Carrying out following laboratory tests on the soil samples as per IS codes:- (a) (i) Sieve analysis and Hydrometer tests for identification and classification of soil based on properties and grain size. (ii) Specific gravity of the soil. (iii) Studies of settlement characteristics of soil based on consolidation tests and liquid and plastic limits. (iv)) Stratification of soil for entire depth of bore log including ground water table locations (v) Nature moisture content (NMC), Void ratio and porosity, Tri-Axial and direct shear test and unconfined compression test of undisturbed samples and Bulk, submerged and Dry Density of the soil.
(b) Compilation of Field and Laboratory test results, Preparation of reports, Recommendation for different type of foundations, water table,submission of all report booklets 05 (Five) copies with CD 01 (One) copy duly indicating the following:- (i) Evaluation of safe bearing capacity of the soil with respect to shear failure test and permissible settlement (Total and differential) alongwith recommendation about type of foundation and minimum depth of foundation to be adopted. (ii) Specific suggestion if any for soil treatment if required below foundation/ground floor/Roads and type of treatment to be carried out. (iii) Bore log diagram duly showing the different layers of strata met alongwith their depths.
