Excavation in trenches in foul position n.exc 1.5m width and n.exc 1.5 m depth and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and as directed
Excavation in trenches in foul position n.exc 1.5m width and exc 1.5 m depth but not exc 3mtr and getting out in hard/dense soil including soil obtained from excavation shall be removed outside MD land all as specified and as directed
Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified. Note No. 1: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming. The unit rate is deemed to include for :-

Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be carefully filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled.
Cleaning blockage from nahani traps of bath/kitchen in ground floor and upper floors by taking out mud/sand and re-fixing in position.
All as per item No. 19 above but cleaning of blockage from Gully trap to 1st manholes in ground floors.
Cleaning of blockages from water closets in ground floors/upper floor including re-fixing of lid of door bends etc in position after completion of job all as specified and as directed.
Attending day to day complaints of different type of sewage work such as removing blockage of WCs, floor traps, Nahani traps, Gully traps, CI/PVC pipes all types top to bottom including junction etc.
The unit rate is deemed to include for item No. 16 to 22 :-

Safaiwala shall report to concerned JE /AGEin service centre B&R daily including Sunday and holiday and get the job card for carrying out the work. The Job card shall be returned to concerned JE/AGE duly signed by the users as a token of completion of job.
Cleaning, removal of silts/wastage of organic or inorganic materials of Sewage line of 100mm to 450mm bore up to 1st manhole, Manhole, from manholes, GT Chamber, etc to maintain sewage system functional all working days including Sundays and holidays along with necessary T&P i.e flexible rods, cleaning pumps and safety kits etc.
The complaints to be rectified within SIX hours on same day. The Delay in rectification of complaint more than Six hours, the penalty will be levied @ Rs.100.00 Per complaint.
In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC.

Note : The rate included for excavation, returning, filling & rammering of barrow pits for burying of removed sludge under the ground, making good the excavated earth to a true surfaces and transport required and dewatering of efflorecents from septic tank/soak well etc in nearest drain by means of 7.5 HP non clogging diesel driven pump.

Note No. 1 :- Solid sludge means bulky mass of sludge which remains at the bottom of septic tank/soakage well after pumping out/taking out sludge water.
Note No. 2 :- Contractors are advised to ascertain the place suitable/earmarked for disposal of sludge/sewage water from local municipality or area controlling authority before quoting their rates. Disposal of waste at suitable place shall be sole responsibility of contractors and no representation or objection in this regard will be entertained at any later stage.

Note :- The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate of Tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

Note for ser No 67 & 68 :- The following shall be considered in quoted rate. (i) The advanced septic tank to be manufactured by using Roto moulding process as per IS 10141:1982 using superior quality LLDPE as raw material and black colour, In this connection the contractor has to submit certificate from the manufacturer before commencement of work/ at the time of sample approval. (ii) The advanced septic tank should have flexible inlet and outlet. Tank must have two compartment with provision of sediment collection in Ist compartment and only water should enter in to the 2nd compartment. The 2nd compartment must have polymeric superior quality ball ring media placed in such way it should enter neither Ist compartment nor the outlet pipe. Tank should have heavy duty design to withstand the loaded sand even if it buried few meter below the ground level. (iii) Tank should have designed tree root and other element should not enter into the tank. (iv) The man cover of the tank should be strong and airtight during usage. The performance of the advanced septic tank must be BOD reduction upto 70% in usage. (v) The advanced septic tank should be durable, light weight, 100% ECO friendly, rust proof, leak proof and easy to install.

Note : (a) Record of complaints/complaint slip showing qtr No, bldgs No, nature of job supported with users signature shall be prepared as per format directed by Engr-in-charge & will be deposited to concerned JE (B/R) within 24 hrs, failing which a sum of Rs. 50.00 per day will be recovered from the contractor. (b) Necessary complaints slip/complaints register & other stationary required shall be contractor responsibility. (c) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent/ routine works and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt. (d) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.
(e) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent/ routine nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt. (f) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.
