Filling up / Repairs to the potholes through mechanized method using Jetpatcher machine in the District of South Goa and Kushavati.

Repairs to potholes by a Jet Patcher / Velocity Patcher/Cold Mix Spray Injection Patchwork Machine having an aggregate hopper size of minimum 5 cum and an emulsion tank of minimum 1 cum with heavy duty Air Compressor/ Rotary Positive Displacement Blower with direct drive, auxiliary engine with direct drive to heavy duty blower, a separate airline silencer, a compressor for cleaning the surface and water spraying mechanism for dust control, using semi-dense bituminous concrete in cold mix by using stone aggregate of specified grade and RS-I emulsion @ 6.5 by weight of the mix, including cutting of the pot hole to a geometrical shape and size using a cutting machine, thorough cleaning of the pothole, removal of loose debris, dewatering in potholes, transporting the material to the work site by a mobile truck mounted on the jet patching equipment, spraying the cold RS-I emulsion as a prime coat @ 2.5 kg per sq m of the pot hole area, laying the mix and compacting the laid cold mix with a minimum 4 tone statice road roller, to achieve a compacted thickness of upto 50 mm, by maintaining the profile of the portion of the existing road, abuting the potholes, emulsion grouting to seal alll voids followed by pouring of a layer of dry aggregate, before opening to traffic, complete, as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. The rate shall also include providing traffice safety and control measures as specified under Section 112.4 of MoRTH specifications, charges towards quality control tests & remedying of deffects, if any, during deffects liability period of 18 months.
