PROVN OF MILD STEEL PROTECTIVE COVER OVER OVERHEAD WATER TANKS AND ALLIED WORKS OF 10 AFH AT AFS HASI MARA

Roughening surface of old concrete roof/floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc and applying the following treatment all as directed in order of precedence as stated: (a) Brushing neat cement slury with 3.0 kg of cement per Sqm. (b) 15mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in CM (1:4) mixed with and including water proofing compound as per manufacturer instruction on existing roof surface true to level. (c) Applying one coat of bituminous primer @ 0.40 Ltr/Sqm. (d) Supply and laying 3mm thick APP based polymeric membrane of approved manufactured with weight not less than 3.50 Kgs per Sqm reinforced with non-woven polyester fabric weighing not less than 160gms per Sqm having softening point not less than 15°C, having tensile strength of 650 N/Sqcm and 350 N/Sqcm in longitudinal and transverse directions respectively of the reinforced tearing strength of 180 N by torch application. Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 30cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing. (e) Applying one coat of aluminium paint @ 0.11 Kg/Sgm over APP membrane surface. Note:- (i) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done torch on method as per manufactures instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 150mm and 100mm should be made at the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and sealed all overlaps and joints as per manufacturers instruction. (iii) APP based polymeric membrane shall be of any one of the approved makes as specified here-in-after and shall conform to specifications given in IS 16540-2017/1S 16532 2017. (iv) Contractor shall produce necessary test certificate of the manufacturer to the Engr-in-Charge before incorporation in the work. (v) Necessary independent tests shall also be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost to the Deptt as per relevant IS specifications and membranes with satisfactory test results shall only be incorporated in the work. (vi) The work shall be executed through authorised applicators of original manufacturer only.

M&L for brick work with fly ash bricks old size, straight or curved on plan exc 6 mtr mean radius built in CM (1:6), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks old size, burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 mtr mean radius built in CM (1:4) as in half brick thick wall, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 15mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) to stone masonery wall surfaces or on other than fair faces of brick work finished surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F rotational moulded polyethylene (HDPE) water storage tanks, (made of 100% virgin and food grade plastic), triple layered, (cylindrical vertical with closed top) ISI marked, confirming to IS 12701-1996, hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I (1000 ltr capacity) including 20mm Nipple suitable for HDPE water tank and 20mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball, screwed for iron pipe and fixed to 20mm bore pipe inculding taking down old unserviceable water tank of any capacity, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F rotational moulded polyethylene (HDPE) water storage tanks, (made of 100% virgin and food grade plastic), triple layered, (cylindrical vertical with closed top) ISI marked, confirming to IS 12701-1996, hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I (500 ltr capacity) including 20mm Nipple suitable for HDPE water tank and 20mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball, screwed for iron pipe and fixed to 20mm bore pipe inculding taking down old unserviceable water tank of any capacity, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down 20mm bore steel water tubing and connection from wall /ceiling surfaces including cleaning for re-fixing or removing from site of work, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F galvanised steel water tubing and connection, medium grade, 20mm bore with all fitting, fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors, complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable 20mm bore steel water tubing, galvanized, concealed in all type wall with all fittings, fixed to walls and ceiling or in floor, complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Serviceable steel tubing obtained from taking down shall be re-used.)

S&F in repairs 20mm bore gun metal, globe or gate valve, ISI marked, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe, complete all as specified and directed.
