M&L for monthly 'A' Check Inspection of DG sets of capacities as described in Ser Item No. 1.01 to 1.13 including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set etc for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as required at site and directed by Engr-in Charge. Note: Items/ Spares required shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BoQ i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required. ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt if required. iii Checking of oil bath air cleaner level. iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank vi) Cleaning of air cleaner elements vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block ix) Checking of alternator carbon brushes and connections in alternator. x) Checking and tightening of all connection in DC control wiring. xi) Checking of all radiator rubber hoses for leakage and replacement if required. xii) Checking and recording oil pressure, water and oil temperarute for smooth functioning. xii) Checking anti vibration mounting pads for any deformation. xiii) Checking throttle linkage for smooth operation. xiv) Checking battery for cell test, electrolyte level, gravity and topping up to required level xv) Routine check / repair work of panel, switches, MCCBs, main switch, all contactors, engine control unit etc. xvi) Checking of AMF panel, all electrical connections etc. xvii) Checking of earthing resistance xviii) Cleaning of vegitation around the DG set up to 1.5 mtr area. 'A' Check Service shall be carried out as described in ser items No. 1.01 to 1.27

M&L earthing complete as per electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.0mm thick, buried directly vertically in ground in a pit depth not less than 2.25 metres below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less then 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to and including galvanised iron or steel earth wire 4mm by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. Earthing strip shall be protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 20 mm bore light grade and connected to continuous earth wire on pole / test point. Watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The earthing shall be of inclusive of excavation & earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel PCC pit and RCC cover complete all as specified & tested complete. Note 1. Following items deemed to be included in quoted rates (a) Earth electrode (b) Main earth lead from earth electrode to test point and further to equipment to be earthed upto 7.5 mtr. Supply and fixing in replacement of GI pipe bracket light grade of 40mm dia ISI marked duly bent to shape with an angle including clamps, nuts, bolts, washers etc complete including two coat of synthetic enemal paint over a coat of primer and dismantling of existing old u/s brackets of all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: - The total length of the bracket shall be 1.5m)

M&L for disconnecting jumpers/electric connection of street light fittings from OH LT line or junction box removing the carbon and reconnecting the same complete all as per requirement of site.

Supply and fixing of 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated aluminium conductor, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections twin core cable conductor of following sizes including taking down old U/S cable :-(a) 2.5 sqmm 3 core

Supply and fixing PVC insulated and over all PVC sheathed, stranded copper conductor wire 1.5 sqmm x 3 core ISI marked.including Steel conduit pipe 20mm complete from fitting to pole junction box complete all as specified. S & F in replacement of HDPE junction box of size 32 cm x 23 cm with cable glands, connector 3 P+1 N on insulators and necessary mounting arrangement ,MCB SP upto cap of 2 Amp and fixing on poles with MS Clamps and connecting with existing cable all as directed.

M&L for repair and replacment of U/S time switch accessories/ spares including reconnecting and testing complete Note : - Spares/accessories required for replacement shall be measured and paid sepratley under respective items of BoQ.

Supply only Nature Switch-02 (sensor) of illuminance level for switching ON is ≤ 30 Lux and for Switching OFF ≥ 10 Lux along with part night operation facility of 4-12 hrs.make- healer enterprises or equivalent as per site requirement

M & L for lowering of high mast lantern carriage for disconnecting and taking down U/S high mast light fittings of any type/rating dismantling the same for necessary repair or replacment of U/S spares and refixing, connecting, testing including raising high mast lantern carriage to its original position complete all as required at site and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (a) Spares/accessories required for replacement shall be measured and paid sepratley under respective items of BoQ. M&L for repairing of highmast for electrical operation of raising and lowering mechanism of lantern carriage with its supporting stand complete as required at site and directed by Engr-in Charge including following:- (a) Fixing, connecting and testing of existing stainless steel wire rope of 6mm dia (7/19 construction) with double drum winch (b) Repair / servicing of integral power tool, three phase, high powered, reversible with mechanical tripping facility. (c) Checking serviceability of trailing cable, flexible Copper 5 core 2.5 Sqmm through shaft and reconnecting the same or new cable as per requirement ( Rate for new cable is not included in this item).
