NOTE FOR ALL ITEMS : (i)Removal of following existing unserviceable components of various furniture items carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts and S&F new components in lieu of dismantled components / discorded components as mentioned including tightening the joints, placing every part in-tact as applicable as per drgs. (ii Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units of GE (Central)Bangalore including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. PART- I (WOODEN FURNITURE) Bed hard with ply top: FD-246 (a) Removing the existing Unserviceble/broken long rail and S & F New 1st class teak wood long rail of size 90x35x1980mm all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Removing the existing Unserviceble/broken short rail and S & F New 1st class teak wood short rail of size 60x60x900mm all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(c) Removing the existing unserviceable stiffener and provision of new stiffener I st class teak wood all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(d) Removing the existing unserviceable leg on head board side and S & F 1st class teak wood leg of size 60x60x660mm including french polish all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(e) Removing the existing unserviceable leg on foot board side and S & F 1st class teak wood leg of size 60x60x500mm including french polish all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(f) Removing the existing unserviceable /damaged of head board frame and S & F new head board frame including provision of 12mm dia half cut round teak wood beading all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(g) All as per Item No 6 above but for foot board frame

(h) Removing the existing unserviceable /damaged 4mm thick plywood from both side of head board frame and S & F new 4mm thick plywood one side teak vennered face for both sides of head board frame including provision of 12mm dia half cut round teak wood beading all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(j) All as per Item No 8 above but for foot board frame

(k) Removal of existing unserviceble plywood carefully and Supply and fix 12mm thick BWR grade of size 1830x900mm with screws all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(l) Tightening of all parts of bed hard ply top Note for Item No 1.1 to 1.10 :- Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to inclide scrappig the old polish after filling the cracks, joints and un even surfaces with wax and then polish two coats of french polish to complete item as shown in drgs and as specified and directed by Engineer-In - Charge

Chair Easy with Cushion :FD-358 (a) Removal of unserviceable seat & Hand Rest cushion of Chair Easy cushioned and provision of new seat foam 75mm thick of 32 density cover with leatherised rexine to fix on 12mm thick plywood commercial to Chair easy cushioned all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(b) Removal of unserviceable back cushion of Chair Easy cushioned and provision of new back foam 50mm thick of 32 density cover with leatherised rexine to fix on12mm thick plywood commercial of Chair easy cushioned all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(c) Tightening of all parts of Chair Easy Cushioned Note for Item No 1.12 to 1.13 :- Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to inclide scrappig the old polish after filling the cracks, joints and un even surfaces with wax and then polish two coats of french polish to complete item as shown in drgs and as specified and directed by Engineer-In - Charge

Chair Dinning Long Back FD- 357 (a) Removal of unserviceable seat cushion of Chair Dining Long Back and provision of new seat cushion of 32 density covered with leatherised rexine fixed on12mm with plywood commercial of Chair Dining Long Back all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(b) Removal of unserviceable back cushion of Chair Dining Long Back and provision of new back foam 50mm thick of 32 density covered with leatherised rexine to fix on 12mm with plywood commercial of Chair Dining Long Back all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(c) Tightening of all parts of Chair dining long back FD-357 Note for Item No 1.15 to 1.16 :- Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to inclide scrappig the old polish after filling the cracks, joints and un even surfaces with wax and then polish two coats of french polish to complete item as shown in drgs and as specified and directed by Engineer-In - Charge

Side Board- FD-241/372 Supply and fixing the following new parts after removing broken parts including tightening with screw other members of the side board complete and all as specified and shwon on drg. (a) Top

(b) Shutter made out of prelaminated particle board exterior grade size of 220mm x 435mm x 18mm thick including 4 mm thick shisham wood beading all around fixed with continuous piano type hinge 40mm wide.

(c) Drawers made out of prelaminated teak faced pre laminated particle board shown on drg.

(d) Aluminium anodized knob 25mm of best quality.

(e) Bottom of side board made out of pre laminated particle board of 18mm.

(f) Sides of side board made out prelaminated particle board of 18mm.

(g) Front and rear leg including long and side rail frame fabricated out of shisham wood all as per shown on drg.

(h) Plywood 6mm thick commercial on back side of the side board.

(j) French polishing on surfaces of wood of side board width or girth including cleaning and preparing the surface including one coat of wood filler on new works with two coats.

Table Dining 6 person:-FD-239/273 Dismandling the unserviceable furniture parts for the following and supply & fix with new parts made out of 1st class teak hard wood all joints to be fixed with Bamboo pins wooden screws and corner / bracket (L shape) of size as required and fitted with screw between long rail to legs short rail to legs. after completion of repair scrapping the old polish filling the cracks joints and uneven surfaces with was and apply two coats of french polish to complete item as shown in drawing and all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Chair Verandah (FD-19(M)/ 256/359,FD/MAP-II/15,06) (b) Continuous welding 20mm dia MS tube at hand rest frame joint, seat frame joint, back frame joint and seat to back frame stiffener joint of chair verandah all as per drawing duly painting the affected portion with two coats of synthetic enamel paint(White) over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Chair Verandah (FD-19(M)/ 256/359,FD/MAP-II/15,06) (c) Provision of PVC bush hard of white colour approved make, fixed to legs of chair varandah including taking down old one as per drawing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Table Bed Side FD-248/276: (a) Removal of existing unserviceable top and provision of new top made out of 18mm thick prelaminated particle board one side teak and other side balancing white fixed with 4mm thick teak wood edging alround all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(b) Removal of existing unserviceable side and provision of new side made out of 18mm thick prelaminated particle board one side teak and other side balancing white fixed with 4mm thick teak wood edging alround all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(c) Removal of existing unserviceable bottom and provision of new bottom made out of 18mm thick prelaminated particle board one side teak and other side balancing white fixed with 4mm thick teak wood edging alround all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(d) Removal of existing unserviceable shelf and provision of new shelf made out of 12 mm thick prelaminated particle board one side teak and other side balancing white fixed with 4mm thick teak wood edging all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(e) Removal of existing unserviceable back plywood and provision of new plywood 6 mm thick BWR grade all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

(f) Removal of existing unserviceable broken legs and provision of new legs of Ist class hard wood (teak wood) top 50mmx25mm bottom and 100mm hight all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Table Dressing Gents with Mirror:- FD-31 , 230,379 (a) Removing the existing unserviceable broken mirror and S&F mew mirror of 5.5mm of thick size of 760x380mm complete all as specified and shown on drawings

(b) Removing the existing unserviceable frame of mirror and S&F new frame made out of 1st class teak wood and replace worn out of 6 mm thick plywood BWR grade back complete all as specified and shwon on drawings

(c) Removing the existing unserviceable table drawer and S&F new drawer made out of 12mm thick prelaminated particle board for front, 12mm thick 1st calss teak wood planks for sides and 6mm thick plywood for bottom complete all as specified and shown on drawings

(d) Removing the worn out plywood and S&F plywood BWR grade 6mm thick backing of table frame including tightening of loose components if any wooden screws complete as specified and directed Note:- Unit rate quoted for all the above items shall be deemed to include for connected minor reparis wherever necessary and one coat of french polishing the repaired Table dressing Gents with mirror.

Table Dressing Ladies with Mirror- FD-32/251/378 (a) Removing the existing unserviceable broken mirror and S&F new mirror 5.5mm of thick size 1220x365mm all as specified and shown on drawings

(b) Removing the existing unserviceable frame of mirror and S&F new 1st class teak wood frame of size 25x18 mm and replace the worn out ply wood with 6mm plywood BWR Grade complete all as specified and shown on drawings

(c) Removing the existing unserviceable top of table dressing ladies and S&F new top of table dressing ladies made out of 18mm thick prelaminated particle board with 4mm thick teak wood beading all round all as specified and shown on drawings.

(d) Removing the existing unserviceable drawer of table dressing ladies and replacing with new drawer complete all as specified and shown on drawings

(e) Removing the existing unserviceable sliding glass and replacing with new sliding glass complete all as specified and shown on drawings Note:- Unit rate quoted for all the above items shall be deemed to include for connected minor reparis wherever necessary and one coat of french polishing the repaired Table dressing Gents with mirror.

Hat stand with Mirror:-FD-233 (a) Removing the existing unserviceable broken mirror and S&F new mirror 5.5mm of thick size 300mmx 440 mm all as specified and shown on drawings

(b) Removing the worn out plywood and S&F plywood BWR grade 6mm thick backing and 4mm teak face ply wood commercieal in front of hat stand frame including tightening of loose components if any wooden screws complete as specified and directed

(c) Removing the existing unserviceable aluminium pegs of size 120mmx75 mm and replacing with new Aluminium pegs of size 120mmx75 mmcomplete all as specified and shown on drawings

(b) Removal of unserviceable handles and provision of new chromium plated handles 125mm long with suitable bolts and nuts as required all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(c) Removal of unserviceable corner clips and provision of new corner clips made out of 3mm MS plate to shelf all as per drawing and duly applied with two coats synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(d) Removal of unserviceable three way locking device of almirah large with 8mm round MS rod and provision of new three way locking device with 8mm rod all as per drawing and duly applied with two coats synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(e) All as per item No 1.04 (d) above but almirah medium steel

(f) Removal of unserviceable worn out legs of Almirah large with shelves steel and provison of new MS legs of size 435mm x 70mm x 100 mm made out of 1.0 mm thick MS sheet all as per drawing duly applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and Legs fitted to almirah by continuous welding all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(g) All as per item No 1.06 (f) above but almirah medium steel

(h) Removal of unserviceable shelf of Almirah large steel with shelves and replacing the same with new shelf made out of 1.00mm thick MS sheet made to shape as per drawing of size 910mm long and 435 mm width duly applied two coats of olive green synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer . The shelf should be fixed to Almirah large steel with suitable 3mm MS Clips all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(j) All as per item No 1.08 (h) above but almirah medium steel of size 365mm long 465mm width

(k) Continuous welding of legs, MS Cover and Corner clips of Almirah large and medium steel all as per drawing duly painting the affected portion with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

LOCKER STEEL FD-1029 (a) Removal of unserviceable handles and provision of new chromium plated handles 100mm long to be fixed as per drawing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(b) Removal of unserviceable hasp and staple and provision of new chromium plated hasp and staple 75 mm long to be fixed as per drawing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(c) Removal of unserviceable shelf replacing the same with new shelf made out of 1.00mm thick MS sheet made to shape as per drawing of size 530mm x 380 mm duly applied two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer. The shelf, should be fixed to locker steel as per drawing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(d) Removal of unserviceable shutter and replacing the same with new shutter made out of 1.00mm thick MS sheet made to shape as per drawing of size 936mm x 350 mm duly applied two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer. The shutter should be fixed to locker steel all as per drawing all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(e) Removal of unserviceable worn out legs of locker steel and provison of new MS legs of size 580mm x 80mm x 150 mm made out of 1.0 mm thick MS sheet all as per drawing duly applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and Legs fitted to locker steel by continuous welding all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(f) Continuous welding of legs, MS Shutter, Shelves of locker steel all as per drawing duly painting the affected portion with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(c) Continuous welding MS frame to the top base frame joints, leg joints and stiffener joints of Charpoy and also supply and fix new existing MS pipe where required of sorts all as per drawing duly painting the affected portion with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

CHARPOY GI PIPE 32MM WITH PLY TOP FD-220 :- Removig the existing unserviceable plywood, supply and fix new 12mm thick commercial plywood with ISI Mark all as directed and shown on drawings. of GI Charpoy 32 mm plywood top with appropriate MS Nut & Bolts with Washer . If any flat iron 40 x 5mm thick broken/ UNSV duly welded & replaced the same and here-in-before all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(a) Supply & fix GI pipe 32mm dia medium grade for long rail 1980 mm length each and threading both ends as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(b) Cutting the dismantled GI pipe 32mm dia long rail and modifying into one short rail and one leg. The short rail threading both ends as per drawing and legs including threading as per drawings, providing new MS sheet 3mm thick 50mm dia made to shape and continuously welded to the bottom and MS Sheet piece applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer all as directed. as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(c) Cutting the dismantled GI pipe 32mm dia short rails and modifying into legs including threading as per drawings, providing new MS sheet 3mm thick 50mm dia made to shape and continuously welded to the bottom and MS Sheet piece applied with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer all as directed. Note : Each leg shall be measured separately.

(d) Supply only GI elbow 32mm dia medium grade 3 way suitable for GI pipe charpoy conforming to relevant IS with ISI mark all as spcified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

(e) Assembling the GI charpoy with serviceable members as retrieved new modified / supply only members as obtained vide Sl item No 81 to 85 here-in-before all as per drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
