INTERIOR STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS: The cost of following are deemed to have been included in the rate and to be read along with items: 1) The items given below shall be as per "Structural Steel Work" of the specifications. 2) All structural steel for insert plates, sleeves, etc shall be Hot Dipped galvanized confirming to IS:4759. 3) The rate should include necessary machine grinding, smoothening of the member/joints where-ever directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. 4) The rate should include the erection, machinery, equipments, temporary supporting structure and members required for the erection etc. complete including necessary precaution. 5) All the shop drawing required for the execution shall be submitted by the contractor in consultation with design consultant/architects including erection, construction methodology and work will start only after the approval of the same by Engineer-In-Charge. 6) Stainless steel shall conform to ASTM A 312 TP34 & ANSI B 36.19 E Schedule 5 S grade 304, Nickel @ 8 to 10.5% chromium at 18 to 20% unless otherwise mentioned.

Providing and fabricating structural steel work for column , wall panelling , insert angles and plates with holdfasts, handrail, window grills, catwalk, proscenium structure, etc. and any other miscellaneous steel work fabricated from I-beams, channels, angles, plates as per detail design and drawings or as directed,including cutting fabrication,hoisting,erecting and fixing in position ,making rivetted/bolted/welded connection and surface preparation by mechanical cleaning & applying one coat of approved steel primer complete as directed by Engineer -in-charge.

PAINTING AND POLISHING: The cost of followings are deemed to have been included in the rate and, to be read along with items: 1) The items given below shall be as per "Painting" of the specifications. 2) Rates for painting to plastered surfaces shall include the cost of approved proper primer treatment to new surface and ceilings prior to painting. Scaffolding at Contractor's cost, no holes in walls shall be allowed. 3) The rate for the items shall include the filling with cracks with approved crack filler as per manufacturer's specification, labour, materials scaffolding, watering if required, preparing the surface etc.

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying one coat of primer, synthetic enamel paint in two coats of approved colour and make, including scaffolding, preparing the surface by degreasing and removal of loose matter, levelling putty, etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Providing and applying one coat of primer & two coats of acrylic emulsion paint of approved quality colour and make to internal wall and ceiling including scaffolding preparing the surfaces, levelling putty, etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Finishing walls with Acrylic textured exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coat applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Providing and applying one coat of Primer & two coats of Premium acylic emulsion paint of approved colour and make, including scaffolding, cleaning, preparing surface, levelling, etc. complete as directed by EIC

Providing and applying Texture plaster with finishing with Purlina/ Rustic texture material (with texture material of Asian/Renava/ Nitco/ Temtex or equivalant company make) in 3 to 4 milimeter thickness on previously finished plastered surface including plaster Groove 6mm thick or Tape Grooves 35 to 45 mm thickness or as required in all postion with 2 coats of Acrylic textured exterior paint including preparing the surface scaffolding etc. complete as directed by EIC..

FLOORING & CLADDING: The cost of followings are deemed to have been included in the rate and, to be read along with items Note : 1) The items given below shall be as per "Flooring" of the specifications. 2) At least 6 samples for all finishing items of work, from different approved sources shall be submitted before starting the work for approval. Engineer -in -charge decision regarding the shade, quality and the source is final. All like materials of flooring, cladding, etc to be from same batch as per approved sample . 3) All exposed stone edges to be mirror polished. 4) The rate for flooring / cladding should be inclusive of bedding / back coat plaster as specified. Additional bedding / backcoat required for levelling on site not be measured separately for payment. 5) For all vertical cladding, an approved chemical adhesive for tiles as per manufacturer's instructions shall be used and the rates quoted shall be inclusive of the cost of this adhesive. 6) The rate shall include dense hacking of concrete surface required to be cladded. 7) Scaffolding for cladding shall be of self supporting type. Holes will not be allowed to be made in the masonry or RCC work for anchoring the scaffolding. 8) No separate payment will be made for providing and fixing, odd sized tiles of any shape and size to suit Architect's requirement. 9) Rate shall be inclusive of grouting material required of approved shade. 10) The Contractor shall provide suitable supports for supporting the cladding tiles and remove it only after the tiles have firmly adhered to its location. 11) Edges of cladding tiles fixed on the corners of the columns and walls should be polished as per directive of Engineer-in-charge, or as indicated in the drawings. 12) The maximum thickness of the paste prepared by using tile adhesive and applied on the wall and column surfaces should be as per manufacturers specification. 13) The contractors are required to study drawings carefully to understand fixing details of flooring, skirting, cladding etc, to keep required grooves between different finishes at door and window locations, flooring and skirting junction, wall and ceiling junction etc to match flush line i. e. vertical plane of wall and skirting etc. 14) Rate shall be inclusive of cost of scaffolding at all heights, grouting, curing, final polishing by non-slip wax polish and cleaning of surfaces. 15) A sample/ mock up of flooring, cladding, etc to be got approved from, Engineer-in-charge. 16) All additional grooves to be provided in vertical, horizontal and direction as shown in detailed drawings without any extra cost to department. 17) To make wall cladding surface and skirting surface flush, wall at skirting level shall be required to recess inside as per fixing details. The necessary recesses in RCC wall etc. shall be taken at the time of construction itself. 18) If any colour variation is noticed after fixing of cladding and flooring materials, contractor should replace the respective tiles/stones at no extra cost to mach the existing materials. 19) Machine cut tiles should be used where ever required or as directed by Engineer in charge. 20) The rate shall include protection of flooring with 125 micron thk plastic film till the work is completed and cleaning on completion.

Providing and fixing resilient wooden stage flooring consisting top layer of 94 mm (W) x 25mm thk superior grade knotfree , seasoned Teak wood planking (finished with 3 coats of matt french polish) with Tongue and groove joints in both directions , planks fixed with adhesive and blind nails on under layer of IS marked 25mm thk exterior grade phenol bonded particle board fixed on T.W joists ( runners) of correct size 63mm x 97 mm placed at 750mm c/c in one direction , at right angle , to the procenium line, corss battens of correct size 50 x 50 mm fixed to main runners at right angles at 450mm c/c extra runners to be provided at border edges of wooden flooring . Main T.W runners placed on 10mm thk and of size 150 x 100mm Neoprene rubber pads of approved (Type F3) etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Providing & Fixing half round teak wood moulding on stage front of size 200 x 75 mm in curved shape as approved by Acoustic Consultant with sanding, leveling and 3 coats of matt french polish complete.Work will be carried out as per drg & instruction of Acoustic consultant /Site Engineer Incharge /Architect.

Providing & Fixing 25 mm thk superior grade knotfree , seasoned Teak wood treads for stage steps (One piece) on hard wood frame / joist as per drawing & instructions stated below. Step plank shall have 300 x 25 mm thk with required length at site (1500 max) plank shall be fixed on necessary hard wood frame. If require on concrete step by screw. Applying three coats of Matt finishing French polish on wooden step complete machine sanding (before fixing) and leveling. Applying hard putty, filling gaps etc including internal surfaces of frame & Plank shall be treated with anti - termite treatment with Termiseal (RTU) or approved equivalent complete with leveling, sanding etc. Work will be carried out as per drg & instruction of Acoustic consultant /Site Engineer Incharge /Architect. Plank Size :-900mm Average in length

Providing & Fixing 18mm thk superior grade knotfree , seasoned Teak wood riser (one piece) on hard wood frame as per drg and instructions stated below. Riser plank shall have 150x18 mm thk with require length at site (Say 1500 mm max.) Plank shall be fixed on necessary hard wood frame (if require on concrete by screw) Applying three coats of Matt finished French polish on wooden step complete machine sanding (before fixing) & leveling. Applying hard putty, filling gaps etc including internal surfaces of saalwood & Plank shall be treated with anti - termite treatment with Termiseal (RTU) or approved equivalent complete with leveling, sanding etc. Work will be carried out as per drg & instruction of Acoustic consultant /Site Engineer Incharge /Architect. Riser Size :- 900 mm Average In length

DOORS , WINDOWS: The cost of followings are deemed to have been included in the rate and, to be read along with items. 1) The items given below shall be as per :"Carpentry and Joinery, Aluminum Doors Windows ,skylight, structural cladding. 2) For all aluminum works, the contractor shall submit shop drawing for each item of work indicating the section of aluminum, its weight and joinery detail as per IS 1081, & IS 1948 and total weight of window/door/partition walls etc. Wherever possible riveting shall be resorted to for connection. Alternatively hot dipped galvanized pinheaded sheet metal/brass, screws could be used. No mild steel without hot dipped galvanized shall be used for any fastenings, etc. 3) The rates shall be paid for Aluminum sections only, used on weight basis and fixtures such as screws, hinges, handle, tower bolts, hold fasts, locks and brackets of any type shall not be weighed for the payments. This mode of payments applicable wherever aluminium is to be paid on weight basis. The rate of item of providing glass panels includes cost of all types of fixtures and fastenings made of any materials, neoprene rubber gaskets, screws, etc. 4) Contractor shall submit samples of assemble sections from different manufacturer's for approval, Engineer-in-charge decision shall be final. 5) All work between civil work and aluminum frames shall be sealed and made air tight by applying external structural grade Silicone sealant of approved make at contractor's cost. 6) The work of curtain walls/structural glazing/polycarbonate shall be carried out through specialized agency approved by Engineer-in-charge. Contractor should submit the design and drawing for the Consultant's approval for all detailed engineering work ,showing sizes of member including fixidity details etc. 7) Thickness of galvanising should be 125 microns. 8) Contractor should take necessary precautions against Galvanic corrosion when combination different type metals are used at site for particular item.

DOOR FRAME : Providing wood work in frames of doors, windows, clear storey windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position with hold fast lugs or with dash fasteners of required dia & length. in second class teak wood etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Providing & Fixing 125 mm thk Acoustical fire rated door for Auditorium, shutter finished with 4mm thk veneer on both sides Frame:Door shall be made in saalwood frame in 75 x 37.5mm frame all round as shown & 50 x 37.5mm intermediate frame 600mm c/c vertically. Frame shall have both sides 12mm thk fire rated ply finish with 4mm thk Veneer including 3 coats of melamine polish on veneer surface complete with machine sanding etc.Micron of 50 mm thk 1000 gsm density shall be kept in between wooden frame. Door shutter to have two rebates having thin felt lining for making air tight door and drop seal at bottom of shutter. Fixing 1 layer of 5mm thk Tecsound insulation and 1 layer of 12.5mm thk plain Gypsum board in between two frames complete. Work will be carried out as per drg & instruction of Acoustic consultant /Site Engineer Incharge /Architect. Size of door - 1800 x 2100 mm height (including frame) Basic Rate of Laminate - 450/sq.mt. SHUTTER: The shutter shall have double rebates on vertical and top edges with provision for EPDM doorseal fixing in one rebate and intumescent smoke stop strip fixing in second rebate.The shutter shall have have provision for fixing automatic mechanical drop seal at bottom edges. DOOR FITTINGS: INTUMESCENT STRIP- 1no per shutter,proprietary shielded intumescent smoke stop strip in one rebate on three edges except the bottom.SILICON DOORSEALS - 1no per shutter in 1 rebate on 3 edges except the bottom as approved (14rmt/door)HINGES - 100x 150 x 6 stainless steel Hinges as approved 4nos per shutter.HANDLES - Stainless Steel handle as per design approved, 2 nos per shutter,stainless steel (304 grade)hairline finish,40mm diameter,750 mm long on pull side of the Auditorium doors. 2 pairs per door. DOOR CLOSER – a) IR – LCN - 3133 Concealed heavy-duty door closer, 1 no per shutter., hold open type door closer or equivalent. AUTOMATIC DOOR BOTTOM – HAGER Automatic door bottom 740 ‘S’ as per the requirement. 1no per shutter at the bottom edge.2 Nos per door. Panic Device - Dorma PHA 2000 Push Type Panic Bar for Double Rebated Door or equivalent. 1) On active leaf: PHA 2105- Single point locking, modular, for fire and smoke doors with a door width up to 1300mm, with security anti thrust latch and dogging device. Steel latch, steel latch keep with spacer.2) On inactive leaf: PHB 2202 – Top and bottom lock combination, for fire & smoke check doors, with security anti thrust latch. Steel latch, steel top latch keep with spacer plates, steel bottom latch keep.3) PHB 2203:- Connecting rod set with cover for door heights up to 2270 mm steel latch keep with spacer plates for double doors (without trim) 4) Key with lever handle for Panic Device Model: 3905

Providing and fixing 35 mm thick Flush door with 35 mm thick BWP Grade Flush Doors with Engineered Wood Filler (IS: 2202 – Part 1) finished with laminate with 65x150 T.W frame with heavy duty hinges , door closure ,S.S handles & locking hardware system as per drawing of approved quality etc.complete and as per instruction of Engineering-in-charge.

Providing, fabricating and fixing Single glazed aluminium anodised sliding windows 3 Sliding shutters in heavy duty 3 track frame with 5.5 mm thick glazing of saint Gobain or equivalent make fixing in position at all floors anodised of approved shade and colour finished aluminium work for windows, ventilators, louvers with extruded builtup standard sections of Jindal /Hindalco conforming IS: 733 & IS: 1285 fixing with dash fastners of required size, including filling up the gaps at junctions i.e. top, bottom & sides with required EPDM rubber / neoprene / polysulphide sealant etc. Aluminium section shall be smooth, rust free, straight and jointed mechanically wherever required, including cleat angle,alluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, stainless steel screws all complete as per drawings & manufacturers specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Contractor shall submit shop drawings for the same for approval of Architect/EIC etc.complete as directed." (Type W1)

OBSERVATION WINDOW: Providing & Fixing 3400 W x 900 mm Ht.Openable Observation Window (Control Room window) - FRAME : 230 x 50mm first quality teakwood window frame having 12mm thk clear toughned glass on Control room side as per drawing fixed in 100x15 teakwood beading with rubber gasket lining all round the glass to make air tight. Window frame to be melamine polish finish Work will be carried out as per drg & instruction of Acoustic consultant /Site Engineer Incharge /Architect.

Providing and fixing Fully Glazed Door Shutters with 12mm thick toughened glass fixed on patch fittings of PT standard patch fitting set includes top pivot, bottom patch PT 10, top patch PT 20, corner lock US 10 lock with EPC 60mm of appproved make and as per design and details given by the architect/ including accessories, pvc edging, floor spring-DORMA floor spring BTS 75 V ,SS handle-DORMA 316 SS TGDID 300X22S Satin,lock-EM3000AH etc. complete as directed.( Type D1)

Providing and Fixing trap Doors for accessing the services and utilities in BWR grade plywood 18mm thick with 6mm thick teak wood lipping all round, with 50 X 50mm thick salwood framework suspended from the ceiling, trap doors to be locked with Ellen Key locks with safety chain stay, finished and completed as per drawing and as directed by EIC.

Providing & fixing approved Frosted Film on glass as per design etc. complete as directed by EIC.

CARPENTARY WORKS: Note: 1. Providing cut outs, holes, slits, depression etc. for electrical, air-conditioning fixtures, panels etc. and applying solignum on timber frames surface in side the partitions, panelling shall not be paid separately. 2. All internal portion of furniture shall be done with french polish unless mentioned otherwise and shall be paid separately. 3. All furniture includes the cost of fittings, fixtures and hardware and shall not be paid separately. 4. The cost should be inclusive of providing pest control to the entire carpentry works and shall not be paid separately. 5. The partition shall be inclusive of 50 mm thick sound insulation of crown 100 type and shall not be paid separately. 6. All laminates shall be matt/satin finish type. 7. C.P. Teakwood should be of certified wood stamping. 8. Plywood should be of certified wood stamping VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) content in sealants/adhesives limits as mentioned in table no.01. 9. Godrej or equivalent furniture should have recycled content as part of their material specifications and should be procured within 800 kms. 10. Gypsum board for false ceiling should have recycled contents. 11. LUXALON or equivalent should have recycled content in aluminum. 12. Metal supports for flooring should have recycled content as per permissible limits. 13. Wooden flooring should be of certified wood stamping. 14. Carpets to maintain CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute) standards and the VOC contents in carpets not to exceed 0.5 g/sq.m./hr. and adhesives used should not exceed VOC content as mentioned in table no.01.

Panelling - Lobby Walls : (P1) Providing and fixing wooden panelling in 12mm thick marine grade plywood, conforming to IS:710, and 4mm thick natural veneer as per pattern and with grooves as per design, finished with melamine polish, including framing in seasoned salwood battens 50x50 @ 400 mm c/c in vertical and horizontal direction, with anti termite treatment to the timber complete as per design and as directed by Engineering-in-charge.

Panelling - Type AP1: Supply & installation of "Anutone" Salon Slats Surco or equivalent, Salon Slats Surco made of pinewood E1 grade fiberboard, melamine laminated finish, groove perforated slats L16-2 - (2mm grooves @16mm pitch), backlined with Soundtexblack acoustical fleece of 0.27mm thick, surface density 63g/m2, tongue-groove edge for a seamless look, 5-test fire retardant grade/ Non FR, size 128x2440x16mm, volume density of base board 700Kg/m3, weight 9Kgs/m2 (L16), 10.5Kgs/m2 (L32), 11Kgs/m2 (L64) installed on framework erected by contrator. The system to be backlined with thermally bonded,chemically free acoustical infill of 25mm thk and1000GSM surface density, with following technical parameters - • Fire (Class) – 1 & P (For FR grade) • Acoustics – 0.75 • Green (VOC, RC %) – E1, 25 Framework should be erected by contractor so as to achieve desired profile as per architectural drawing. Strut CC18 aluminium core cross channel, thickness 0.5mm, length 2400mm, web 15mm & 27mm, depth 18mm and flanges of 7mm with suitable edge &centre brackets is then fixed horizontally to the framework behind with the help of fasteners at every 400mm centers. Slats Surco of size 128x 2440x16mm in then fixed perpendicular to CC18 with suitable edge & centre brackets. Short edges of the panel are staggered. Contractor to provide expansion joints of 3mm at every 4.88m length wise and 4.992m width wise etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Panelling - Type AP2: Supply and installation of "Anutone" or equivalent, Strand Colour, square edge Magnesite bonded pinewood fibre core tiles of size 600x1200x20, density 400 kgs/m3, weight 8kg/m2 fastened on 18 mm thick marine grade plywood base with MS framework (MS work paid separately) as per designed profile etc. complete as directed by EIC. The system to be backlined with the acoustical infill Anutone SynthPF 10x25 with following technical parameters - • Fire (Class) – 1 & P • Acoustics – NRC 0.75 • Green (VOC, RC %) – Low, 30

Panelling - Type AP3: Providing and fixing wooden panelling in 12mm thick marine grade plywood, conforming to IS:710, and 6 mm thick "Corian" or equivalent solid PVC surface material, as per pattern and with triangular perforations as per design, including framing in seasoned salwood battens 50x50 @ 400 mm c/c in vertical and horizontal direction, with anti termite treatment to the timber complete as per design and as directed by Engineering-in-charge.

Panelling - Type AP4: Providing and fixing wooden panelling in 12mm thick marine grade plywood, to be finished in paint, conforming to IS:710, including framing in seasoned salwood battens 50x50 @ 400 mm c/c in vertical and horizontal direction, with anti termite treatment to the timber complete as per design and as directed by Engineering-in-charge.

Panelling - Type AP5: Providing and fixing mirror panelling in 12mm thick marine grade plywood, conforming to IS:710, with 5 to 6 mm thick mirror, as per pattern and with triangular perforations as per design, finished with melamine polish, including framing in seasoned salwood battens 50x50 @ 400 mm c/c in vertical and horizontal direction, with anti termite treatment to the timber complete as per design and as directed by Engineering-in-charge.

Stage Wall Panelling : (AP6) Supply and Installation of "ANUTONE" or equivalent, Mat Ebony, Kerfed edge, Magnesite bonded pinewood microfibre core pigmented ceiling tiles of size 600x1200x20mm, volume density 600Kgs/m3, weight 12kg/m2 installed by using Strut framework system with non-visible fasteners using Strut H-Spline. The system to be backlined with thermally bonded,chemically free acoustical infill of 50mm thk and1000GSM surface density, with following technical parameters • Fire (Class) – 1 & P • Acoustics – NRC 0.65 • Green (VOC, RC %) – Low, 35 Strut framework systems includes Strut CC50 Cross Channel having thickness 0.7mm, length 3600mm, knurled web 50, depth 50mm and equal flanges 15mm is fastened to wall positioned horizontally in a regular manner at 600mm c/c. Strut H-Spline having sectional thickness 2mm and length 2400mm to be fixed perpendicular to the Strut CC50 Cross Channel at 600mm centers. The Kerfed edge panels shall be then inserted into the Strut H-spline along their long edges of 1200mm against framework to perfect fit with staggered short edges etc. complete as directed by EIC.

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

Providing and fixing top hung movable wings of size 1.2mt X 6.0mt high with 50x50 mm salwood frame at 600mm c/c both ways , with 6mm ply with paint finish on one side and veneer on other including all hardware etc; complete as per drawing etc. complete as directed by EIC.

(Type - P2) Providing & Fixing Curtain housing 75 mm thk partition on salwood frame with both sides 12mm thk ply as per drg. FRAME : Treated saalwood frame of 50 x 50 mm at 600mm c/c in both directions in between frame have 50 mm thk 1000 gsm density Micron, Frame shall be covered by 12 mm thk ply with 2 coats of paint finish from both sides. Anti-termite treatment to the internal surfaces of wooden frame and back side of fire rated ply with Termiseal (RTU) or approved equivalent including scaffolding, leveling etc complete,Work will be carried out as per drg & instruction of Acoustic consultant / Site Engineer Incharge / Architect.

(Type - P3) - Providing and fixing partition upto ceiling height consisting of G.I. frame and required board, including providing and fixing of frame work made of special section power pressed/ roll form G.I. sheet with zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm(both side inclusive), consisting of floor and ceiling channel 50mm wide having equal flanges of 32 mm and 0.50 mm thick, fixed to the floor and ceiling at the spacing of 610 mm centre to centre with dash fastener of 12.5 mm dia meter 50 mm length or suitable anchor fastener or metal screws with nylon plugs and the studs 48 mm wide having one flange of 34 mm and other flange 36 mm and 0.50 mm thick fixed vertically within flanges of floor and ceiling channel and placed at a spacing of 610 mm centre to centre by 6 mm dia bolts and nuts, including fixing of studs along both ends of partition fixed flush to wall with suitable anchor fastener or metal screws with nylon plugs at spacing of 450 mm centre to centre, and fixing of boards to both side of frame work by 25 mm long dry wall screws on studs, floor and ceiling channels at the spacing of 300 mm centre to centre.
