sika Rustop or MuCis Protezione Ferro Mono of Thermax or Shaliprime ZR of STP or Nitoprime 88 of Fosroc or equivalent as specified in the Brand Names and cement in proportion 1:1.5 to existing reinforcement bars as directed complete. Providing and applying bonding coat of slurry made out of Nitobond EP of Fosroc or Homeshield Epibond of Berger Paints or TM Bond EP of Thermax or equivalent as specified in the Brand Names and cement in proportion 1:1 to concrete and reinforcement substrates complete as directed. Providing and applying Polymer modified cement mortar SmartCare Repair Polymer of Asian Paints or Monotop-122F of Sika or Renderoc SP40 of Fosroc or equivalent as specified in the brand name in required proportions (1:5:15) to RCC members including hand packing, curing and making the surface rough for plastering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The work shall be carried out as manufacturer’s instructions and application methodology. Execution to be done with authorized trained/skilled applicator of manufacturer as per the technical guidelines laid by manufacturer.

Providing and laying Super Fluid Microconcrete - SmartCare Microconcrete by Asian Paints or Sikacrete of Sika or Build Microkrit of Thermax or Homeshield Mikro Concrete by Berger Paints or Shalifix MC by STP (or equivalent as specified in the List of Brand Names) in beam bottoms, columns, slabs etc. including chipping off loose concrete from RCC members of all affected RCC Columns, Beams, Slabs and Chajjas on external and internal facades, etc. beyond main reinforcement carefully with chisel and hammer, providing and applying Rust Passivator APCOREP RUSTREM of Asian Paints or Sika Monotop-1010IN of Sika or Thermax Maxcure 10 of Thermax or Shalirustop of STP or Nitoprime Zinrich of Fosroc or equivalent as specified in the Brand Names to existing reinforcement bars including wire brushing of reinforcement, cleaning and washing of concrete etc. complete as directed. Providing and applying two coats of rust preventor slurry made out of Sika Rustop or MuCis Protezione Ferro Mono of Thermax or Shaliprime Zn R of STP or Nitoprime 88 of Fosroc or equivalent as specified in the list of brand names, bond coat of polymer & cement in ratio 1:1, providing waterproof plywood/steel plate shuttering, pouring, temping, consolidating, curing etc. complete as per Manufacturer’s specification complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The work shall be carried out as manufacturer’s instructions and application methodology. Execution to be done with authorized trained/skilled applicator of manufacturer as per the technical guidelines laid by manufacturer.

Providing & fixing epoxy dipped shear keys of 10mm dia and 4" to 6" length in columns before jacketing, Micro concreting complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing, cutting, bending and fixing Additional Reinforcement in position steel reinforcement of specified/required sizes and shapes in the form or main rebars, stirrups & rings, distribution rebars etc., and tying them to shear connectors using GI binding wire. The additional rebars shall be coated with TWO coats of Anti Corrosive protective coating & dry sand to be sprinkled on second coat including tying with Annealed Binding wires, providing cover blocks of appropriate sizes etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

GLASS FIBER WRAPPING SYSTEM:.Providing & laying applying glass fiber sheet wrap of minimum 600 gsm over structural members including.surface preparation: grinding / moulding concrete substrate, cleaning it with wire brush, removing oil, laitance if present, rounding sharp edges to min 25 mm radius etc., complete.profiling: applying primer on prepared substrate, filling holes and uneven surface with putty etc., complete.wrapping: wrapping the glass fibre wrap to structural element at desired orientation using tamping roller to avoid any air voids etc., repeat the same procedure for multiple layer with interval of 8 hours.sand pasting: applying saturant, rectify air voids if any, paste the river sand on it to make surface rough to take any further finishes.(mode of measurement: per sq.mt of fiber consume and not application of surface area) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing and laying in position plain cement concrete of specified grade cement with /granite/quartzite/gneiss metal mixing in concrete mixer including bailing out water,compacting, finishing surface, curing and including the cost of centering and shuttering at all level Nominal Mix of 1:1:2 (1 cement OPC: 1 coarse sand : 2 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying, Drilling/Cleaning hole and injecting Hilti make ETA Approved HY-200-R chemical. Application to be designed separately for Rebars as Simply Supported, Moment or Splice Connection as per EC2/TR 023 or relevant tested and accepted rebar guidelines. The chemical should have ETA approval for seismic rebar as a minimum qualifying criterion. Drilling hole with double flute type drill bits or hollow drill bits to the required depth by rotary hammer drill, cleaning with brush and jet of clean air, filling resin and hardener using serrated nozzle to eliminate mixing error with standard HDE A22 battery dispenser along with piston plug. The installation and the setting instructions should be strictly followed as per the manufacturer’s recommendations. The adequate diameter and embedment of rebars to be decided as per PROFIS Rebar Software & the report to be submitted to the GE for approval. Scanning before drilling to be done to avoid hitting existing rebars. HY200 -10 mm dia 200mm depth.(Including required scaffolding)

RELIEVING STRUCTURAL MEMBERS Relieving Structural members such as column, beam and slabs of their superimposed loads partially or fully by provision of adjustable steel props, frames etc. including providing necessary timber runners, bracing, jacking up arrangement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Removing and redoing of brickwork, if required, shall be paid separately)

FILLING AND REINSTATING OF SEPARATION CRACKS Opening the Separation Cracks at the Junction of RCC and Masonry where ever directed and instructed into ‘’V’’ Grooves 2’’ to 3’’ from the either side of the cracks and 20-25mm wide and 15-20mm in depth by carefully marking the areas to be opened up using a Cutting machine and skillfully /carefully Chiseling with a well sharpened chisel and hammer as directed including Wire brushing and washing of concrete Substrata and masonry walls with water jet to the surfaces thus prepared to the entire satisfaction complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
