Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs

The cost of the Tender processing fee shall not be refundable

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of KPPP portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidder,s end.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing KPPP Portal.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt. orders.

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01.01.2007 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund.

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner otherwise it will be rejected

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval

The employer reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Tender documents KW-1 K.P.W.D. and further orders there on.

In the case of the death of the contractor after executing the agreement / commencement of the work, his legal heir, if is an eligible registered contractor and is willing can execute and compete the work at the accepted tender rates irrespective of the cost of the work

Contractor should take all precautions to ensure that no damage is caused to the existing canal CD works and other similar structures which have been constructed by other agencies during project execution. If any damage is caused, it has to be rectified at their own risk and cost.

All safety precautions, warning signs, night illumination, reflectors, deployment of security guards has to be ensured so that no untoward incident happens on account of negligence or any project activity. Contractor should indemnify the client to that extent

Formation levels and other data furnished are bare minimum. The contractor should make all efforts to validate and to get additional data if required at his own cost

Contractor should execute the project with least impact to the environment especially during earthwork, laying of GSB, bituminous surface etc.

Contractor should adhere to HSE policy applicable for similar projects. Contractor to that extent should submit HSE document defining all the procedure including the policies before execution of the project

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD, Division, Bengaluru South District during office hours on all working days

Materials like bitumen, steel, cement etc., required for the work shell be procured by the tenderer themselves and should get tested by the quality control authority before use on the work at their own cost.

All the items in the tender include all lead, lifts, loading unloading, transportation, labour, hire charges of machinery curing for concrete works, cost and conveyance of all material and all other such incidental charges necessary for successful completion of works as per the detailed technical specification and direction of Engineer - in - charge of this work.

When embankments are constructed disputes arising on account of damages to the existing field / channels, bunds and other private properties, if any, has to be resolved by the contractor. All precautions should be taken by the contractor so that there are no damages to such public private properties

Contractor should take all precautionary measures to avoid any damage to the utilities during excavation as well as utility shifting. To that extent the contractor should indemnify the client.

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act.

Note:- If any postponement of receipt date of tender, the same will be published in the KPPP portal portal.

The contractor shall maintain the road periodically, including removal of jungle, shoulder,drains and cross drain works asper the site conditions &as per the directions of Engineer in charge of work.

Contractor should follow strictly the prevailing rules of labour act. Contractors are directed to employ only the labours who are registered in Labour Department, if the labours are not registered, they are to be registered before employing them to the work.

Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security for unbalanced tenders in accordance with Clause 25.5 of ITT and Clause 44 of the Conditions of Contract or Security deposit for an amount equivalent to 5% of the contract price payable shall be deducted in every running bill. However, in case of first and final bill the entire security deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

The rates and amount put to tender are Exclusive of GST. GST will be paid separately over the quoted amount

The contractor must complete the work within 3 months and shall maintain the road periodically upto August -2027(1 year)

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/2A/CAT-1 other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

Bidders should be a domicile of Karnataka for not less than 10 years prior to the last date of submission of tenders and shall ensure upload of relevant valid document certifying his/her domicile status issued by the competent authority. Failure to upload the Domicile certificate Will lead to rejection of TENDER.
