| 3 | TANK PLATE: OVERLAY | TANK PLATE: OVERLAY — • Provide overlay patch on Shell plates / any other location with the HPCL supplied CS plate of any thickness as advised by HPCL. Plate sizes of 1.5 M X 2 M max shall be considered under this item rate. All the arrangements including Plate bending/ rolling, testing accessories, consumables, supporting structural erection and all other things are in Agency's scope <(>&<)> Cost. Carry out vacuum box test/air test /DP test of the welded patch as per API 650/653 also under agency scope. • Rate payable: SOR Item rate is payable per running feet of Overlay patch welded using plate of 6 mm thickness. | 5 | FILLET WELD E-7018 | FILLET WELD E-7018 — Fillet weld joint with E-7018 Electrodes: Job scope includes collection of material from HPCL issue points, transportation to fabrication yard/work site, preparatory works for Hot Work, cutting to size, dismantling, edge preparation, fit-up, welding and laying above ground/below ground/overhead on racks, etc at all elevations. Replacement/repairs/ modification of pipelines for different pressure and temperature ratings of all sizes <(>&<)> schedules, flanges, orifice assemblies etc and all types of fittings like elbows, reducers, tees, stubs, valves, RF pads, threaded parts, etc as per the required specifications, drawings and instructions of Engineer-in-charge are covered under this scope and no additional payment shall be made for these items. • Removal of insulation where the section is to be replaced. Cutting and removal of the old pipes and other associated jobs is also part of the job. • Suitable electrodes to be used for welding as per job Engineer’s Advice. Root welds for all X-Ray Quality Carbon steel piping weld joint shall be done using TIG welding. Agency shall mobilize TIG welding set along with Argon gas and other consumables for welding jobs. Note: Welder shall be suitably qualified for carrying out TIG welding. • Rate payable: SOR Item rate is per inch dia of joint welded. • All electrodes <(>&<)> DP kits required for the various welding jobs to be as per the Annexure for Welding electrodes <(>&<)> DP kits. Charges towards DP Test, Radiography and stress relieving will be paid separately as per applicable unit rates. In case of any weld failure, the agency shall redo the entire job at no extra cost. • All connected civil works of excavation, backfilling, etc and PT wrap coating shall be separately payable under applicable Unit Rate items. • Blasting <(>&<)> Painting: Agency to carryout grit-blasting <(>&<)> one coat of primer paint (under the inspection of HPCL Inspection) for all replacements of piping including fittings prior to installation. All piping and connected materials shall be grit blasted to SA 2 1/2 of Swedish standard SIS 05-5900-1967. HPCL Inspection shall inspect the grit-blasting job and only on obtaining clearance from HPCL Inspection, primer coat shall be applied. Offer to HPCL for DFT checking after drying of Primer. Painting specification to be followed as per annexure. Further coats of paintings shall be applied by separate agency deputed by HPCL Inspection. Agency to mobilize the required diesel air compressors <(>&<)> grit, paint, consumables for surface blasting <(>&<)> painting. | 8 | FAB N WELD CORROSION PAD 6600-VISAKH REFINERY | FAB N WELD CORROSION PAD 6600-VISAKH REFINERY — Provision of corrosion pad with welding as per the specified electrode: Scope of job involves cutting, fabrication, fitment, seal welding and DP testing. • For non- insulated pipe lines, provide a semi-circular pad covering One-Third of the circumference of the pipe at the bottom of the pipe line at support locations. Length of the pad shall be 4" for pipeline size up to 6" dia., 8" length for 8" to12" dia pipe. and 12" length for 14" NB and above size pipes. However, the mentioned length is minimum only and actual shall suit to field requirement as advised by inspection. Seal welding shall be done with minimum two runs all around this pad. • All replaced items shall be grit-blasted and painted as per attached specification for painting of piping and steel structural items and are payable as per respective unit rate item. • Payment towards DP test shall be made as per respective unit rate item. • Rate payable: SOR Item rate is per inch dia of NB size of the pipe on which Corrosion pad is being welded. | - | Inch Dia |
| 9 | REPLACE CEMENT LINED PIPE 6600-VISAKH REFINERY | REPLACE CEMENT LINED PIPE 6600-VISAKH REFINERY — Scope includes cutting and removal of existing piping <(>&<)> fittings at any elevation, trimming of pipe edges after cutting to size. • Fabrication of collars with material provided by HPCL. • Supply and apply two coats of Coal tar epoxy on the outside surface of pipes / pipe-fittings at Collar location and inside surface of the fabricated collar • Carry out application of Cement slurry along with Nitobond AR and NitoBond EP as per Inspection advisory along the surfaces of pipe ends. • Butt the two pipe ends until the mixture of Cement slurry and Nitobond overflows <(>&<)> offer the same to Inspection. • After obtaining clearance from Inspection, carry out fit-up and weld the collar to the pipes / pipe fittings • Carry out service test as advised by Job/Inspection engineer. Replacement of cement lined piping to be carried out at per Annexure "TSD-IN-SP-02 REV 1 Procedure for joining and repairs of cement lined pipes" • Supply of cement, Coal tar epoxy, Nitobond ER, Nitobond AP are in the scope of the agency. • Rate payable: SOR Item rate is per inch dia of NB size of the pipe replaced.
