Excavation in trenches not exc.1.5 mtr wide and not exc.1.5 m in depth for laying of pipes as in soft soil and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material to a distance not exc.50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point.

S&F in repairs 20mm bore gun metal globe or gate valve with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed including necessary cutting into existing pipe, threading, inserting new piece of GI pipe of existing size, and earthwork in any type of soil or breaking/cutting into road/interlocking tiles/cement concrete, etc. and making good the disturbed surfaces as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to brick masonary valve pit of size 1200mm x 1200mm x 1200mm (Internal dimensions of chamber from top of PCC to bottom of cover) including excavation in any type of soil returning, filling around foundation and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m, PCC 1:4:8 type D2 in foundation, brick work in cement mortar 1:6, 10mm thick plaster in cement mortar 1:4 to internal/external surfaces of brick above ground level, covered pit with MS sheet cover 3.15 mm thick with locking arrangement handle fixing arrangement and painting with oil paint two coat over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement, 150mm dia cast iron non return valve /reflux valve with rubber seat flanged type without bypass arrangement PN 1.6 rating confirming to IS:5312/2004 complete with gasket, nut, bolts and washers etc as required at site all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling the water mains from the delivery lines, lifting/taking up GI/UPVC Column pipes, pumping sets including submersible cable (Appx depth of well is 390 Feet) disconnecting pumping sets of capacity 35 to 45 HP from cable and coloumn pipe for carrying repair/maint work and after repair Lowering of submersible pump Sets, submersible cable, column pipes, reonnecting main delivery mains as existing and testing for satisfactory running and continuous flow of water etc complete all as directed by Engineer in charge at bore wells at various location in domestic area. Note :- 1. Repair to Motor & Pumping sets shall be measured and paid seperately. Column pipes as required for replacement shall be measured under relevant item of schedule 2. Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for transportation to workshop and back at site including minor items like nut bolts, packing etc and taking out and lowering of submersibnle motor is included in quoted rate.

M&L for dismantling of submersible motor 45 HP from pumpset and cleaning all parts with keroseen oil and to carriy out continuity testing of winding of motor and taking out burnt winding wire from motor body and rewind with insulated copper wire as per existing gauge alonwith insulation insersetion material and replacement of ball bearing, bushes, greasing and testing complete re-assembling with pump and testing the motor on full load complete all as specified and directed Note:-Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for minor items like nut bolts packing etc

Disconnecting the pump set from motor and dismantling the submersible pump upto 45/35 HP for testing, inspection and cleaning all parts with kerosine oil and replacement of unserviceable spare parts and worn out seats fill with metals and matching with grinder or necessary lath work for smooth functioning of pump complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Necessary spare parts for replacement shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective items of this BOQ.

Carry out Chemical Analysis test including bacteriological examination of Borewell drinking water. The sample of drining water for testing shall be taken from following locations for further submission to the lab. Disconnected and taking out hypochlorite diaphrame type dozing pump from main line and transportation to civil workshop for repair and refixing the same after repair in its original position after testing for smooth functioning. M&L for Lead wool joint of size 100 mm dia spigot and socketed ends cast iron pipes to rectify the leakage of pipe line. Removing water logging from site and proper excavation for working on it. Removing old lead pig and insertion of lead wool and spun yarn of adequate quantity and returning and filling of soil and testing complete.

Note:- Safety equipment to be used in work shall be provided by contractor.

M&L for removing vegetations/bushes/foreign materials etc around the periphery/path/area of OHT & pump house, throwing the wastage at a distanece not less than 50 mtr as and where directed. Note -T&P and safety equipment required for the work is to be provided by the contractor.

M&L for draining out entire water from open underground static water tanks of various capacity, cleaning of all accumulated sand, sandy mud, insoluble particles, silt, etc. inside the tank, with the help of coir brush, jute cloth and flushing out/wiping off clean and applying two coats of lime wash on all internal surfaces like wall, ceiling, floor, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L preparing old steel surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.
