REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT AND REPAIR SUNKEN FLOOR TREATMENT AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS IN OTM AND MD ACCN AOR OF AGE B/R-III OF GE (N) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

Demolishing unreinforced cement-concrete work of any type, wherever it exists, including breaking it down, collecting the debris/rubbish, transporting it, and dumping it in a low-lying vacant area designated by the AGE/JE, within a maximum distance of 500 metres from the demolition site. The work must be completed in accordance with the specification and the Engineer-in-Charge’s instructions.

Material and labour for Waterproofing treatment to sunken floor using acrylic based multipurpose polymer. The treatment shall be carried out as per manufactures specification. The treatment shall be include of the following elements also: (a) Surface preparation of substrate by removing all traces of contaminates, loose and friable particles, cement laitance oils and grease, water repellent coatings etc (b) Injection grouting using cementitious grout if required. The payment for injection grouting shall be made separately etc (c) Repair to the substrate, filling of blow holes/voids and surface leveling using appropriate products specified by the manufacture. (d) All intersections of horizontal and vertical surface should be profiled with a mortar fillet of minimum 25mm x 25mm. (e) The moisture content of the substrate shall be checked before application of first coat at water proof coating at the rate of 200 g/m2 followed brush topping at 450g/m2 per mm. The second coat shall be reinforced with glass fabric between the first and second coat. (f) The treatment shall be protected by application of polymer modified cement mortar of thickness 10mm applied at the rate of 50g per mm. (g) Tech specification : Tensile adhesion strength 0.5N/Sqmm (as bonding slurry).

Material and labour for Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC) blocks work according to Indian Standard specification IS:2185(Part-3)-1984 and latest revision built in Cement and sand mortar 1:6 with Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC) blocks straight or curver on plan exceeding 6mtr Mean radius as in sunken floor complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying 25 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4, Type B0, using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate in flooring sub-base, including all materials, cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, water, labour, mixing, laying, spreading, compacting and finishing complete, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of brick tiles or terracing tiles in single layer on roof, including carefully taking up/removing the tiles, breaking/clearing bedding material as necessary, stacking/removing retrieved material and disposal of the dismantled/retrieved material to a distance not exceeding 100 metres at the place directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including all labour, tools, tackles and incidental works, complete as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of mud in roofs of any thickness, including removal of plastering and leeping, whether full thickness or only a part thereof, including breaking, taking down, handling and removal of dismantled material and disposal of rubbish to a distance not exceeding 500 metres at the place directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including all labour, tools, tackles and incidental works, complete as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Water proofing tratment to existing roof / terrace (material of water proof treatment as approved by GE) Single component, acrylic based, flexible, micro fibre reinforced waterproofing and heat reflective coating system. the treatment shall be carried out as per the manufacturers instructions and shall include the followings: (a) Preparation of substrate and cleaning it off all loose and triable by mechanical means (b) Open the cracks lines to form , V grooves with cutter/hammer/chisel up to 5-10mm and filling with crack filler and PU sealant. (c) application of primer coat @ 0.2 to 0.3 kg/ sqm followed by the first coat @ 0.75kg/ Sqm. (d) The second coat shall be applied @ 0.75 kg / Sqm and reinforced with fabric re-inforcement between the first and second coat. (e) The top coat of primer shall be applied after the second coat dries off @ 0.05-0.08 Kg per Sqm. (f) The material shall adhere to following specification. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION OF MATERIAL Tensile Strength 1.5 MPa ASTM D412 Elongation at Break > 200% ASTM D412 Adhesion in Peel > 1.5 MPa (on concrete substrate) EN 1542 Crack Bridging Ability Passes upto 3.2mm Width ASTM C1305 Permeability to Water Vapour Passes IS 2645 Water Vapour Transimission ~ 23 g/m²/24hr ASTM E96 Water Absorption < 10% ( by Mass) ASTM D570 Microbiological Resistance No Algae & Fungal Growth ASTM D5590 Solar Reflectance Index 102 ASTM E1980. Note : Complete material shall be approved by GE and procured in bulk and kept in lock and key. Note : The installation company should be trained and authorized by Manufacturer & installation to be carried out as per manufacturers approved method statement. All auxiliary & accessories involved during application should be supplied by single manufacturer as a part of system. Any component used which is not manufactured by the particular manufacturer can only be used with official approval from manufacturer in consultation with GE.

Providing and laying 40 mm average thick PCC padding in 1:2:4, Type B-1, using 20 mm graded stone aggregates, over roof slab, including all materials and labour, mixing, laying, compacting and finishing the surface even and fair using liquid waterproofing compound, complete in all respects as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Liquid waterproofing compound shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under the appropriate item of Schedule 'A' BOQ.

Providing and applying cement slurry @ 1.2 kg/m², spread uniformly with bristle brush, followed by rendering 15 mm average thickness in cement mortar 1:3, finished even and fair, mixed with liquid waterproofing compound @ 200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement, on roof surface, including all materials and labour, preparation, mixing, application, rendering and finishing, complete in all respects as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: - Liquid waterproofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only of liquid waterproofing compound, suitable for use with cement concrete/cement mortar, conforming to the manufacturer's specifications and instructions, including packing, loading, unloading, handling, transportation and delivery at site, complete in all respects as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
