| 10 | Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 5 HP Kirloskar make submersible sludge pump, suitable for handling sewage, sludge and wastewater containing suspended solids. The pump shall be of submersible centrifugal non-clog type with close-coupled construction, designed for continuous duty operation. The pump casing and impeller shall be of robust cast iron construction, with smooth liquid passages to permit free passage of solids. The pump shaft shall be of stainless steel and provided with double mechanical seals operating in an oil chamber to prevent leakage and ensure reliable service. The pump shall be driven by a 5 HP, 415 V ±10%, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, squirrel cage induction motor, suitable for submersible operation, with IP68 protection, Class F insulation and continuous duty rating (S1). The motor shall be fitted with thermal overload protection and adequate cable sealing arrangement. The pump shall be supplied complete with lifting chain, guide arrangement (where specified), suitable length of submersible copper cable, discharge flange, foundation accessories, and all necessary fittings required for satisfactory operation. The pump shall be tested and commissioned in accordance with relevant IS standards to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
