Detecting of fault in HT UG cable with fault locator equipment to locate the fault in HT cable of length not less than 50 RM . Note :- (a) The fault which is detected through cable fault locater shall only be paid under this item (b) Charges of cable fault locator and DG set including transportation charges deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c ) Earth fault locator shall be provided by the contractor for even single fault and no dealy on this account shall be acceptable otherwise penality of Rs. 1000/- per day shall be levied. (d) Necessary testing of cable after making joint shall be deemed to be including in the unit rate quoted. However necessary earth work, cable cutting , joint making Joint shall be paid under relevant items.

Retro reflective sign board of size 600 X 750 mm made of ACP sheet of 3 mm thick, ACP Sheet shall be fixed on MS frame with legs of MS angle section 35 mm X 35 mm X 4 mm on PCC 1:3:6 type C1 foundation, 750 mm above the ground level and 600 mm below the ground level. The background of board shall be provided with green colour, letters and border with white retro reflective tape with same description on both the sides of ACP Sheet.The size of letters and description shall be as per directed. Board shall be fixed/grouted with nut / bolts / Anchor fastener with washers all as directed.

Cable route indicator / cable joint indicator solid block of size 75cmx30cmx10cm in arc shape at top above the ground level duly embossed words as per requirement including necessary excavation , earth work, PCC complete all as specified.

Supply only tinned copper fuse wire for HT supply from 8 SWG to 38 SWG complete all as directed.

Supply only in replacement of Blue silica gel 4-6 mesh suitable for transformers breather and to protect HT/LT panels from moisture as per site requirement complete all as specified.

Preparing surfaces of transformer of capacity up to 250 KVA by rubbing old paint and applying two coats of spray painting with grey deco paint from outside, and writing MES No / SM No with 3" letters on each transformer after painting with white colour on black background complete all as specified. Note: (i) Painting of transformer shall be carried out for plinth mounted and pole mounted transformer. Necessary tools and plants shall be arranged by the contractor.

Heating, filtration and dehydration of transformer oil as per IS : 10028 (Part-III) 1981, Para 5.2 (obtained from transformer/ servo voltage stablizer with dehydration/ filtration plant to achieve dielectric strength of 40KV at 2.5 mm gap, complete all as specified. Note:- Any damage occurred to transformer during the process of dehydration, shall be made good by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the Eng-in-charge at his own expenses.

Transformer oil as per IS : 335 (1993) for transformers installed at various sites or in repair for topping up after dehydration to achieve the di electric strength 60 KV at 2.5 mm gap, complete all as specified.Note : Transformer oil shall be brought to site in sealed containers from the original manufacturer and shall be opened in the presence of Engr-in-charge. Container shall be deposited by the contractor with the department which shall be returned after completion of work.

Breather transparent type suitable for step down distribution transformers of capacity upto 250 KVA fixed in repair complete all as specified.

Preparation of surface of steel tubular poles HT 11 metres long and removing rusted particles and painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, eye hooks etc and painting black & white 30 cm strips alternatively with synthetic enamel paint two coats from coping upto 1.5 metre height starting with black strip complete all as specified.
