Supply, Install, test and commission of water cooled flooded Chiller minimum 70 TR cap on actual load condition unit shall consist of VFD type Screw Chiller with, Semi hermatic sealed screw type compressor suitiable for 407c/410A /134a refrigant. Shell and tube water cooled Condenser, Insulated Shell and tube Evaporator all as specified adn directed by OEM as part of Chiller Package. The Unit mounted starter panel with double door construction shall be single Power point type complete with IP 55 Degree protection, consisting of Power disconnecting Switches with fuses/ MCCBs, VFD starters for chiller Motors and complete with Under/Over voltage and phase reversal protection, Single Phase Preventers, communication card with SCADA complitable with RS 485 port complete all as specified and directed
(a) The unit shall be complete with Discharge Service valves to isolate refrigeration circuits, vibration Isolators to isolate chiller from building structure, pressure gauges expansion valves, solenoid valves, anti-freeze thermostats, refrigerant piping with Insulation for suction line, accessories of Safety valve, angle valve, liquid line indicator, water flow switch, Relief valve, Isolating valves and including MS stand to install the chiller units fabricated out of suitable size of structural steel sections etc. all as per OEM. All accessories housed in a single chasis design.
(b) The noise level measured at a distance of 1 Mtr from the machine at anywhere.
(c) The chilled water type AC plant will be suitable for operation on 3 phase AC 50 Hz supply .
(d) The Compressor shall have step less control from 100 to 25% of rated capacity.
(e) The unit shall conform to ECBC norms as under:- The IPLV shall be calculated as per AHRI 550/590 & 551/591-latest edition
(f) The unit shall be factory tested as per AHRI standard 550/590 & 551/591-latest edition.
(g) The conditions for Condensor and Chiller are as under:-
(i) Condenser: water in 89 Deg F water out 96 Deg F Fouling factor 0.001FPS
(ii) Chiller: CHW in 54 Deg F CHW out 44 Deg F Fouling factor 0.0005 FPS
(iii) The rate quoted for above package includes for:- Cabling from main panel to chiller unit shall be with XLPE insulated 1100 V fiire retardant armoured type copper cables form AC plant main panel to each chiller unit as recommended by OEM
(iv) 2 Nos copper earthing with Plate Electrode all as per IS including connecting to each Chiller frames with suitable 20 x 3 mm copper conductor strip - 1 Lot.
(v)Civil work of RCC foundations for chilling units as per OEM Recommendations . - 1 Lot.
Design, Supply, installation, testing and commissioining of End suction Centrifugal monoblock pump set for condenser water circulation system.The pump shall be suitable for the given duty points. Note: (i) The pumps should be provided with Anti Vibration Pads and RCC/Cement concrete Foundation. Rubber bellows shall be provided on suction and discharge sides for vibration isolation. 2 Nos 150 mm dia dial type pressure gauges for inlet/outlet shall also be provided. (ii) The quoted rates for the item deemed to be included all above.
(ii)Civil work of RCC foundations for pump set. - 1 Lot.
All as per Srl item No.2 here-in-before but Pumps for Chillers, Pump Sets duly insulated with expanded polystyrene(TF Quality) insulation 50 mm thick duly cladded with aluminium sheets of 0.5 mm thickness and properly clamped to pump in 2 semi circular sections. (i) Water Quantity - 168 GPM (ii) Static Head - 34 M Other Parameters same as per Condensor Pump
Supply, laying, fixing, testing and commissioning of chilled water piping Plumbing inside trenches with all necessary fabricated fittings such as bends, tees, reducers etc, and supports such as clamps, anti vibration hangars/pads etc( but excluding valves,valves/strainers/pr gauges etc) duly insulated with pipe sections of Fire retardent quality expanded polystyrene moulded pipe section of density 20 Kg per cum and thickness 50 mm upto 125 mm pipe and 75 mm thick for pipes 150 mm and above. The insulation applied after a thick coat of cold setting adhesive(CRPX compound) wrapping with 500 G polythene faced hessian cloth sheet (vapour barrier seal) (Fire retardent grade) and secured with 0.5 mm x 20 mm GI wire mesh and 2 coats of cement plaster (1:4) 20 mm thick in 2 layers(each layer of 10 mm) and water proofed by applying hot bitumen and fixing tar felt over the plaster. It shall then be finally finished with a coat of hot bitumen. The work includes digging and refilling of trenches and providing 500 mm thick 1:2:4 cement mortar pads at 3 M interval.The pipes are required for installing outside the building burried in ground complete all as specified and directed. The size of pipes shall be as under :-
(a) 125 mm Pipe (50 mm thick insulation)
All as item No. 4 here-in-before but outside the building all along the wall/roof(with necessary fittings,clamps and vibration isolators but excluding valves/strainers/pr gauges) adequately supported on rigid supports and duly insulated with pipe sections of Fire retardent quality expanded polystyrene moulded pipe section of density 20 Kg per cum and thickness 50mm, applied after a thick coat of cold setting adhesive(CRPX compound) wrapping with a layer of 120 gm/sqm polythene faced hessian cloth sheet (vapour barrier seal) (Fire retardent grade) and secured with 0.63 mm GI sheet cladding complete with type3, grade 1 roofing felt strip (as per IS:1322) at the joints and repairing of damage to the buildings if any etc as per specifications and as required complete in all respects..The size of pipes shall be as under :-
(a) 125 mm Pipe (50 mm thick insulation)
All as per item 4.0 above but inside the building (with necessary clamps,vibration isolators and fittings,but excluding valves/strainers/pr gauges etc) adequately supported on rigid supports and duly insulated with closed cell elastometric nitrile rubber of class 'O' insulation and insulation applied by adhesive confirming to standard OEM specifications secured with 0.63 mm Aluminium sheet cladding complete with type-3, grade 1bitumen felt strip (as per IS:1322) at the joints and repairing of damage to the buildings if any etc as per specifications and as required complete in all respects.The size of pipes and insulation shall be as shown below:-
(a) 100 mm Pipe (32 mm thick insulation)
(b) 125 mm Pipe (32 mm thick insulation)
Note: The Pipe of size 150 mm & below shall be M.S heavy class as per IS-1239 and pipe sizes above 150 mm shall be welded black steel pipes heavy class as per IS 3589,from minimum 6.33 mm thick M.S sheet for pipes up to 350 mm dia
Notes for Item Nos 4 to 6. The quoted rates for these items are deemed to be included for testing of pipe lines with hydraulic test pressure at 1.5 times the maximum operating pressure but not less than 7kg/sqcm for the period of not less than 24 hrs. If leakage is found, then same shall be rectified by the contractor to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning in position the following valves, strainers etc, in chilled water line complete with flanges etc, and duly insulated with uniformly cut pieces from slabs of expanded polysterene, covered with 500 G polythene faced hessian cloth sheet (vapour barrier seal) (Fire retardent grade) with 50mm overlap and 26 G Aluminium cladding. Care shall be taken to ensure that no damage would be caused to the insulation when valves, strainers are in operation complete all as specified and directed. The Valves shall be as under:-
(a) Butter Fly Valves (Manual) with CI body, Stainless steel disc, nitrile rubber seal & O ring, PN 1.6 (16 bar) Pressure rating for chilled water circulation
(i) 125 mm (50 mm insulation)
(ii) 100 mm (50 mm insulation)
(b) Non return valve with dual plate of CI body,Stainless steel plates,vulcanised NBR seal flanged ends and PN 1.6(16 bar) Pressure rating for chilled water circulation, 100 mm dia
(c) Pot strainere of size 125 mm bore having CI / MS body , bolted cover , flanged ends, basket of brass. Bronze/ SS wire mesh 24Gx 14 mesh for condenser water application complete with flanges, nuts bolts, gasket etcl as per specifications.
(d) Balancing valves of size 100 mm bore having casst iron flanged body , stainless steel stem and sealig disc EPDM stem and disc sealing , pressure test cocks complete with companion flanges, nuts , bolts , gaskets and probes for pressure measurement complete with needle valves and dial type guage for pressure readout etc duly insulatted as specifed.
(e) Supply & installation and testing of bourdon type Pressure Gauges complete with fittings , isolation valve etc. complete as reqd 100 mm dial for chilled water pipe complete all as specified and directed
(f) Supply & installation of Pressure Gauge plug complete with fittings , isolation valve etc. as reqd .(with out pressure gauge) complete all as specified and directed
(g) Supply, installation and testing of Thermometer gauge with thermowell complete with fitting etc. as reqd complete all as specified and directed
(h) Supply & installation and testing of auto air vent valve with ball valve size 32 mm dia complete all as specified and directed
(j) Supply & installation of purging valve complete with fittings viz nipple, elbow,tee, bend,socket etc size 32 mm complete all as specified and directed
(k) Supply & installation of GI 'B' class Drain water piping insulated as per chiller pipe 40 mm dia pipe (for Chiller)complete all as specified and directed
(l) Supply, installation & testing of Gate Valves complete with fitting like nipples, elbows, tees, bends, sockets etc 40 mm dia size (for Chiller) complete all as specified and directed
Supply, install, test and commission of PVC expansion water tank for chilled water make up water 500 ltrs. The Tank duly insulated with 50 mm thick fire retarding quality expanded polysterene of density 20 Kg/Cum and finished with sand cement plaster over chicken wire mesh and painted with 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade. This Expansion water tank shall be complete with float valve, overflow, drain and make up water connection. The tank shall be connected to suction side of pump with all fittings including necessary piping duly insulated but with out any valve. The department will show make up connection(within 15 Mtr of Expansion Tank). The connection should be carried out with Sch 40 MS piping 25 mm dia insulated with Fire retardent quality expanded polystyrene moulded pipe section of density 20 Kg per cum and thickness 50 mm upto 125 mm pipe and 75 mm thick for pipes 150 mm and above. The insulation applied after a thick coat of cold setting adhesive(CRPX compound) wrapping with 500 G polythene faced hessian cloth sheet (vapour barrier seal) (Fire retardent grade) and secured with 0.5 mm x 20 mm GI wire mesh and 2 coats of cement plaster (1:4) 20 mm thick in 2 layers(each layer of 10 mm) and water proofed by applying hot bitumen and fixing tar felt over the plaster. It shall then be finally finished with a coat of hot bitumen complete all as specified and directed.. Note :- The quoted rate include supply, fix, install , testing commissioning of pipe line, insulation and connected accessories
CONDENSER SECTION Design, supply, laying, fixing, testing and commissioning of condenser water piping with MS heavy class as per IS-1239, pipe complete with all accessories such as bends, elbows, flanges, nut-bolts, clamps, vibration isolators (but excluding valves, strainers and pressure gauges etc). The piping shall be laid overhead in plant and underground outside the plant room as per site conditions complete all as specified and directed
(a) The pipes are to be laid out side the building, buried in ground.The pipes shall be given 2 coats of two coats of tarfelt each having thickness of 2 mm and stick with hot bitumen. Pipes shall rest on half round rigid block resting on GI structure including excavations and refilling the trenches and providing suitable thickness 1:2:4 cement concrete pads at 3 M intervals complete.
(i) 150 mm bore pipe
(ii) 125 mm bore pipe
(b) Condenser pipes to be laid with in the plant, pipes resting on half round wooden blocks, resting on GI structures are as under complete all as specified and directed:-

Note: All pipes, pipe supports,structures shall be painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and lettering with white paint including marking direction of flow.

Supply, Installation , Testing and commissioning of perfabricated type cable tray of size 450mm wide x 50mm x 1.6mm fabricated out of perforated hot dip galvanized sheet of minimum 1.6mm thick with suitable MS bracket to be installed horizontally or vertically. The cable tray shall be complete including cost of bends, elbows, cross, tees, reducers etc. site condition and rate shall include cost of anchor fastners, screw, nuts, bolts and misc. and other fixing hardware painting of support structure etc as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- (i) All the joints shall be made with copper bazing to get proper conductivity. (ii) Item includes 7.5M Copper Strip as earth lead and 7.5M GI pipe as protection for earth lead. Any additional length of Copper strip shall be measured and paid saperately under respective of this schedule and GI protection Pipe shall be measured and paid through deviaton order.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning factory made and tested LT Indoor type, platform mounted, suitable size for all accessories fixed properly, suitable for 415 Volts 3 Phase and neutral, 4 wire, 50Hz AC supply system having bus bar chamber with insulated electrolytic Aluminium bus bars TPN of capacity 600 Amps rating installed on DMC insulators with bus bar chamber. Notes:- All the motor starters shall have electrically interlocking with each other as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
(ii) All the panel shall have sillicon based fire/heat resistance coating fire retarding DMC/ SMC filling for the opeining around the bus bar near to the sectional barriers and door interlocking facility forall compartments by using micro switch.
(ii) All terminations shall be made with proper lugs in the approved manner.
(iv) All exposed cables laid in trenches /wall / ceiling/ floor trusses shall be provided with silicon based fire resistance coating capable for PVC cables
(v) All components panels ,cables etc shall conform to relevant IS specification and shall also be got approved by Engr -in Charge.
(vI) Erection , testing and commissioning of the systems and various components shall be done as per the relevant IS specification including necessary foundation work as per OEM recommended

Dismantling of existing water cooled central AC plant complete upto 3x75 TR capacity complete with connected pipe lines ( Chiller & Condenser) , Insulations, Valves and strainers, Motors, cooling tower pipe lines, Disconnecting power and control wires of complete plant , Dismantling of exesting AC plant control panel , Dismatling /cutting pipe supports and breaking existing foundations of Chiller pumps, condenser pumps & Chiller units 03 Nos each with arrage necessary manpower & T & P for transporting it upto 6 KM at MES store yard for further disposal complete all as specified and directed
Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation / fixing pole / laying cable and pipe line etc or for man hole etc not exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed
Returning filling in including spreading, levilling, watering and well ramming in layers, not exeecding 25 cm thick using excavated soil complete all as specified and directed
Removing excavated Soil to a distence not exceeding 50 m and deposting where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

Manning and Operation including comprehensive/ routine maintenance of Central type AC plant during defect liability period, of 3 x 70 TR at two location ( one at OT chiller plant + one at Main chiller chiller plant including existing cooling tower & AHUs) installed vide schedule 'A' Section-I for the duration of 24 hrs in three shift of (08 hrs per shifts) (6000 hrs to 1401 hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and 2201 hrs to 0559 hrs) all days of week including Sunday and Holidays for deployment of one operator per shift (ITI/ diploma holder having adequate experience in the respective trade) for two years from satisfactory completion of Phase-I test complete all as specified and directed.
Note :- (i) Water and Electric required for operation of plant shall be provided free of cost by the Department. (ii) All consumable items such as refrigent gas, compressure oil and grase etc reuired for operation and periodic maintenance of plant shall be provided by contractor at his own cost . The quoated rate include the periodical de-scaling of condenser as per OEM recommendations and as per the manufacturer's instructions and direction of Eng-in-Charge / GE during the period of manning and operations, cost of the same shall be deemed included in the unit rates quoted by the contractor.
(iii) Please ensure that all tradesmen engaged in subject work covered in EPF scheme. Proper documents shall be maintained in this regard and submitted alongwith each payment. (iv) The expanses incurred due to insured and EPF scheme for the staff deployed by the contractor for manning and operation shall also be deemed included in the quoted rates of BoQ. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (v) In case contractor fails to employ the duty personnel in any of the shift, he shall be liable to bear the recovery @ Rs 1500/- per shift and no payment shall be made for that shift and no payment shall be made for that shift also. (vi) In case contractor fails to attend fault in 24 hr after intimation by department , he shall be liable to bear the recovery @ Rs 1500 /- per Hr and department shall rectify the fault through other agency on contractor risk and cost and amount should be recovered from contractor dues.
Note :- (a) Rate quoted includes Manpower supply and routine comprehensive maintenace during complete Manning & operation period during defect liablity period. (b) Contractors shall provide all kind hand tools / tester as test lamp without any extra cost as per OEM recommendations. (c) Tradesman will take all preventive measures as per code of practice of EI Rules and the Department will not be responsible for any type of untowards incident.
(d) Repair party will rush to spot of fault by two wheeler/four wheeler at their own arrengement to restore the faults of equipments and attend the complaint. (e) Contractor will provide instulation Tape,Cotton waste and all tools viz hand gloves, spanner set, tool kit, tool bag etc. (f) In case additional man power is reqd to restore the equipment complaint the same will be provided by the contractor without extra cost. (g) Equipment / Machinery will always be kept neat & clean and maintenance in presentable condition. (h) Proper protective Clothing of mainteance staff employing in breakdown duty shall be arranged by contractor on his own arrangement.

(ii) The quoated rate include comprehenisve maintenace, Repair and replacement including repair / replacement attending All major brekdown like compressor failure, routine discaling of condenser, changing of all electrical and electronic spare parts in chiller panels as well as in chiller plant electrical panel, reparing and replacement of expansion valve, safety devices and valves , reweinding of motors and pumps , major overhaulding of compressor, comressor motors , overhauling and maintenace of chiller and condenser pumps and its motors , electricl contactor and relays, repair and replacement of valves, stainers and insulations etc all other items installed in SCH "A" Part -I and other routine items such as refrigent gas, Compressure oil and grase, Lugs, gland , wires and cables etc reuired for smooth operation of plant shall be provide by contractor at his own cost as per the manufacturer's instructions and direction of GE during the period of manning and operations, cost of the same shall be deemed incluluded in the unit rates quoted by the contractor.
