PROVN OF STANDBY POWER SUPPLY THROUGH 63 KVA DG SET FOR SERVER AND SIGNAL COMMUNICATION FACILITY AT HQ PUPSA, MEERUT CANTT UNDER GE (U) MEERUT CANTT

Supply, installing, commissioning and testing complete of manufacturer or OEM (Original equipment Manufacturer) manufactured and tested silent static Diesel Engine driven generating set 58.5 KVA (CPCV-IV plus) capable of delivering continuous rating, 10% overload for 1 hour in 12 hours of operation, 415 volts (AC 3 phase, 4 wire system of supply), 50 Hz at power factor 0.8 minimum. The DG set shall consist of a diesel engine coupled directly to a matching alternator, and mounted on Dunlop metallastik foundation pads on a common base frame and thereafter installed in the CPCB approved acoustic enclosure complete with control panel standardised by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangement and inlet, outlet, return oil arrangement, flexible exhaust pipe complete all as specified and shall comprises of the following :-

(i) Engine (prime mover) : Diesel engine 1500 RPM, 4 cylinders (In-line) of suitable BHP as recommended by OEM, fluid cooled, turbo charged, 12 volts electric one number maintenance free battery, complete with fly wheel and vibration damper, radiator and all standard fittings/fixtures as per standard manufacturing design practices and including suitable instrument panel with RPM meter, lubricant oil temperature & pressure gauge, water temperature gauge and freqency meter (digital type), battery charging ammeter and fuses, and also including self starter (12V), battery charging alternator, fuel tank etc and complete with HWT & LLOP alarm and shut down safeties. (ii) Alternator : AC alternator, brushless, 415V, AC 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire type, rated for continuous output of 58.5KVA, PF 0.8, 1500 RPM, insulation class 'H' enclosure SPDP (IP 23), self excited & self regulated with AVR for +1% voltage regulation, coupled directly/suitably to match the above engine. (iii) Base plate : Made out of structural steel as per OEM recommended design/specifications. (iv) Fuel tank : as recommended by OEM. (v) Safeties : for high enclosures temperature and emergency shut-down from outside. 01 number 12V lead acid suitable battery connected with copper conductor cable leads/terminals. (vi) Engine control panel : Made of 14 gauge CRCA MS sheet, dust and vermin proof, (protection class IP 41 or superior), duly fitted with the equipment/ metres specified in particular specifications.

(vii) Platform/Plinth/Base shall be provided as per manufacturers recommendations. Cost of the same shall deemed to be included in this item of work. (viii) Tool kit : Operation and Maintenance catalogue, 1 year spare part list, overhauling manuals, guarantee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer standard practices. (ix) Protection : Over load relay, Earth fault Relay, Under Volt relay – 01 No each. (x) Silencer : As per norms of CPCV IV + /recommended by OEM. (xi) Acoustic Enclosure : Specially designed to meet stringent MoEF/ CPCB norms of 75 dBA@1mtr at 75% load under free field conditions, CRCA sheets in Munsell green, 11 tank pre treatment process and UV resistant powder coating, High quality noise absorbent and fire-retardant grade acoustic Insulation material ((Foam) IS 8183 , Top lifting for easy handling at customer site, External fuel filling provision, Compact, and Lower Foot print. (xii) Emission Norm : CPCB IV+ Emission Compliant. (xiii) Automatic mains failure (AMF) control panel fabricated from minimum 14 gauge CRCA steel sheet (including CPRI type certified), dust & vermin proof, protection class IP -54 suitable for 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC supply system complete with contactor MCCB as per DG rating icluding AMF relay and display unit with single phase protection including adequate layers of powder coating floor mounting type with front opening, & panel shall comprises of all necessary accessories as per complete of Manufacturer or OEM. Platform/Plinth/Base shall be provided as per manufacturers recommendations. Cost of the same shall deemed to be included in this item of work.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 70 sq mm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying cables / poles foundation / stay assembly and getting out in Soft/Losse soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material not exceding 50 m and deposting where directed at a level not exceding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick complete all as specified all as directed.

M & L for dry sand cushioning in trenches for cable cushioning including watering all as specified on both top and bottom of cable including ramming complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Punned thickness shall be considered for measurement purpose.

M&L burnt clay fly ash old size bricks, straight or curved on plan , laid flat with width equal to length of brick , laid dry over electric cable for protection complete all as specified and directed.
